The premise of the show is that a background sponsor gives a budget for you to purchase a home with it. Most of the homes showcased are in the Outer Rim, hence the name. You are faced with making a choice knowing the two options given have some marked discrepancies between one another, and both cost the same, fitting into the budget the sponsor attributed to you. Rumors are that the current sponsor is actually the estate of a Sith Lord killed on Coruscant.

If you decline both options, you return from the show empty-handed.
