Her hand waved in front of her face to brush away an insect curious about his strange creature walking within the jungle. A hand reached out to push back a low hanging branch thick with full heavy leaves, shinning and soft to the touch, careful feet placed deliberately so not to make a sound found the floor of the jungle soothing to the skin underfoot. An avian cried out wanting attention from this strange creature to admire it’s plumes, most vivid in colour, but Coci raised her hand and shhhed to silence the bird who turned away most indignant.

A smile graced her lips, as she pushed through the last of the thick jungle to find the edge of the beach, before her a beautiful scene of white sandy beaches and small isles that shielded their part of the world from everything. The morning sun beats down giving much life to everything on the planet, and the environment drank it in with relish. No less to the creature that lay on the sand with his eyes closed, his chest rising and falling with each relaxed breath and his golden hair shining more bright then the sun.

Coci stood looking at this marvel of a man, her black eyes exploring all of him as if looking upon him for the first time, but his body is known to her, all the cuts and scars from old wars and new is familiar to her as her own body. Finally, she pushes her way on the sand, clad only in her bikini and sarong, until she reaches Thurion. She stands behind him, placing herself between him and the sun as her shadow casts over him. “You escaped early this morning”. She had awoke to find him gone. She looked down over him with a smile, it was good to see her beloved so relaxed, she was too and they needed it both.

She pulled her arms up over her head and stretched her spine, her body still holding onto the remainder of sleep, “I think I shall go for a walk”, she said not one for lying about but much prefers activity to take away the fatigue, she is Corellian, and it cannot be helped. Falling to her knees, however, she leaned down looking over Thurion’s face and kissed his lips. He had not moved the entire time, not a word spoken nor even a slight turn of the lips to smile. “I know you are in there”. She teased him with a gentle tickling of the ribs on his sides knowing this would win her a reaction and to add to it, Coci took off her sarong and gently let it drop on his face with a gentle giggle.

She continued on to the water and waded in until waist deep before pushing out with her arms to glide across the water’s surface, her black hair fanning out behind her before she ducked under to completely wet her body. Coci would continue until reaching the far bank to the next island, and walked the golden sands. Whether Mister Lazy Bones would join her was yet to be seen. She could hear the ocean, the waves crashing on rocks in the distance but in this place it is sheltered from them, and only the rivers run …

The warmth of the sun was suddenly replace by the warmth of his greatest love, and as his wife spoke his lips turned into a wide smile while his eyes remained closed. He was feeling very comfortable where he lay and was in hurry to get up anytime soon. That was, until Coci dropped to her knees to place her lips to his, to which his lips parted yet the rest of him remained motionless. When she then took advantage of his only weakness when it came to tickling, Thurion began twisting lightly while doing everything in his power not to laugh out loud. Fortunately she found it in herself to show mercy this lovely morning and instead took off towards the soothing waters. Her sarong sailed through the air until it touched his face, and only then did he open his eyes and sit up to watch her wade into the ocean.

He let out a long groan as he stretched the sleep out of him before carefully folding his wife's sarong into a neat bundle, not realising the wind would quickly undo his work the moment he left it lying in the sand. He got up on his feet and rushed after her, splashing into the water only to trip halfway through and fall face-first into the clear-blue sea. Immediately after he got back up and continued towards her, hoping she hadn't caught his blunder.

He soon caught up to her, as he was a very good swimmer having grown up on an aquatic world. If there was one element he truly belonged to, it was water - just like his brother belonged to fire, albeit in a slightly more direct manner. Before she could do anything to stop him, Thurion grabbed hold of her and began wrestling her not far from the beach they were headed for. "Got ya!" he laughed over the sound of splashing water. It was just deep enough for his feet to hit the sand, and after their playful underwater wrestling match he would scoop her up into his arms and carry her ashore, his lips pressed to hers.

She did not really have to see what Thurion had done to know he stumbled in the water the loud splash was enough to make Coci laugh. But before she knew it, she had been assaulted with him splashing her to which she threw up her arms to 'protect' he face. Such a silly thing to do considering she is already wet from the swim, but she fought back soon enough, sweeping her arm in the water to retaliate.

They were like children at play which was just what the pair needed to forget so much that had happened to them of recent times. Although it had been months now since Thrand had passed into the realm of the gods, and the invasion of Ruusan, they are both still very tired from it all, in fact it seemed to take longer these days to recover which only indicated their growing older in years and life experience. And even though this was true enough they would do so together.

It never ceases to amaze her just how strong Thurion is, taking her up off the ground with such ease and holding her firm within his arms. Such is the blood and strength of his ancestry and this too was in their son with abundance. Her arms reached around his neck as they kissed, as Thurion walked to the shore, everything seemed to vanish around them, it always did when he demanded attention of her love. There own world, encapsulated in each others embrace.

