Description:

An ancient cultural instrument derived of the bes'bev and a few other odds and ends, the Ori'sol Bes'beve, or Many Pipes in Basic, is a unique and interesting instrument normally used by the northern Mandalorian clans.

The instrument consists of an air bag that the player blows air into and a series of pipes and chanters set along the bag itself. The musician blows into the chanter and inflates the bag, then uses his arm to squeeze air out of the bag and through the pipes to create music and tone. The pipes are played in peacetime and are noted for their use in war as well. In fact, at times the foes faced by the Northern Mandalorians have been known to flee or surrender when they hear the song of the Ori'sol Bes'beve as they know that only Mandalorians, and of those only Northern Mandos, play the instrument.

As with most things Mandalorian, the Ori'sol Bes'beve can be used as a weapon. When gripped by the bag, the instrument can be used as a type of flail as the pipes are both made of beskar and are made in the shape of a tapered spike, which is then sharpened. While not an ideal weapon, it can serve as one and many an unwary foe has met his fate at the slashing ends of a Mandalorian warrior wielding his Ori'sol Bes'beve in combat.
