Ones does not simply Alchemy ?!

Ive always wondered how you would exactly RP out the shaping of an object through alchemy. I'd like to make an armor in the soon future using this method but im unsure how to writing out explain how it was made exactly.

Any suggestions?

Well you could technically go about it several different ways, a good imagery I've used has been the image on the Sith Sword page where the alchemist is pulling his sword out of the basin that he used to alchemize the metal, showing you needn't do crazy stuff like enchanting the molten steel - but it's all up to the writer so you could really do it any way you'd like.
