Out in the swampland anything goes, alligator bait and the bars don't close.

The heavy rain drenched Oido and his small cloak. He slowly glanced up, staring out the roof of his temporary hut, made out of nothing but sticks and dirt. The opening in the roof allowed a surprising amount of water to enter the hut. However, Oido remained perfectly still and silent. He knew what was lurking outside. Unable to leave his hut out of fear...fear of the creature underneath the water just outside his hut.

(I apologize for the short post.)

(No excuses for a short post! Just kidding ;) )

Lady Kay had travelled to Dagobah for something that most wouldn't travel to Dagobah for. A vacation. She needed a break from trouble. She's had too many run ins with the Jackals and the Hutt Cartel, and it seemed that no matter where she went, they popped up. It was almost as if she was being tailed, or had some kind of tracker on her.

Regardless she bought passage on a transport vessel that took a special pit stop just for her. Of course the pilot thought that she was a real idiot, maybe even crazy, or maybe he figured she just loved the rain. In any case she was there and searching the swamp for some relief from the rain as it had started to downpour. At least her cloak was keeping her a little bit dry, but she needed a cave, or a hollow tree stump or....a hut! Perfect! Of course she didn't know that there was a big hole in it, but the hut surely had to be occupied. And so Kay approached and knocked on the door. "Hello? Anybody home?"

"Enter you will!" He said, shuffling over to the hut. Slowly, he popped open the makeshift door, staring at [member="Lady Kay"]. "Greetings. Welcome here you are!" Urgently gesturing for her to enter. "A predator outside the hut there is!" He quickly slammed the door shut, slowly taking a seat on the ground. "Business you have on Dagobah, young one?" He quickly produced a pipe, packing it with tobacco before striking a match, igniting the tobacco.

Guess she shouldn't be surprised at what greeted her. This was Dagobah after all. She stepped inside the hut and watched the little creature, curious about the hole in the roof with rain falling inside. "I uh...just came for a bit of a vacation sir. What sort of predator is out there?"

"Dragonsnake, there is." He whispered, slowly glancing up to the hole in the roof. "Vacation? Dagobah you come to visit? Foolish decision." He said, puffing on the pipe, circling [member="Lady Kay"] and examining her. "Aware of Dagobah's...inhabitants. Correct?"

Kay shook her head. "Not entirely, no. I was hoping for some peace and quiet." She eyed the roof again before looking to the creature. "Did the Dragonsnake destroy your home?" It was a stupid question, but there was always the chance that it was poorly built and that the rain caused the hole.

He stared at Lady Kay, slowly shaking his head. "Destroy home...Dragonsnake did not. Indoors you must stay." He said. Slowly, he took a seat on tthe ground, watching Lady Kay. "Knowledge of Dragonsnake, you must have?" He asked, glancing up through the hole, watching as the rain continued to fall. A crack of lightning appeared in the distance. Sighing, Oido turned back, his gaze falling upon Lady Kay once again. "Attempted to escape Dragonsnake I did, and succeeded."

@Oido

Well indoors was also outdoors, at least with the huge hole in the roof. She shook her head at the question of the Dragonsnake. "I have never seen one before, no. But I can imagine what such a creature would be like. And if it's half as dangerous as I can imagine, you are very lucky to have survived. Did you slay it?"

"Slay it I did not." He said with a disappointed tone. "Enter the water, you should not!" He said, slowly taking a seat on the ground, motioning for [member="Lady Kay"] to do the same. "What is your name, young one?" He asked, watching as the water dripped into the hut. "Possibly assist me, you could?"

She sat as he had asked her. Something about his species seemed to demand respect from others. Maybe it was due to their longevity and wisdom? "My name is Kay. And yes I can assist you. What do you need help with?"

"Leave Dagobah, I must. Assist me, you will?" He asked, slowly glancing up as a bolt of lightning was seen in the distance. The rain continued to pour, converting the dirt floor into mud. Sighing, Oido took a seat in the corner of the room.

"You wish to leave? I didn't come here in my own ship. I had a transport vessel drop me off. I suppose that I could contact them and pick us up on their way back..." Maybe the little guy just didn't like the place as well as he thought he would.

He gave a cold, emotionless stare at [member="Lady Kay"], his tone full of disappointment. "Put the pilot in danger, you will. Risk we cannot afford to take." He said. He slowly glanced up at the hole in the ceiling, slowly speaking once more. "Block you could?"

She raised a brow at him not wanting to leave when he said that he wanted to. "Well how else will we get off this planet?" Kay looked up to the hole in the ceiling. "Well...it'll be best to wait until the rain stops, so that we can have a look around."

He slowly shook his head. "Kill the creature, we must. Then we contact the pilot. Yes?" He asked. "Never been to Dagobah, mmmmh? Last long the rain will." He said with a somewhat disappointed tone. "Weapon you have?"

She nodded at the part about contacting the pilot. And then again with his question on Dagobah afte. But at his question on her weapons, she remained silent for a moment. "Yes.....I have two. Why?"

"Excellent." He said, staring at the makeshift door. "Slay it, you will." He said, before going completely silent.

"Me? What about you? Can't we do it together?" She wasn't so sure about attacking a creature that she didn't know, let alone killing it.

"Describe weapons." He said, slowly heading over to the door. Slowly, he slightly pushed the door open, stepping outside. He silently headed over to the filthy water, motioning for [member="Lady Kay"] to follow.

If she was going to fight a large creature, she didn't want her satchel to hinder her. So she took it off and set it aside in a dry spot, before pulling out her small blaster and lightsaber. Kay followed Oido outside and then showed him. "I just have these."
