...the Freighter came out of hyperspace in orbit around Dorvalla, a not uncommon sight considering the planet was a Lommite mining world, where it would seemingly hang motionless in the abyss. As it exited hyperspace the freighter, identified as the Marzoon Tide, would begin transmitting codes to one of the mining facilities on the planets surface located in the mountain ranges of Dorvalla...

...there was silence before the facility confirmed the Freighters authentication codes and then the Marzoon Tide would begin its descent into the atmosphere of the planet and towards its surface. All precautions were taken as Dorvalla was in the southern reaches of Protectorate space, the authentication codes were very authentic, and no expense was spared. As a producer of Lommite Ore Dorvalla was considered, from an outsiders perspective, to be a valuable planet and it would not be surprising if a small military presence was stationed here or came patrolling through the sector. All precautions were taken though...

...the Ore Freighter, Marzoon Tide, would descend through the atmosphere of the planet and down towards the surface enroute towards the mining facility it was to collect its cargo of Lommite from. Dorvalla, it should be mentioned, had few inhabitants besides those who were involved in the ore industry which meant most of the people living here were miners...

----

...onboard the Freighter he moved across the bridge ensuring everything was in order, droids were piloting the starship for the most part, and speaking into the comms Laith would have said...
"Alright everybody check in. We're making our final approach to the facility."...his voice was monotone over the comms..."Ensure you're ready."...then there was silence...

...dressed in his Beskar'gam Laith appeared ever much the Mercenary, the symbol of Clan Varad visible on his right shoulderplate, and satisfied that everything was going well he'd make his way from the bridge of the starship and down towards the cargo bay and loading docks where the others should have been waiting. Lighting was dim aboard the Freighter and the corridors were littered with rust, the Marzoon Tide had been an expensive ship when it left the shipyards but those days were long behind it, it was still solid though and was in no danger of breaking apart. As he moved down one of the corridors Laith even had to admire that the Freighter still ran in such efficient condition, it didn't have many problems aside from a few leaks here and there which caused condensation in the corridors...

...
"We're making our final descent."...he'd say again to the others as he came into the docking bay, there were docking ramps ready to descend once the Freighter had come to a halt, before collecting his CZ-836 Assault Rifle and holding it low by his hip in his right hand. He also came with a Heavy Blaster Pistol holstered over his left hip, a Vibrosword sheathed across his back with hilt extending up over his right shoulder and a variety of grenades. Glancing between everyone he'd only say..."Weapons hot. When those ramps fall we're all business gentlemen. We have a job to do."...then his gaze, hidden behind the helmet he was wearing, turned towards the ramps and he'd wait for the ship to complete its descent with the mining facility...

...could be one of those days...

The mandalorian had his grenade launcher at hand, it was an M-29 model, the heaviest of its class. Skosk wore his green, heavy, Beskar armor, he was a green tank, of pure muscle. His T- visor peered around, the mercenary was loading his grenade launcher with a fifteen round clip, full of explosive rounds. Today would be a huge pay day, if the mercenary survived of course, even miners could fight, especially on there home turf. A final descent into the mine began, it was a mountainous area, there was plenty of area's the brute could set up at with his long range grenade launcher. Explosions, they would definitely come, even within the depths, the explosions were made to not be powerful, otherwise the giant would cave him, and his counterparts in. Therefore, the muscular giant, went with debris rounds, enough to tear apart even heavy infantry, and enough to damage light vehicles if reinforcements arrived. Now it was a waiting game, when would those ramps fall down?

Cractius readied his blaster . The ore in this place was very valuable to home and a few miners weren't going to just take it . He had his blaster trained on the ramps and waited .

As the ship lowered through the atmosphere, towards the facility, Iris knew it was time for him to gear up. Luckily for the team of mercs, the old Ore Freighter was able to carry his multi-tonne battlesuit.

Beginning to load himself into the mechanical beast, Iris couldn't help but be excited, the few times he had used this suit, carnage had always followed. After sliding his almost bare body into the mech, the front closed, Iris was now concealed in multiple inches of Durasteel. Noise erupted in the cargo bay, as the suits Nuclear Fusion started up. Various lights and the moving of gears followed the Fusion reactors sound, the mech looked and sounded as if it was alive. It was now time to see if it worked, Iris took a step forward. The plating beneath where beast stood was now dented, but on the other hand, the mech worked. The sheer noise of each step was intimidating enough to make some of the enemies run, but if they didn't run, hats what all the weapons were for.

