CORPORATION DESCRIPTION

The Outer Worlds Directorate was established at a turning point in diplomatic relations which opened up the previously inaccessible territories of the Eternal Empire. Its purpose, to act as a financial backer focused solely on providing investment capital to denizens of the Eternal Empire, whilst also acquiring assets and developing those same assets located in the Unknown Regions. Following a similar employment policy as was seen by its parent corporation in the Confederacy of Independent Systems - The Outer Worlds Directorate first and foremost hires citizens of the Eternal Empire and extends to them employment opportunities with a priority status before seeking qualified individuals from outside of the Empire's borders. Due in part to the location of the Corporation beyond the well-known midline of the Hyperspace Barrier and often at times unreliable communications and hyperspace routes in the area - the Outer Worlds Directorate is often left to its own devices and permitted operational discretion in regards to its ongoing operations and future investments; so long as they attempt to keep their parent corporation apprised of their activities.

HISTORICAL AND GENERAL INFORMATION

As the diplomatic relationship between the Eternal Empire and the Confederacy of Independent Systems began to warm to a more neutral stance - shifting away from the previous combative and hostile posturing between the two Interstellar Governments - the Outer Worlds Directorate was established upon orders of Amelia Von Sorenn. Its purpose, as set forth upon its founding, was to provide Investment Capital, as well as the acquisition of assets in the Unknown Regions and their subsequent development. Though its owner remains closely aligned with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, she has shown a willingness to extend and develop further relations in the region - as seen by the Directorate being wholly operational and established within the Eternal Empire; as its primary Headquarters is located on the planet of Bakura. Its current presence within the Eternal Empire is minimal when compared to more well-known and established corporations in the region, though it is clear that there is a plan and desire to see further development and expansion in the Eternal Empire, and the Unknown Regions as a whole.
