Victory is mine!
Onias Delta

Date: 377

The people of Voss are a tough bunch. Being surrounded by millions of beings who simply want them dead has forced every member of their society to be soldiers at one point or another. They live their lives in fortified cities on mountain peaks just to avoid being massacred.

In an attempt to find a new colony world that they might spread too to avoid extinction just in case the Gormak somehow managed some day to overwhelm them. They sent out scouting ships to try and find a suitable new home.

Eventually their search led them to a world in the Wyl Sector. The system had previously escaped detection in the past thanks to a thick nebula that the system resided in. The planet they discovered would eventually be called "Sondara Prime".

This way, they managed to keep mostly up to date. The surviving crews captured were all executed...
Development Thread: Discovering Sondara Prime, Onias Delta, and their fleets...

Notable PC's: Dr. Ana-Reh Onias

History:

Year 378
Keeping with Voss traditions of security, the Voss wanted to fortify their discovery of Sondara Prime. The problem was, to properly do so would require the destruction of huge sections of land. Not wanting to risk losing any discoveries which might prove vital to both them and the galaxy as a whole. They tried to think of another way to secure their discovery.

Looking at the rebuilding work going on throughout the galaxy, the Voss hit on an idea. It would mean filing false acquisition reports to the many building committees. But eventually they were able to have a new planet constructed at the secret location under the guise of rebuilding a world destroyed in some long forgotten war. That world would become known as Onias Delta.

Construction of Onias Delta went on at a very good pace due to the enthusiasm felt galaxy wide for the "rebuilding of all that was once thought lost." The Voss used the planet building technology of the time to in essence build a super world where resources were concerned.

Year 423
Planet construction complete! 1st manufacturing plant and military base construction started.

Year 425
1st base of operation complete. 2nd base location started. The Gulag virus is shortly after released soon sending the entire galaxy into chaos, panic, and ruin. Many of the construction workers working on the 2nd base as well as workers now running the 1st base abandon their jobs to return home to their loved ones.

Year 426
All construction effort on the 2nd base is abandoned. Inside the 1st base, the few workers still present begin programming all the droids to carry on the work they started in their absence. Full details about desired base locations, layouts, equipment, weaponry, ships, droids, and misc. items to be produced are all stored in the base servers for the droids to access. Designs for a super manufacturing plant which would encircle the entire planet and simply be called "The Ring" were also downloaded for their later use.

All of this was left behind under what the droids knew as "The Prime Directive." Which stated simply to carry on with the construction effort of all stored schematics at their disposal as layed out by them the creators. 1st objective, was to reestablish a supply line with the scientists who chose to remain on Sondara Prime after they had all left.

Year 427
The last ships leaving the system depart, taking with them the last of the Voss workers on Onias Delta. The planet is now completely in the hands of the droids left behind.

Year 428
The last person outside the system with any knowledge of the Sondara Prime Initiative succumbs to the Gulag Virus. All knowledge of the project is soon lost.

Year 459
Prime Directive - 1st Objective. Mission Status: Complete. Supply line reestablished with remaining scientist on Sondara Prime.

Year 466
Dieing, Ana-Reh relinquishes command and authority to her first clone. A second clone is sent to Onias Delta to oversee operations there, and continue to build up military fortifications, ships, fighters, droid soldiers, everything. Sondara Prime would be responsible for the research and development of medicines and food production, while Onias Delta would provide raw materials, equipment, and protection.

Year 467
Ana-Reh Dies. The two clone leaders decide to give themselves additional names. Whichever clone is in charge of Onias Delta will henceforth be called Ana-Reh Onias, while the clone in charge of Sondara Prime will be known as Ana-Reh Sondara.

Modern Day
An archaic looking probe streaks through the atmosphere on Voss. Those sent to investigate, recover the probe and de-crypt the single message.

Sondara Prime Initiative
Mission Status: Complete

Further investigation into the probe brought about the discovery of the probes origins.
(OOC: I assumed the Silver Jedi would very secretly send in a team to investigate, as they are in control of Voss when the probe arrives.)

Major Locations:
Ring Visiting Center - The only authorized place an outsider might visit will be the visiting center on the space ring. It is designed for the eventual short term visits of corporate representatives, government officials, and even individuals to arrive and place orders for any of the many items manufactured here. Only authorized personnel are allowed to visit any other portion of the Ring or the planets bases below.

The visiting center itself boasts 70 docking bays for up to small sized capital ships. There are 1,000 rooms available for rent for short stays. The centers boasts a large bar/lounge, and casino for it's guests to be able to find some distraction if they are waiting for business meetings or transactions to take place. Otherwise, there are a few dozen shops spread out in an almost bazaar like fashion. Here at the shops, people can browse for just about anything military or medical. Some more sensitive items might require special permission to purchase.

The whole visitor center has droid guards, turrets, and cameras located everywhere. Some in plain sight, while others are hidden. It is unknown how many droids are on hand at any one time.

System Features:
Despite it's slightly smaller than average size, it is much denser than most worlds its size. The reason for this is the planet has a much higher precious ore content. In fact, the planet was so abundant in raw materials that it was said to be impossible to mine it all. Those in charge of the project jokingly said, "You might as well just cart the whole planet away if all you wanted was the precious material within."

To facilitate the ease of mining, the Voss designed the world to be a volcanic world. A place constantly being churned up by volcanoes, and magma vents springing up through the planets crust.

