Tall, armored in all black and operating with Kel Dor breathing
protective apparatus on face. One single red lightsaber.
BIOGRAPHY:
Ord Mantell was born on Korriban, the child of Baron Do members
on the Kel Dor homeworld Dorin. Mantell's parents, force-talented body-
guards and soldiers for Kel Dor royalty, were promised knowledge and
riches for offering a child to the Sith Order. Whatever that occurred, Ord
never learned of his parents' existence. As he grew up in the organization,
he rose through ranks at a young age, becoming a physically gifted favorite.
Ord at an earlier age was tested harder in the Acolyte trials. His drive to
one day wield control of the Galaxy under a Sith rule carried him.
In his adolescent years he met a mutual pupil, Brium Tallistor. Although
at first the groomed Sith had distaste for the human boy under paranoia of
being shown up, he soon learned to portray a friend as he realized the full extent of
his counterpart's raw force energy. As the two grew together, Ord used a Dark
Side Force power to siphon the excess force radiating from his unassuming human
colleague, waiting until the right moment to strike him down like a true Sith would.
Twenty years after the two first met, their talents led them as assassins
and Jedi Killers to a group of Knights marooned on a desolate planet that
pulsated an energy stronger than the force-users occupying it. There Ord
discovered what he only read about in old moth-eaten books; a Force Holocron,
a holy item that had the ability to turn even the lowliest Sith into a great warrior.
Lost in the ambition of it all, Ord ignited his saber, and attempted to strike down
his oldest and only friend. There was a flash of light, and the many-sided
Holocron split open and seeped into Brium. Some form of wave went
through Mantell's body, and he was thrown backwards, gravely injured.
He crawled to safety as his mind lit afire, and did not return until days later.
When he did, the Holocron and Tallistor was gone.
It took many years and much effort to right the embarrassment
Ord self-inflicted upon the order. But one day he was no longer Ord, and
was now Darth Mortus. And Darth Mortus in his mind would one day
reap the end of the Galactic Alliance, the Jedi Order, The Empire,
The First Order, and Brium Tallistor. But first he needed to become
a Sith Lord. So Darth Mortus pursued all ends of the galaxy, tracking
down sacred texts and archives of the Dark Side to tip the scales
rightfully once more.
