Intent: An armor mod for the Project ARES Power Armor
Development Thread: None (Will complete a 10 post installation of the device into the armor)
Manufacturer: Paladin Supply Co.
Model: Mk. 1
Affiliation: The Paladin Consortium, Owner of the Project ARES Power Armor
Modularity: The fuel types can be switched for the dispersion unit, rockets can be swapped out for the rocket unit
Production: Unique
Material: Durasteel, tungsten, blaster components
Classification: Wrist-mounted dispersion/blaster/rocket unit
Size: Wrist-mounted
Length: 23 cm
Weight: 2 kg
Ammunition Type: Powel cell, fuel canisters (dispersion system), rockets (rocket system)
Ammunition Capacity: 3 shots per fuel canister (dispersion system), 3 rockets before reload (rocket system), shots for blaster system depends on suit's power supply
Effective Range: Slightly longer than the typical flamethrower (dispersion system), depends on the rocket being fired (rocket system), short-ranged blaster rifle (blaster system)
Rate of Fire: 1 shot every 5 seconds (dispersion system), 1 shot every 2 seconds (unless all are launched at once) (rocket system), fully-automatic (blaster system)
Special Features:
Target Lock Mechanism (rocket system)
Cooling system
Many different types of fuel can be placed in the canisters (dispersion system)
Easy switching mechanism between the two fuel canisters, though they can both be combined at once (dispersion system)
Easy reloading system
Missile fitting mechanism (rocket system)
Contained EMP option to reduce risk of self-harm
Description: This modification is built to be added to the Project ARES Power Armor. It is mounted to the device's wrist slot. It includes 3 different systems, which I will divide here for ease of finding information.

Dispersion System
This part of the weapon is meant to disperse the contents of the fuel canister(s) into the area in front of the weapon. The fuel canisters can contain any number of substances from gasoline to force breaker gas. The tungsten chamber in which the canisters are kept in contains two canisters, each hooked up to the dispersion nozzle separately. The device has an easy reload system, making it simple to place in more fuel canisters once the old ones are used up. It also has an easy-to-operate system in which the user can swap between each canister mid-combat, adding to variety in what is dispersed. These substances can also be combined into a single longer jet. However, this can be dangerous. If two chemically reactive substances combine with one another, then the consequences for the user could be dire. Using this function also consumes double the ammunition, making it a costly bid to use in battle.

The nozzle has an ignition field inside of it that can be toggled on/off by the user. That way, if substances are being emitted that are meant to be chemically reactive to heat or electricity (such as ignition of a flame), they can be activated as they leave the barrel.

One fuel that is typically found inside is the Kalso's Revenge napalm. It can burn at up to 4000 degrees Fahrenheit, which is pretty fething hot. Like, it can melt Bes'kar with enough successive shots. The scientists at Paladin Supply Co. used the Hutt Cartel's powerful napalm blaster as inspiration, breaking down the molecular structure of the fuel, analyzing it, and producing it.

Of course this is extremely dangerous, having canisters of potentially highly volatile substances attached to your forearm. Might want to call Jake from State Farm to amp up your health insurance policy before using this baby.

Rocket System
This part of the device was inspired by the classic MM9 rocket system, though it was much improved on. The idea was to create a system that could fire many different types of rockets of many different sizes. The magnetic rocket sleeves were therefore made adjustable. This means they can expand and contract to holster a range of different-sized rockets.

It is also graced by a Target Locking mechanism. After a couple seconds of locking on, the missile can be released to track and follow the target until it either explodes or runs out of fuel. This can be useful for those evasive targets that would normally just jump out of the way of your rockets.

Like the other systems, it is made to be easy to reload. Also just like the other systems, it has a cooling mechanisms to ensure nothing overheats in the middle of a fight. A contained EMP system was added in case of a situation where the rockets may unintentionally explode or be used against their wielder. The concentrated EMP will fry the rockets within, ensuring they cannot explode and harm the user wearing them on their wrist.

Blaster System
This blaster system wasn't meant to be anything special, just something to augment the rest of the device as a regular blaster attached to the armor. It has a high rate of fire, mainly being used for suppressing fire against enemies. The lasers travel through a decent-sized chamber of parabolic mirrors, which amplifies the beams' power without actually increasing the suit's power input into the system.

So as not to be harmed by any corrosive materials emitting from the dispersion system, the mini blaster barrel is normally kept behind the emissions nozzle. When it's time to fire the blaster, a small motor pushes the barrel forward to increase accuracy. An auto-lock mechanism engages so the dispersion system cannot activate while the blaster is firing. When it is done firing, the barrel retracts back to its normal position and the auto lock disengages. #safetyfirst
