Public One man's trash..... (Rimward Trade League)

.....Is another man's treasure. The lost, discarded and forgotten can be a treasure trove of worth if one knows how to properly wipe away the grime or fix the right part. Some of these hidden treasure troves can be lost for years, centuries even, but when rediscovered, they can bring a massive amount of wealth.

On the edge if the Seswenna sector a Mule freighter was rediscovering one of these lost treasure troves lost to the centuries. Bright floodlights panned across the remains of a hull once belonging to a vessel of war. Now torn apart and scattered across the massive orbital junkyard that surrounded a barren no name planet. The systems dim sun glistened off the thousands of pieces of steel, ship hulls and other trash the stretched as far as the eye could see. The advanced fleet that arrived with the mule could spend weeks here without making a dent in the scrap field.

One man's trash, left for centuries and rediscovered by random chance, was now about to be someone else's treasure. With a little work that is.

It was never a problem for Kaia to help with some salvaging. The dark haired Mirialan Starchaser was always looking to help those out in need. She was a Warden of the Sky, that meant traveling and helping others. She had Corellian Dawn arrive outside of Seswenna and her own Pulsar was making its way there. She had heard tale through the vine of the Rimward Trade League that there was treasure to be had.

The Warden had just helped a lost set of travellers who were looking to actually head to the Inner Rim. She got them squared away with a bit of a Baobab Astrogation map, and set them up with a microjump to get them on the trade spine that'd lead them towards the civilization they thought they'd find in there. She was a Corellian, true, but still… Core was full.

Out here there was freedom.

"Pulsar to Corellian Dawn. Coming in for docking. Any word on the location of this find?"
Prospecting life was not all bad.

After what Polis Massa could have been, this was a relief. Salvage survey and wreckage charting. Allegedly, there were old capital ship hulls in this junkyard, and she would tag them if they found any, perhaps even salvage some of them, but for the most part, she would leave that to the Arsenian freighter. The Rescue Service could, and would, use old ship hulls, but their primary concern, as always, was safety.

It was why she'd joined the Service. She'd mostly avoided combat in the Susefvi Defense Forces and she hoped to keep it that way. Fortunately, the perpetrators on Polis Massa had melted away before their arrival, but they left the gruesome remains behind.

Almost an entire station was slaughtered by... the Maw? The First Order? The intelligence they'd received from Muk Moadda had been a wealth of detail, but it was... baffling. Had the Ren split from the Maw? Had they tried to renew the First Order?

Fortunately, that was not her job. She would leave that to the ORION holo-crunchers. The ship hummed slightly beneath her feet as they reverted to realspace. The salvage ships had already arrived and set to work.

"Nice and easy blue milk run this time," Vera said calmly to the crew. "Just like we do on Susefvi. Chart the debris fields, deploy buoys, and tag any salvage-hulls that the League could find useful. Tow others out of the way as we establish some travel lanes. This isn't Polis Massa, fortunately, but there's still plenty of hazards here. Pirates, erratic junk orbits. Anything can happen, so keep your eyes sharp and your wits sharper."
