Improvisation: Orvo Lekarz has the ability to think outside of the box, applying what he has available to the problem at hand. This ability, however, leaves him a bit arrogant, thinking he is always prepared for anything.
I’m a Doctor, Jim…: There is a very large distinction between what Orvo can do and what he can’t, and it is a distinction that he is both well aware of and has crafted to some extent. He is a Doctor, a close in fighter, and a fair hand in a gun fight, but he is no soldier. For him there are jobs where he excels, and then there is the rest of the world.
Orvo Lekarz was not born with that name, the person who he had been is no longer a reference in any computer system, having been recursively wiped out prior to the fall of the Galactic Alliance. The things that Orvo Lekarz did, such as attending university and medical school, have likewise been recursively written into the historical records of commensurate universities.
According to these records, Orvo Lekarz was born and raised on Coruscant towards the end of the One Sith occupation. He always excelled at athletics and had a keen mind. Very early on, he was accepted into a program preparing gifted children for futures in medicine, as he had been focused on becoming a doctor since a very young age. He graduated from this program and proceeded to attend the University of Coruscant, quickly moving through Pre-Med studies and into the then First Alliance Medical Academy. Upon graduation he did a fellowship at the Rhinnal State Medical Academy and then at the Lunis-Medix Medical Academy focused on researching viral epidemics prevalent since the Gulag Plague. Since then, he has practiced in many places around the galaxy, and is currently something of a concierge doctor, attending patients where they live rather than holding a specific office space.
The reality of Orvo Lekarz begins very similarly. He was born and raised on Alderaan during the war with the Galactic Republic. His family moved around a lot, as his father was a physician with the Republic prior to Alderaan’s annexation by the Mandalorian Clans. They eventually settled on Coruscant under the flag of the Galactic Alliance. Orvo did attend a prestigious program sponsored by the Galactic Alliance for children who wished to go into medicine later in life. In reality, however, this was a cover for a government operation to train operatives and assassins. Upon completing the first stage of the program, the identity Orvo held before was wiped. His parents and siblings were moved to a new location and memory wiped. Records of his early life were erased, leaving his previous identity registered as dead at birth.
Orvo did attend the University of Coruscant, and the First Alliance Medical Academy on a government scholarship. His fellowships at Rhinnal State and Lunis-Medix, however, were fronts for wet work he was doing on behalf of the Alliance. Subsequent medical work was often a cover for his operations, sent in years ahead of time to develop his cover, activated for his job, then eventually exfiltrated as part of Orvo Lekarz’s constant curiosity of what working in new systems would be like.
When the Alliance fell, Orvo Lekarz lost contact with his handlers. He had become a concierge doctor by that point, working as part of a team to provide both medical relief and cover for espionage and assassination work. Now he was essentially alone, his black funds untouched by the fall of the Alliance as they had been held in various banks and credit unions around the galaxy for just such a possibility.
For the first time since he was very young, Orvo Lekarz held his future in his own hands.
