Out on the Town

Bothawui: ArmaTech Headquarters

The spire that was ArmaTech Headquarters towered over the rest of the buildings in the city, stuck off away from the capital of the planet. It was better that way. I was expecting someone, that Twi’Lek I had forged a sword for to arrive shortly and so I had decided to put off lunch until she arrived. That would give me something to do and have an excuse to drag her along on the little trip.

The office was bare, a simple black table, a high backed red coushined chair and a pair of comfortable black chairs before the desk. The panoramic window was fake, a massive high definition viewscreen and two meters of armor plating. Even the floor the office was on was fake, resting on the fourth floor even though it was listed as on the one hundred sixtieth. Even the turbolift slowed to make it seem as though it was that far up.

When Stardust gets here, send her up and have the limousine prepped. I am thinking of going to a steak house for lunch today.” The secretary nodded and the door closed. Only waiting was left.

Stardust sighed and got off a speeder she bought and walked duo to the entrance of the tower

I'm here to see [member="Draco Vereen"]"she said, she was then directed to the turbolift and was sent to, the ride was slow and steady until she got to the floor and exited smikinf"afternoon Draco

I looked up at the green twi’lek, with a wry smile. “Good afternoon Star.” I said standing from the red chair I sat in respectfully. “Please make yourself comfortable.” I motioned to the comfortable black chair in front of the desk. “You look lovely as usual.

Clicking a button on the desk, the holoterminal deactivated, the holographic screen minimizing out of sight. “Can I offer you a drink?” The window remained busy, made to appear as though the room was on the one hundred sixtieth floor.

I wore a simple black suit, the coat hanging up on a rack by the door and carried only a pistol in a shoulder holster and my cortosis Kal-Fett knife in a scabbard on either side. I never went anywhere without some kind of weapons. There was always one nearby.

Stardust had her new blade sheathed at her side as she unclipped it and laid it across her lap as she sat down

The usual uhhh a whiskey"she said as she looked out and awed at the sight before niding

She wore simple jedi garb juts something more say to wear then anything else"has a lot been happening?

I waved at a droid and a bottle of Abregado Rae Whiskey was produced in short order. I took a pair of glasses and poured some of the golden liquid into them handing one to the twi'lek and taking a seat at the edge of the desk. With a quick gulp i knocked the glass back and drained it, feeling the slight burn down my throat. It was good old fashioned backwater whiskey, just like I had enjoyed before becoming rich.

"So, how may I help you miss Stardust?" I asked looking down at her, and noticing the sword in her lap. I remembered the hours spent shaping and forging the weapon into something a bit more useful. "I see the sword suits you." I took notice of the new legs and the slightly different arm than before. What happened there?

[member="stardust"]

She watched dthe droid move around and smiled as he poured the glasses and took hers taking a sip

Well I was just thinking of just visiting and talking some...not much going on for me"she said and took another sip

Indeed I likethe bladr"she said smiling as she saw him looking at her arm and legs
[member="Draco Vereen"]

I raised an eyebrow at her, "I'm sure, but the blade is supposed to hit your opponent." I said with a chuckle. I was trying to make a little light of her situation without being insulting or hurtful. I had suffered the pain of being seriously injured and requiring cybernetics in order to be functional again. I set my glass on the desk and swirled it around a little, letting any awkward moments pass before continuing.

"I was just about to head to lunch. Why don't you join me. There is a nice steak house not far from here with an excellent TUDA Nerf Prime rib. It's one of my favorites personally." Twi'leks ate meat right? I couldn't remember, but even if she didn't the restaurant served salads and such as well, its not like she would be forced to go hungry and watch me eat.

I offered the young twi'lek my hand to help her out of the chair and slid the door open for her to go first, which would have several benefits for me.

[member="stardust"]

She watched him raise a brow then grinnes listening to him"oh I know...problem is finding someone worthy of such a fine piece of work"she said patted it as it warmed lightly as if it purred lightly "

I'd love to join you"she said with a smile listening"hmm I could go some haven't had any good food in awhile"she said smile

She took his hand and got up smiling, she went through the door and smiled as she looked back
[member="Draco Vereen"]

I let my gaze lazily drag up her body and meet her eyes as the Twi'lek turned around. "Go on, the car is waiting for us." I said jokingly.

Caught looking or not I didn't care. I was going to look at her assets if I wanted to, and so I let my eyes wander again as we made our way down the painstakingly long turbolift. It did have to act like it was going down one hundred and sixty stories whether it was true or not.

"The restaurant is rather nice, and I'll have us seated somewhere secluded, but there will be other guests there." It didn't matter to me all that much, people would talk if I wasn't partaking in a social life far more than they would if I did.