On the Surface there exactly 360 bases. Each base acts as a raw materials gathering and processing location. They each also contain limited manufacturing capabilities of most the items created on the ring. All if which is located underground. The only thing visible from the surface, is the giant circular hole of each base that goes down into the inner workings of it's operation. The ring at the top is encircled with surface to space ion and standard cannons. In addition, smaller anti-air and anti-ground turrets finish the circle. A full compliment of fighters, bombers, ground troops, and support vehicles complete the defenses of each base. Total number of units in each army is unknown.

Most notable from space is the artificially created ring platform that encircles the entire planet. It acts as one massive automated production line for warships, fighters, heavy assault vehicles, battle droids, weapons, medical droids, medical equipment, and all miscellaneous items related to war production. The ring itself is protected by a host of defensive gun emplacements, long with 4 fleets. 2 used to guard Onias Delta, 1 for Sondara Prime, and the other is on constant patrol through the solar system.

Intent / Goals:
I wanted to use this system as a new power base for the relatively small Silver Jedi Faction to build off of. To keep things balanced though. The Silver Jedi wouldn't just be granted access to all the fleets, troops, equipment and resources. I had planned to have them try and negotiate with the two clone leaders. Ana-Reh Onias and Ana-Reh Sondara would at first not cooperate since they are expecting Voss to return, not any other species.

The Silver Jedi or whoever else that becomes involved would have to convince them to become part of the rest of the galaxy and come out of hiding. If negotiations are successful, that still doesn't mean they have a brand new HUGE army. All forces in place are for the sole protection of the system and thus would never be authorized to leave.

The system though would be a secured location from which to have just about anything military and/or medical ordered, built and delivered.

This is better than the first submission with them both jumbled together. As you mentioned in your PM you're worried about metagaming on your planet. I completely understand this concern. However, look at this entry a bit like Wookiepedia. You're adding to the lore and locations of SWRP. We do need some information about the planet. You can't really stop everyone from meta, they'll do it either way. Also, I would be worried about people merely deciding information about the planet for themselves and that can lead to hurt feelings.

Is there any way you'd be willing to up a good number of the information you PM'd me into the sub? Like I said, intent is not an optional category, even if its just two lines like "Delila is creating this planet as a source of a series of Roleplays between herself and Firemane Industries. In the future the goal is to dominion the planet and add it as a military installation."

Thats better. The only question I have about this planet : The population is 1 yet you mention a large army several times. Are they droids? Non-sentients? If they are droids/non-sentient please put something like "Droid Army Population : 100,000".

If they are clones/humans/aliens please include them in the count.

I have not worked out what the army contingent of each base would be yet... would it be ok to simply put unknown for now? If yes, the page is updated.

Thanks for updating population. If you could just fix culture. Instead of N/A maybe something like "Being a droid world humanistic culture has not been developed on planet." And maybe some other fluff surrounding it.

Secondly, you mention the Ring has a lot of defensive gun placements and "360 medium sized fleets". Thats quite a bit. If you want to keep that in I'd require a Dev Thread of 10-15 posts explaining how that works, or how its set up, or something similar.

Well, do keep in mind they have had hundreds of years in isolation to build up. But how do we go about the dev thread? Do you start it? Do I? Where? Why can i not just write one big post explaining it all? I think i missed something on how dev threads work.... >.>

Edit: Culture updated.

Alright, its been decided that 360 fleets is extremely excessive for one planet. Limiting your fleets to 3 to 4 fleets is acceptable. We are not here to approve any insta-military planets and sadly this is looking like it with such a number.

I will still require a dev thread if you choose to continue with 3 to 4 fleets. A dev thread can either by solo or with people of your choosing. In this case I'd recommend something from an NPC perspective or perhaps a scouting mission to the planet. Or even a story about the probe. Just something mainly about the fleets and the military centers.

I have no problem with the dev thread at all. Actually it could be quite fun. But only 3 or 4 fleets? They have a lot of assets spread over two planets. As mentioned in the sub, they had hundreds of years to build up. Not to mention, they have zero desire to roll out onto the galaxy. The fleets would all be staying put to ensure it can never be invaded. The clone rulers would never allow their fleets to be used by anyone else. So there is no risk of power playing.

However, I can see how 360 fleets even of medium size is excessive. Might I request 14 fleets then as a compromise? 4 fleets to form a square around the equator of each planet then 2 to cover the north and south poles of each planet. Essentially 6 fleets per planet. The other 2 remaining fleets, would be on patrol throughout the system.

Again, I am more than happy to write up a Dev thread to make this possible! :)

The fleet number comes down from a high authority than myself. The risk of powerplaying is there from a Faction who dominions the planet though. If done correctly, their dominion would cause that Faction to gain all the ships and possible use them elsewhere.

After the planet submission there is nothing stopping you from doing extensive dev threads, RPs and the like to slowly build up the fleet. For now though, 4 is the most we'll accept on the planet.

Huh. I'd love to see a faction try and dominion a system with 360 fleets in it. lol

Anyway. Submission updated to show only 4 fleets. As well as how they are deployed. Will start work on the Dev thread soon.

Your other changes were made. I just need to work on the dev thread. I'll be starting that tonight. My apologies for the delay. How many posts do i need for this?

Still a WIP. Sorry got busy with work and family stuff. Been difficult just trying to keep up with current threads, and expanding another characters business. Will try and get the last couple posts done soon.
