Orrazerus Apocalypse

It was a world rich and ripe with life. But that life was dark and twisted, a mockery of what true life might have been. Orrazerus was so far flung and so isolated it'd broken down into a planet of primal wildlands with only one settlement, and one group to protect it. From the night creatures stirred across the surface, and explorers and hunter perished seeking to find glory.

All that stood was Orra. A last settlement protected by a handful of Rangers. A settlement Vassara had visited in her past life, saving their sorry skins from Dark Jedi Marauders. Today was a different story. Today she was here to end them, to plunge the planet into the darkness so that she might rebuild it in her own image.

A perfect Plague world for a perfect Mistress.

"Mistress Raxis, we are approaching the atmosphere, we shall land soon."

From her chair of plain steel her eyes flicked open and her brown crunched into a furrow. Yellow orbs shot fire across the bridge.

"Excellent."

The Xo'Xann the Hades was full of plagued beings like Xanther. After her rebirth her virus agent had been unleashed on the vessel and over Metellos. The result was twisted minions half natural and half spiny carpaces and savage mandibles. Some grew extra arms with scythes, some grew hardened armor on their bodies. some had died.
"Alert the others on board we will soon be landing."

"where shall we land Mistress?"

Vassara took to her feet, crossing both midnight armored arms in a slow motion. Her fingers flexed as the plans she had ran through her mind. every move must be calculated, so as not to tip off the Rangers. As much as her party was powerful, they were resourcefully. After all they had been the last line of defense for many years here.

"Make me a landing zone west of Orra."
"Yes Mistress."

The eight armed monstrosity bowed on one knee and turned, roaring in blood curdling frequencies. the mutated crew scattered and scrambled over the deck like startled imps, carrying out the commands of their Master.

Turbolaser batteries began to swivel, gear grinding as they locked their targets in. The Hades was ripping the sky asunder and wreathed in flame. Streams of fire opened up, impacting the ground with the force of hurricanes. Vegetation and earth crackled and scattered, splintering across an area several miles wide.

She had received crystals from here once. But she had sensed something else back then too. Now she was coming for it....

In my personal quarters I sat cross legged on the cold steel floor, if I was being completely honest the floor was more comfortable than the cot that had been set up in the room. Such luxuries were not a necessity for me, I had lived among the wookies and learned that what others considered necessary actually wasn’t. I had never truly outgrown that upraising by the wookies, but it had been so long since I see them. All the ones I once knew were now gone, never to be seen again. I kept promising myself that I would return to Kashyyyk to see those I considered my people but I kept putting it off. I had seen the news reports, the Mandalorians had attacked it. The three rocks I was focusing on rotating fell from the air as my right fist clenched. Too many times have the Mandalorian’s ruined what I cared for, and I was sick of it. How many did I have to kill for that pitiful culture to finally die out.

Rising to my feet I snatched up the green bottle that sat on the desk. A bottle of corellian ale, and I hadn’t been light with it. The liquor had just been opened less than an hour ago and was nearly empty. What I was doing was trying to cope with my decisions, I had done something that not even Shiva could possibly forgive… I had joined the Sith, if… No when I brought her back would she forgive me for the atrocities I would commit? There would be plenty, stumbling as the ship entered the atmosphere I reached out to the air around me. Increasing the pressure of the air I pinned myself to the floor till the ship stopped rattling. Not long after the door hissed open and standing in it was one of those creatures that Lord Raxis employed. To sum up their appearance took more than one word and none of them would be nice.

“Mistress Raxis says we’ll be landing soon.” The soldier said noticing the bottle in my hands.

“I’ll be joining her in the bridge.” I told the soldier offering him a grimace. I was no jedi, he would get no thanks for delivering the message. Could’ve simply used the coms dang it. I know he saw the bottle. Hand tightening around it I snatched a second from the cupboard slipping it into my belt. Liquor was more than just a drink for me… It was a weapon. That’s all I needed, I had nothing else to my name. Not even a saber.

Pulling myself together I tidied my white shirt and pants removing the wrinkles. Always wanted to look somewhat presentable to the Sith. It only took a few minutes to stroll onto the bridge where I stared at the back of Raxis. The throne she sat upon and the respect she demanded, those had been the days. Stepping up to her right and staying one step behind I bowed my head. “Your orders mistress?” My breath still stank of the strong ale.
