The last of five children, not much was ever expected of Oriana. Far in the line of succession from the most prestigious titles, her upbringing was still sheltered and rigid. Oriana had the same tutors and expectations as her four older siblings yet would have none of the glory of titles or land holdings or vast military prowess.
Growing up sheltered in House Indupar, Oriana focused on studies and making what connections she could in the Indupar Crown Worlds. At age nineteen, her father arranged her marriage to Cyrus Drayen IV, a Duke on the planet of Dubrillion. The pair met on their wedding day, with Oriana moving to Dubrillion immediately, leaving her family behind. Two years following the wedding ceremony, Oriana gave birth to Cyrus Drayen V, cementing the legacy and Dukedom for the lower branch of the Drayen Dynasty.
Yet tragedy struck the senior Cyrus. Death came in the form of a mysterious shuttle accent on a diplomatic assignment to the Ec Pand system. Crushed, Oriana moved back to Indupar and a cottage on the royal estate. Becoming a near recluse for months on end, the noble woman finally pulled herself out of bed, if only for her son.
Now back home and in High Republic space, Oriana looks to make her own legacy and path in the Indupar Monarchy.