Reluctantly, Coci pulled back from the kiss only to look into his brilliant blue eyes with a smile happy to be lead anywhere he desired. Slowly their surroundings began to return to them, she turned her head slightly listening to the enchantment of the sounds of the jungle. Such strange and wonderful calls from the creatures that call this place home, it was oddly inviting them to join them within the thickets of the foliage. "It is so peaceful here, shall we go and see what they are chattering about?".

With his beloved in his arms they two ascended from the cool waters to the other side, where the beach remained as silky-smooth and white as the one they were just on. The sounds of jungle creatures both big and small created an eternal symphony of animal sounds all around them. When her bid to go exploring into the jungle came, Thurion set her down onto her feet only to keep holding onto her. "Later," he said just as his lips met hers, one hand placed behind her head and the other behind the small of her back.

He would then lay her down in the sand as the waves kept crashing into them from behind, and he began to undo the strap keeping her bikini top in place. Slowly it came apart, and he tossed it aside. His lips found hers yet again, only now their kissing had turned far more passionate and wild as the blood started pumping inside them, urging them ever onwards. Thurion's lips then left hers only to kiss their way down her neck where he would begin to gently nibble her soft skin.

"I want you," he told Coci as his lust for her took over completely.

She felt the pull on her body toward him, his hands holding her in place firm as Thurion's desire demanded her attention. Coci's arms wrapped around his broad shoulders and returned his kiss matching him in passion which grew as their bodies begun to sending fire through their veins. Soon enough, she felt the sand on her back as they lay on the edge of the beach but that was not what was on her mind nor his. The sounds of the jungle vanished, at least to her and they would be witness to two lovers in the embrace of physcial union. Even after all these years of marriage, Coci and Thurion love and desire each other as if it was the first time they touched.

As each item of clothing had been discarded and lay on the golden sand, his and hers, Coci would not answer his request in words but through her love for him. Her fingers gripped into the firm flesh on his back as desire grew stronger, she wanted him too and as their hunger rose they both lost themselves and gave into the will of the flesh.

Time was lost in this place, the only indication of time spent on the shore of the small beach was the sun which had began to dip toward the western horizon. Finally, Coci stirred from her resting place on his body, only now able to move. She pushed off him slightly with her hands plowed into the sand beside his head and she looked down into his handsome face and watched the smile forming on his lips as her movement disturbed Thurion. She smiled back before leaning in to take a small kiss from his sleepy lips.

"I like stealing from you", she jested with a whisper as she rested once more on his chest using her hands prop up her chin. "Have I told you lately that I love you?". The morning spent love making had done wonders in ridding the fatigue and years away from her body, Coci left refreshed of mind and body, so relaxed and in bliss in this place with her beloved. If only they could remain in the place, in this moment forever ...

"It's not stealing when it's freely given to you," he replied with a tired smile while they look upon each other. With one hand kept behind his head, his other began gently caressing her long, black hair. "I think you might've," he then said. "Once or twice..." Thurion leaned in for a deep kiss just as a wave swept across the length of the beach, reaching as far as their ankles. He would then roll over on his side, taking her with him just as he wrapped both arms around her. Their naked bodies connected from top to toe as he gazed into her dark eyes.

"I love you, my sweet Coci. You are mine, and I am yours." His index finger carefully traced her cheek down to her soft lips. "You are so beautiful..."

As he was about to lean in for another kiss, a most colourful jungle bird sat down mere feet away from the two lovers, its head cocked to the side as it watched them with great curiosity. "Hi, there," Thurion greeted the small avian creature with a chuckle. It soon took a keen interest in Coci's bikini top which lay in the sand at its feet, and began pecking at it. "Looks like he'd rather you stay the way you," he turned to Coci with a smirk. "So do I..."

The water from the river that the ocean fed was warm on their toes as it lapped around their ankles. She grinned down into his face, now touched by the sun and tanned golden like his hair. However, her head turned in time with his as their attention from each other was taken by the colour avian playing with her top, "He should be careful or else will become tonight's roast", she jested smiling back at him with the same smirk.

"However ..", she added standing up over him before walking to her bikini top, "You both have to work a lot harder then that, if that is what you both desire". Coci collected the top off the sand after shooing away the bird, who only bounced away a few meters from her before chirping at her. "Cheeky one isn't he?".

It was strange however, the bird seemed to actually be wanting her to follow him, bouncing way toward the thickness of the jungle and squawking. Coci watched for a moment before turning to Thurion with a puzzled look, not sure what he would make of all this. "I am either being lured or something is wrong", she said to him, half jokingly. "Come on lets see what's going on". The jungle parted as her arm reached up to push back the low hanging branches, there seemed to be an old path overgrown but still able to be negotiated. Tabaqui is still mostly undiscovered in parts, and still hides much secrets and treasures to be found. And they were about to find one.

"Nah," Thurion teased her. "I've had my fill for now..." He watched as Coci got up to rescue her bikini top, taking in every inch of her perfect backside. It became a struggle to not pounce her from behind, and so he too got up to do just that. His arms wrapped themselves around her waist as he pressed up against her backside, nuzzling into the side of her neck where he places a tender kiss before resting his bearded chin upon her shoulder.

