As the Sith Empire's dominion crumbled, Thaelius, along with two other surviving Grand Moffs, recognized the impending collapse and devised a plan to safeguard the vast wealth accumulated by the Empire. Billions of credits were systematically transferred from the central bank to encrypted accounts scattered across the galaxy, evading detection by those unaware of the impending disaster.
Simultaneously, these Grand Moffs activated protocols that summoned select members of the Imperial military, scientists, engineers, and shipbuilders to secret redoubts on Mustafar and in the distant reaches of the Tingel Arm.
