Description:
Since the civil war there has been a need for new armor designs within the One Sith Ranks, to meet this demand the OS Military commissioned the design of several generic models they could produce vast quantities of, and this is one of them. The Blastail MC1 is on the lighter side for a Medium tank, giving it good flanking potential in an armored column, which a cruiser tank needs. Named after a feline predator that hunts on Kashyyyk by inflicting often debilitating small, but repeated injuries on prey, the name sums up this tank well with its fast firing heavy blaster cannon, and quick bursts of speed. Almost entirely grey when it is deployed, that pristine finish doesn't usually last all that long in the field, it comes with basic ray deflector shield as standard but this still makes for a generic and simple vehicle all-round.

Medium tanks are often used in support of heavier armor, allowing the heavier armor to be the focus of the fire, while the medium tanks look to get around the sides, or react to breaches in enemy lines. Capable of carrying four passengers, making for a full squad of eight. The tank utilizes a standard AV heavy blaster cannon, with a decent fire rate, mounting an anti-infantry heavy repeating blaster, slug thrower or ion cannon on its hatch to take care of infantry or droids, which is manned by a manually exposed gunner. The hatch gunner does have some cover from the hatch covering itself, in that only his head is showing from the front at least when the gun is manned, and he's steadied by the firing mount, making him an accurate threat close up.

Typical OS tank crew inside each vehicle.
Commander: Sergeant
Main Gunner
Driver
Hatch Gunner
Any Passengers: Usually a Medic, Engineer, Spare hatch gunner and Recon specialist.

While Medium tanks are capable of flanking slower armor, they are vulnerable to the same from lighter tanks or faster vehicles. With angled turret armor but flat side armor, the blastail is more vulnerable in the sides and rear of its hull. It has some chance of glancing fire along its turret, when positioned correctly to cover the hull but leave the turret exposed to fire, also known as going hull down, and thusly extra durasteel has been added to its turret to make use of this. Its power cells and shield generator are located at the rear of the vehicle, in the hull.

Strengths:
+ Angled turret armor, able to angle its turret, or go hull down, and make use of cover.
+ Good speed, suited for flanking, and hitting weakspots of larger vehicles in the back or side.
+ Good rate of fire.
+ Cheaper than a main or heavy battle tank, usually getting 2 for 1 in most cases on the field.
+ Nothing special in the design makes it reliable, easy to operate and very cheap for massed use.

Weaknesses
- Weaker than a main heavy battle tank or even strong medium one head on, requiring about 2 for every 1.
- Tracked, not great for certain terrains.
- Little air cover, main gun can raise up but it is line of sight only, hatch gunner is usually only accurate when the air target closes.
- Slower than a light tank, won’t keep up with the fastest, and is prone to being flanked itself by lighter armor.
- Average armor and shield, weaker armor in back and sides of its hull, no special tech or advantages.

[member="Kylath Connar Amadis"],

The tanks you have provided are meant as a main battle tank. They have superior engines/Firepower/armor, and tech than what you are using. Since this is supposed to be more about quantity, than quality, lower the speed of this puppy to 100 kmh, and the weight down to about 35-40 tons.

You can keep this weight and speed if you can find me a RL equivalent of a Medium tank, with treads, that can have this much amount of weight, and speed.

Done and Done.

I don't think you'll find much tracked over 100 RL, some but they are ultra light like the BT BT-2 Model if you scroll down to specs.
I am instead using the chaos light tank tech listed as the reference point, trying to sit it on the medium/light side in between existing models.

[member="Kylath Connar Amadis"], Completely understood. I see this more as a tank that is meant for basic operations, and would be a base for what you could make in the future. As such, Start small, then work up.

As you have done what I have asked. It is now pending approval.
