When holding in the hand bare handed and using the Force Doppelganger power, the crystal warps the ability to manifesting a powerful, nearly independent psychic construct of its creator, capable of phasing through walls and inflicting physical and incendiary damage on opponents.
Keeping the crystal on her person uninstalled provided her with resistance to a number of damage types
Channeling Force Light through the crystal has a strong chance of weakening any Dark Adept's physical strength by half and can possibly poison their blood

Ghost-Empowerment: Not only does keeping it on her person provide her with a number of damage resistances, it also can imbue any weapon it is installed in with incendiary effects
Ghost Protection: Any weapon it is installed in can weaken a Dark Spirit severely, as well as weakening Dark Powers of those in its immediate radius
Ghostly Summoning: When Installed, warps Laertia's doppelganger into the likeness of of its maker, imbuing it with minor incendiary effects and the ability to phase through walls, as well as offer occasional advice about an enemy. Holding it directly warps the doppelganger even more, creating a solid psychic construct in the likeness of its maker, capable of inflicting severe incendiary damage as well as physical, being sentient and semi independant

The crystal enchanted by T'sid Surt'r, also known as The Specialist during The Reconstruction Era, Surt'r was Syd Celsius's immediate incarnation before being reborn as Darth Phyre. A horrifically powerful magic user and deadly lightsaber Master, Surt'r fulfilled a roll similar to the one Laertia Io did in the Marksmen. Taken from poverty and trained as Laertia was, and becoming as feared in her day as Laertia was, T'sid was tragically driven mad by a one-way Force Bond to Laertia that defied Time and Space. Seeking to find a safe reliable way to travel to the future, or bring Laertia to the past, tormented by visions of them bringing order to the galaxy together. Her experiments were discovered and her own master ended up killing her in the brutal duel that followed on Ryloth, where her remains were gathered and corrupted by the Mandragora heretics that were the first to hear the call of The Brain Demon.