[member="stardust"]

She chuckled and got on the lift waiting for him

Sure she knew he was waiting, did it bother her no she was quite used to being eye candy to people and had gotten used to it

I don't mind other guest at all not much can bother me*she said, I mean her job consisted of seeing people and talking plus she was a drinker so not much bothered her

Once down and out of the Turbolift, the exit from the lobby of the building was just a short walk to the limousine waiting to take us to the little restaurant. I waved off the chaffeur and opened the door for the twi'lek myself and let her get in the luxurious vehicle first before getting in myself and sitting closest to the door in one of the reclining seats.

"Well, what do you think?" I asked her, making myself comfortable by leaning the seat back a tad and turning up the ac in the back on the master controls, and slipping an arm across her shoulders. I wasn't really asking about the limo, but I could have been.

[member="stardust"]

She excited and walked beside him holding her sword in her hand as she would be setting down again and didn't want to take it off again"

Think of what"she asked curiously "the limo uhhh well its good neve rbeen in one before" she said in which was the truth
[member="Draco Vereen"]

I listened to her, glancing in her direction as the limousine made its way through the busy city on Bothawui towards the restaurant I had in mind to eat at. The city was fairly busy, but traffic seemed to flow fairly smoothly. "Yes, it is a pretty nice vehicle. I like it well enough, serves its purpose well for me."

I looked at her legs. "But I meant those. They weren't cybernetic last time I saw you. How are they?" I asked, inspecting them closely, "How far up do they go?"

[member="stardust"]

Stardust looked out at all the vehicles an such, she was used to traffics nar shaada always had some type of it"must cost a lot

Oh these"she said as she patted them"their good not high end but I'd say in the middle they do their job"she said and rolled her pants leg up to about three inches above the knee"right there

@dravo vereen

I smiled at her, raising an eyebrow. "I don't remember how much it costs actually. I am sure someone could look it up for me, but I never cared to know." Money came in, and money left. So long as it wasn't more than a day's income spent at once on something, I didn't even notice it in the monthly expenditures. I was always making money regardless of spending, so I didn't care a whole lot.

She rolled up her pants leg, and I reached over feeling the area where metal and flesh met with my hand. "Hmm, your legs aren't so bad. I'd say they are beautiful actually." I said, flicking my eyes to meet hers. "Too bad we don't have a lot of time before we reach the restaurant." I said with a smirk, removing my hand as the limo pulled to a stop.

[member="stardust"]

She looked at him"it was free as it was a emergency pair thankfully I mean I could've paid it"she said, she earned money for all over some days good some days bad

She watched his hand and sighed as he could feel the difference in the warmth"yea not as good as real ones"she said and listened as she blushed deeply as she smiled and looked down "
[member="Draco Vereen"]

"Alright, come along." I said, opening the door and holding it for her to get out. The restaurant was nice, but it was hardly fine dining. More akin to a nice family owned place. "Two." I said to the hostess who lead us to a booth situated in the mildly lit back area of the restaurant. It was lunch time so there were a number of people in the building eating, conversing, having a good time.

There were holoTV's in the room but the booth was situated to where they were hard to see. "Please take a seat." I gestured for her to slide into the booth first, then slid in beside her rather than across from her. "Two whiskey's and two water's please." I told the hostess who nodded with a smile and walked away to fill the drink orders for now.

[member="stardust"]

OK I'm coming"she said as she waited for him to slide out then ducked as he held the door open her eyes adjusting to the light, she looked around the restaurant seeing it busy she smiled and filled @draci vereen to the table listening to different conversations

She nodded as she could see enot many would even be able to see them"if thank you"she said and slid inside, she notice she slid beside her and smiled big at him"ahhh whiskey nice nice"she said smiling"

I nodded, brushing her lekku off her shoulder and slipping my arm around her shoulders twisting in her direction some, "Nothing wrong with enjoying a strong drink in the middle of the day with good company." Of course we had had another one back at my office, but one more didn't hurt someone my size.

I cast my focus on her eyes, starring into them, "So, tell me what did a beautiful young twi'lek do to get in a fight that cost you so much." I was genuinely curious. I recognized she was a Force Sensitive, and I had given her a sword once, as well as hired her to help me hit a wedding, so its not like combat was alien to her, but I wanted to know details.

[member="stardust"]

She felt him brush herlekku off and reach around her feeling him put a hand on her shoulder"right righy a drink is never a bad thing especially in a social setting

She looked at him and smiled looking into his eyes"well I was fighting with the Jedi against some type of very dark force user,we were trying to save some wookie children on kashyyk from being sacrificed....most of the wookies had beeStardust stood abroad the doominator looking out a view port, this would be her new life she chose...to be a imperial again and follow how she started out

As she looked out and so the moon approaching and stood walking out of her quarters and out to where she would exit, even if she wasn't part of the main army they would need her tech know how and such to retrieve whatever er they could and use the base turned into zombies...anyhow we got to the center if the forest and we battled the ...thing...it ended up throwing its saber and cutting my legs off...last I remember wa sit dying"she said obviously having a some PTSD from it as she shook some
