APPEARANCE:
Standing at just about 6 feet, Oz looks like most other members of his species, tan/fair skin, white hair and eyes, and four fingers. However, his body has extensive scarring over his body from many internal cybernetic implants, especially around his head and limbs. On his backside he has suffered some serious burns from his time as a slave where he was punished with a barbaric tarring and feathering. Nearly all his bones have been replaced with armorplast metals and even some of his muscles have been replaced with stronger, synthetically grown, organic based wiring. Keeping it organic so that he can make himself stronger from working out. Oz poses a lean, fit, mesomorph body.
Personality:
Like most of his species, Oz views himself as being above others on a genetic, and biological level. But just because he thinks he's better then most others doesn't mean he needs to be rude about it. In fact generally he's a very well mannered, and cultured individual thanks to his background on Naboo. Being gifted with a natural affinity for science and intellect. In fact one could say that he has a dangerous amount of blind faith in it, believing it science and do no wrong, and any perceived notion of it is just sentient error. While also believing that oppression in nearly any form is unjust and should be broken. From his regimented time as a slave, and followed up time as a free bounty hunter. One can find a good mental balance in Oz between rebellion, and conformity whenever right.
BIOGRAPHY:
Oz has no memories of his biological parents, being adopted at a very young age into a family of high social standing on Naboo. However, a life of luxury on a beautiful world was not what was destined for him. Into is early teens while on a trip to visit another world his transport was on the receiving end of a pirate attack, or so he thought, as it turned out that they were slavers. So hearing that a ship containing Naboo citizens was something they couldn't ignore since a slave from Naboo was a rare find.
Oz's parents perished in the attack, and he was violently thrust into alien part of the galaxy. One that his home world was good at sheltering him from. A Arkanian Naboo child slave such as himself was valuable, both in background and age. However, having been fairly well educated made him a rather risky investment.
This didn't deter some buyers though, and in fact saw it as a potential asset. In his first auction he was sold and brought to Hutt Space. This is when he was given the name Oz by his masters. Fearing a life of intense, and lethal labor ahead of him Oz was surprised to find that he wasn't to be treated like any ordinary slave. Instead he was to be trained under an overseer as a sort of slave driver.
Through the years Oz was taught and did horrible things to people he was tasked with having authority over. Making him hated among other slaves that he worked with, his masters had employed a victim vs victim tactic on them. Using a slave to manage other slaves. But Oz was taught not to think of it that way, and was made to feel discontented with those he had power over. During this time he was taught that might makes right. But he wasn't only managing fellow slaves, but was also responsible for hunting down those who'd escaped. All in all this made Oz into a ruthless individual. But that wouldn't always be the case.
However, an internal rebellion was brewing inside of Oz, as someone who was proud of his Arkanian heritage, and wasn't something that could so easily be taken from him. His intellect kept him from being rash in his decision making, despite how much it pained him to be under the control of lesser life forms. His owners had turned him no only into the perfect weapon against slaves, but the perfect weapon against slavers as well.
In an unpredictable outburst, uncharacteristic of him until that point. Oz rebelled, and did so in an inhumanly calculated, methodical, and brutal manner. First by ending the unjust lives of his masters, as well as any clear successors, making whoever was in charge and entangled mess, and within a single night he dismantled and entire low level sentient trafficking ring. Since it was done so swiftly and without any real witnesses no one knew it was him, and he escaped. Althought he was free and could use his birth name, he decided against it. In his mind his birth name was unlucky, since he was enslaved after getting it. While he believed his slave name to be lucky, since he became free with it.
As a Force User Oz is mostly self taught, he first discovered his sensitivity after running some tests on himself to see if he had the midi-chlorian count to qualify. He would've sought out proper tutelage from either the Jedi or Sith orders. But he believed The Sith to be hypocrites to their most fundamental code, and Jedi in his eyes were too spineless. So with the massive decentralization of Force Users in the galaxy now more then any other period in time it wasn't difficult for him to do his own research and occasionally seek out bits of wisdom from other more experianced Force Users .
Oz viewed himself as an apex predictor, and alpha among other organism. Now free to hunt his own prey without the leash of an owner, Oz set out to become a top of the line bounty hunter in Hutt space, specializing in kidnap retrieval and anti-slaver operations. Thus setting him away from his primordial world views. Eventually his skills were noticed by some powerful individuals by the confederacy, and was eventually picked up as an undercover agent for the Ministry of Secrets