Now knowing the suit was ready for combat Iris spoke to the rest of the group, "I'll take point." The suit and Iris moved towards the front of the group, directly in front of the cargo door. The thick armour of the suit would stand up to most firepower that might of been lurking in the other side, if there was any.

Now Iris waited for his moment, his moment to create the absolute most carnage possible, and with aid of his group, completely ground this facility.

Robb wasn't sure which was the greater surprise. Seeing Iris Tyrad again, alive and well, or seeing him equipping a massive battle-suit. When Robb last worked with the man he had not only disappeared after their gunship was shot down, but he had hardly worn any armor whatsoever during the job. Yet here he was, alive and encased in several tonnes of metal and armor.

The other members the team included two Mandalorians, both of whom had donned full Beskar'gam and were heavily armed. The opposition was supposed to be fierce, not counting any additional Protectorate support. At least we're prepared.

Robb ran another diagnostic of his own gear: No harm in triple checking is there? His field survival armor was secured tightly to his chest and abdomen, protecting his core from most small-arms fire; His armored knee-pads seemed secure; His armored MAG boots which were operating at 100% capacity, thrusters and all; His blaster was secure in it's holster while his carbine was secure in his grip; His bandoleer was fully stocked with cryoban and "Frag" grenades. Everything seems as ready as it will be. Last, but not least, he lowered his Tenloss Warrior Helmet over his head, activating it's internal systems as it engulfed his head. The karking thing was heavy, but staying alive and being able to breath in a mine was well worth the wait. Thanks for the gift, Marik.

Fully prepared now, Robb readied himself behind Tyrad's mountain of steel, that suit would take the brunt of any initial fire, allowing Robb to maneuver around it and provide support on his flanks. Robb's helmet comm chirped as Laith addressed the team.

"Weapons hot. When those ramps fall we're all business gentlemen. We have a job to do."

Robb nodded to himself and gripped his carbine tighter. "Ready on my end, I've got your back Tyrad, just like old times." He stared intently at the loading ramp's doors, his father's words echoing in his mind: Better to do a thing than live with the fear of it...

...they all seemed prepared, ready for action, and as Laith adjusted his assault rifle he'd have spoken over the comms linking the four man team..."Alright Iris and Robb have point. Skosk I want you to fan out and do a sweep of this level. Locate a turbolift leading deeper into the facility."...which left..."I'll take up the flank behind us with the explosives."...he wasn't exactly a large fan of bombs but Laith recognized the importance of someone needing to carry them. In this case it probably wouldn't have mattered if they were to detonate on him though. If the explosives could disable this facility then at this range they'd probably vaporize the four man team without much trouble...

...moving over to an adjacent corner of the cargo hold Laith would take an explosive device and sling it over his left shoulder via a strap, he'd been assured that it was sturdy enough not to detonate on its own but the Mercenary didn't feel particularly reassured by this knowledge, then he'd have made his way back to the others and taken his position in the back of the group. By now the Freighter had landed, its engines powering down, and the loading ramps were ready to fall...

...the astrometric droids responsible for most of the ships systems relayed the information to Laith via the helm in his hud, counting down before the ramps fell, then with a hiss, signifying depressurization, the ramps would lower allowing the mercenaries to exit out into the mining facilities. As the ramps came down the silhouettes of various humanoid figures could be seen, miners and droids standing nearby, which would have caused Laith's grip to tighten around the assault rifle....

...he waited and then his voice split the silence of the comms...
"NOW!"...the facility had no reason to expect an attack, these were men expecting fill a quota, so the assault would be a surprise to begin with however closer to the heart of the facility the fighting could be expected to become harder. Laith took a knee after he'd shouted through the comms, allowing Iris and Robb to go ahead on point with extreme prejudice, he'd wait until the two of them cleared a path and follow with Skosk to help pave the way towards their destination in the mining facility...
