SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
  • One Hit Wonder: Firing a single slug, the sawn-off slugthrower can fire a range of scatter shot, One ounce, or even five ounce slugs that can be sent down range with an average speed of 1,800 m/s with a one ounce slug. However, the 5 ounce slug maxes out at a speed of 1,500 m/s. While typically this gun will be using slugs, it can use scattershot rounds in which it will be much faster than your average scatter shot. Making it even more difficult for force users, to defend against with force powers, and even more impracticable to block it with a saber. The entire purpose of this gun is to just send the slug down range as fast as possible. In fact, the rounds from this rifle are considered Hypersonic. Exceeding speeds of Mach 5. This is mostly due to the usage of the force imbued within the weapon itself.
Weaknesses:
  • Big Boom, in a Little Package: Using higher caliber slugs, in a really small, fairly light weapon means the recoil is no laughing matter. If you can't hold onto this right, or aren't holding tight enough with enough strength to prevent the barrel from smacking yourself, then you won't want to use this.
  • Powered: As with using the force to have the weapon fire, its tied directly to the ability to fire. Thus anything remotely related to a Force Suppression, or Force nullification bubble will render this weapon unusable. You can't even fire it at all. Unlike Force imbued swords where you can still swing it around. This would become a glorified paperweight.
  • Drain: As with the weapon requires the force to fire, it takes energy from the user in order to send lead down range.
  • Fastest Reload in the West: While the weapon has to be reloaded after every shot, the speed at which the reload takes place depends on the user. You have to be good at being able to operate the breach shotgun design, pop the round out, put a new one in, then close it back up before you can take aim. Now try doing that in the middle of a firefight, against force users, saber jockeys, and troops with automatic weapons. With this in mind, the shotgun has one shot. You better make it count. Otherwise, you have to perform a potential dangerous reload, in an undesirable situation.
DESCRIPTION
Vigil is a Gunfighter, Gunslinger, Lawman, etc. As such, typically the man will use ranged based weapons before ever touching a melee weapon. Even then, he is no swordsman. He would be better off with using his fists, and hand to hand combat. As such, Vigil needed a weapon that could easily be able to take down a foe with only one shot.

Hence the one Hit wonder was born. All it took was taking an archaic single shot slugthrower, cut down the stock to fit easily in a thigh holster, and then imbue it with the force so that the slugs fired from the weapon could pierce armor, and if not, outright explode on them.

Just, be careful of having to reload. Having one shot means Vigil needs to take aim and make sure his shot is true, with the added drain of the user on the force in order to operate the weapon, missing a shot, or even a couple, could spell death for the user. Taking valuable energy from Vigil he could be putting elsewhere, and wasting time for having to reload a weapon time and time again.

Force shotgun. Neat.

That's It?: The weapon has only one round. Once you fire that round, you can either reload the weapon and take aim again, or just put it up.

For the sake of clarity, I think you would probably be best served consolidating these three into one as they've fairly related/rewords of each other in some cases.

Other than that, I feel you're good to go.
