NAME: Oraada Labre

FACTION: Ashlan Crusade

RANK: Jedi Knight

SPECIES: Togruta

AGE: Mid-20s

SEX: Cisgendered Female

HEIGHT: 5'7" (not including montrals)

WEIGHT: Generally average

EYES: Blue

HAIR: N/A

SKIN: Warm tan with pale markings

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
+Compassionate: Oraada can easily be described as a bleeding heart. Where there is strife, she is there to lend her aid. If someone is feeling down, she often tries to empathize and diffuse the negative emotions.
+Faithful: Having defected from more moderate Jedi, Oraada considers her faith to the Ashla to be incredibly important. Everything she does is in the name of the Light Side and all that it represents.
+Dedicated: Most would shy away from difficult tasks, but Oraada believes enough in her cause to do whatever's necessary. If it means battling against the Bogan-corrupted Sith, so be it. Additionally, she is not one to abandon those she considers worthy of her dedication.

-Emotional: One of her greatest weaknesses is the fact that she feels more acutely than most Jedi. It could be sorrow, fear, or rage, but she does her best to ignore the bad in favor of the good. To her, emotion is only a danger if one lets themself fall deeply into it. Still, it leaves her open to manipulation.
-Thin-skinned: Another of her worst weaknesses is her sensitivity. While it works hand-in-hand with her emotional nature, Oraada is sensitive to criticism and anger. If someone catches her in the crossfire of their rage, she will certainly take it far more to heart than she should.
-Secretive: Oraada is not an open book. Even with her free-feeling and sensitivity, she does her best to hide and obscure how she truly perceives the world. Worse, still, is that she is never quite open about her past. The most that others know is that she was a Jedi.

APPEARANCE:
Oraada is a rather beautiful, tall young Togruta woman. Her skin is a warm milk chocolate-like tan, while white markings cover most of her face and pockmark her body. Pale blue eyes sit inside a dreamlike, rounded face with rather tame-looking montrals and lekku. Across those extremities are blue and white stripes. Overall, her frame is average, if a little petite.

BIOGRAPHY:
Oraada Laabre's life before the Jedi Order is hardly worth noting. She was born to average parents in an average situation. Yet it was the extraordinary spark within her that had her taken to the Jedi for training and protection. It was here that she learned about the Force, the Galaxy, and her place within all of it. For the first several years of her life, up to becoming a Padawan, she was wide-eyed and curious.

All of this culminated in her receiving a Master that would help her hone that curiosity for good. Master Skai'adaar was a believer in exposure to challenges that one would face as a Jedi, as well as preserving one's faith in the teachings of the Jedi. Oraada took well to her, soaking up everything she had to say. Her training went as smoothly as it could, although it would be shaken up soon enough. The turning point was when Oraada met a fellow Padawan by the name of Remelle Terrin.

While the two of them had been Younglings together, it wasn't as if they'd been all that close. Even so, when Master Skai'adaar introduced them to each other for training purposes, they became fast friends. Remelle was a young human girl around Oraada's age, bold and adventurous. The two of them became the bane of the Temple, always sneaking around and pulling tricks. By the time they were in their late teens, however, something changed between them. The Jedi Code often warned against emotions, against attachment, but...

No. It doesn't matter anymore. In the end, there would be no room for such taboos, as they were eventually separated by fate. Remelle ended up going down the path of darkness, while Oraada remained firmly in the Light. Eventually, however, after she became a Jedi Knight, something inspired her to leave. Something in the distance: whispers of a crusade against the Bogan. Following the teachings of faith by her former master, Oraada sought out the Ashlan Crusade. Was it shame from the temptation? Or was it her secret desire to show the Galaxy the truth? Either way, she fights for a higher cause now.