But their desires were put on hold, for he too found the bird's behaviour intriguing. It was clear that it sought their attention with the way it chirped and indicated that it wished them to investigate. "Maybe we should get dressed first," Thurion pointed out with a sly smirk. "You have no idea how much it pains me to say that, by the way," he added before kissing her warm lips.

After getting back into his swimming trunks, which had all but dried out in the hot midday sun, he joined his wife in exploring the jungle path. "Paths like these don't appear on their own. It would seem this island was not always void of sentient life." It didn't take much longer for his words to ring true as the two stumbled upon the ancient architecture of what looked to be a temple of sorts. "Holy Helm..." Thurion blurted out at the sudden discovery before looking to his wife.

"Doesn't look like there's anybody home. Wanna go check it out?"

"No they don't", she said whispering fearing her words might disturb something or someone. The only being that was in distress was the colour bird, "But I think you are wrong, I think someone is home", she said as the bird began to bounce toward the entrance of the ruins, to which Coci sent a smile Thurion's way. She did not sense anything evil that much was sure but there was something inside.

"Yeah lets check it out, Grand Masters first", she gave him a swish of her arm and a bow to allow the GM to move ahead of her. As they entered, the light of day remained outside only daring to enter a little beyond the threshold but the bleed of light enough for them to see. Although both of them are all but naked and without their weapons, they do have something more important and powerful within their grasp, the force of course.

In one of the corners of the immediate room there was a sound of scratching and calls of distress, to which the avian that led them here returned call. Coci's black eyes, pierced the darkness, eyes of which she is able to see more then most from birth, made out the small body of a avian, with a broken wing. "Ah .. can you see it?", she said moving over to the avian that would be the mate of the male that came to 'ask' for aid.

Gently, she scooped the avian up in her hands and took it outside to examine it better. "Shhh", she calmed it, with her voice and through the force, easing it's mind before it would enter shock from the intrusion of what would be deemed a predator. Coci is a good healer, but Thurion is far better. "Do you think you can mend the wing?". She looked up into the face of her beloved with hope.

Meanwhile, her mate flew up to the rock on which Coci laid the avian and fussed over his darling.

Thurion gently began to examine the injuried avian creature, small enough to fit in the palm of his hand. The constant chirping of its mate sitting close by was no distraction, as he's had to maintain his focus through far worse. There was the time when he delivered a baby in the midst of the Sith invasion of Coruscant many years ago, amongst rubble and debris and without any tools to work with. Mending a broken wing would not take long for him. Still, great care was necessary to make sure it would heal properly.

His face etched in concentration, Thurion softly caressed the broken wing using only his index finger, and with each caress the Force would flow through him into the little bird, speeding up the natural healing process. Without realising it, he was humming one of Asha's tunes she'd sing for him when patching him up as a child. He didn't speak a word of Epicant, so he never learned the words to any of her songs, but he will remember their melodies to the day he dies.

Before long the injured bird started chirping happily and waved its previously wounded wing around as it got back on its feet, immediately joined by its mate who resumed its fussing. "There we are," he said and looked over at Coci with a boyish grin. "Now you take care, you two." Watching the two lovebirds fuss over one another before they eventually took off together into the jungle, Thurion wrapped an arm around his wife's waist and pulled her in for an embrace.

It always amazed her just how gentle his large hands can be as she watched Thurion heal the small bird. The feathers parting so slightly under his touch as his finger caressed the wing time and again, the force flowing through him, she could sense it, so strong and yet even in application and Coci wondered what the bird must be feeling at least in it's body. It is equally amazing that two such creatures would trust in them to come to aid, innate is the senses to them, attuned to the force through the living and so the avian had known of no danger in her or Thurion. It is a gift really.. such trust.

Coci smiled wide as the female stretched her once broken wing, as if to test it before tucking it up against her body, her mate's call changed, a song of beauty issuing from it's throat and happiness. This alone was enough for this journeys reward. She looked toward Thurion, his boyish smile only returned with one of sheer gratitude for him and as he pulled her into an embrace, she kissed his lips in the corner of his mouth, and whispered, "Thank you".

She turned her head just in time to see the two birds dancing on the rock before flying off to find their homes among the jungle tops. "You are amazing to me", she added as her gaze returned to him. In this moment however, a strange sensation began to take hold of her and through her eyes looking into his, he would see it and feel it. It is a heady sensation almost as if drunk to the mind and rationality and it was beginning to overwhelm her. Not evil nor good ..

Her hands reached up and pressed against his bare chest, forcing him to walk backward until his back would be pressed against the cool stone of the ruin, she had had no time to have seen it, the carvings on the wall, to concerned with the bird to have had, but now her eyes glanced over them. A smile curled the corners of her mouth, her eyes narrowed and slowly raised toward Thurion's once more and now she understood where they were...

"You have worked hard .. enough".
