- Always sharp! - Sharpened to be cutting at the softest touch, then alchemized, these blades will never lose their deadly edge. A lesson learned after accidentally alchemizing unsharpened knives in her parents' kitchen...
- Additional fun! - The blade is equipped with a gut hook, and a raking edge at the back of the blade for purposes such as scaling fish.
Ibaris has been delving into Sith Alchemy since the age of seven, when she was supplied with some volumes on the subject by her Papa in an attempt to draw her attention away from the lightsaber. The pre-reading done, she began training with her Uncle/Godfather, Jared Ovmar, who introduced her to the idea of it at the age of five, at the time without notification to her parents. Despite knowing the path this practice occupies, she continues to employ it, having become particularly attached to the motions after the loss of her Uncle, at age thirteen.
Far from a master alchemist, her progress temporarily stalled for a time at the loss of her Uncle, with whom she had such a close bond. It has been through the companionship of friends in the Brat Pack, and the joining to the cause of the Covenant, that she has become inspired to start doing what she knew best to help her peers in their efforts. Additionally, her experiences with [member="Maleah Talith"] in the art of survival and her training in the matter of beasts with [member="Quietus"] were particular influences on her decision making as to the first item she would create.
There is nothing quite so useful, so dependable when you're left with little to your name than a knife, whose purpose changes in the moment with use. Whether left to sink or swim and your boots are weighing you down, whether you're hungry and need to catch and skin an animal or sharpen a stick to roast your marshmallows, whether you need to defend yourself in very close quarters, this knife can do the job. The blade never loses its edge, and can hold up to numerous lightsaber strikes on the condition that you're not particularly attached to your fingers, but will begin to warp at sustained contact with one. Additionally, the handle being unalchemized and made of dense vosso wood is a great deal more vulnerable to such attacks - again, once the offending weapon gets through your fingers. Thus, using it against a larger weapon is not usually suggested, but people can't be controlled in most cases.
Comes with a nice belt-mountable sheath made of nerf leather.
