Intelligent: Like most Verpine, Osos is very intelligent and good with machines. He can disassemble and repair a lot of complex technology.
Wings: Osos's wings give him the ability to fly for about twenty minutes at a time.
Hardened Carapace: His insectoid nature gives him a carapace that is resistant to lower power blaster shots, such as a pistol shot. He is not immune to them though.
Detect Radio Waves: His antennae let him detect and emit radio waves to communicate with fellow Verpine, and to a lesser extent, comlinks, though this strains him.
Weaknesses:
Hive Mind: As a Verpine, he grew up with a hive intelligence, and as a result, prefers to work with others rather than alone.
Detect Radio Waves: Because he can sense radio waves, Osos can be affected negatively by waves of the right frequency.

BIOGRAPHY:
Osos was hatched in one of the Roche asteroids that are home to the Verpine race. He lived there until he was age thirteen, learning to create and repair machines. He decided he was going to leave the hive and explore the galaxy. He left the hives on a transport ship headed toward the Mid-Rim. The ship arrived at a more backwater world, where he went looking for work. He found a ship in need of a technician, and signed on. What he didn't know, was that it was a pirate ship. After two years with the pirates he learned to love his trade. He was rewarded for his loyalty by gaining possession of the smuggler's Marauder class vessel. He still visits his old employer when he can.
