So me and Master [member="Varus Shatterstar"] were talking and came up with a plot for the growth of some Jedi Padawans on a mission the two of us came up with if any were interested. To investigate a criminal ring and possible darkside cult.

Actually Master Shatterstar just basically granted permission for the Padawans to remove the inhibitor chip so their lightsabers, those with non-training sabers, can be lethal again. If you break the chip. And even if you don't, they'll still block blaster bolts, just not take off anyone's arms or heads. He's more or less asking them to be responsible with a deadly weapon and only draw it if they mean it and can use it properly.

So you're not actually going in with no weapons.
