A RANDOM MASSASSI TEMPLE

Jak thumbed his blade on, and got into a ready stance.

Closing his eyes, he expanded his awareness of the Force around him, naturally sinking deepest into the plant life here. This was his favourite spot to be in the vast, ancient training academy - lush plant life sprawled in a healthy, random pattern, trees in the near distance, the several acre -large enclosure seemingly infinite now. And yet, too small. He yearned to practice outside, but held himself back, knowing that if he wasn't able to master the blade in here, he would have no chance outside.

He went through a few basic warm-ups, then began to slice through the air with earnest.

He didn't have his own saber yet, and so was (he thought) humiliatingly left with a training saber. But he didn't mind; as close as he was, he figured he'd get a saber of his own - soon...

Tarika walked the temple grounds with one thought in mind, sorcery...

She was the descendant of the greatest alchemist in the sith history, Naga Sadow.. as she walked..No glided...she did so with a great pride about her, as she walked up the steps of the age old massassi temple she smirked and headed inside with her focus keen and ready, as she walked further inside she came to her old apprentice #Jak Sandrow and smirked with an inner calm.

Last I remember you went by Elijah Rowlan, Jak.. she said as she gathered the mystical energies of the force quickly and felt her eyes glow with the electrical properties of force lightning, as she stood there she quickly manifested it around her body and sent out several streams of the stuff in a direct course of him.

You sure you dont wanna be my lab experiment plant boy? she asked with serious humor to her voice and grabbed her saberstaff off her robes and held it while waiting for him to make the first move against her.

"Yeah," he said, just catching her lightning on his blade. He grinned as she offered something to practice against. "Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhno," he said, swinging the saber with finality around to meet her side.

His attack was easily defended against, his skill was surprising knowing that when she first started with his training he was just some weak little runt still nursing on his mothers teet but now he was strong in the force... she felt his surprising strength and it called to her.. if she had the ability to drain it she could very well harness his force aura as well but she didn't.

as he tried to swing on her side she twirled her staff in her hand and waited for his own blade to come within range and activated the blue end of her own and initiated a blade lock..

Elijah....breathe he coaxed as she held his blade away from her body and slowly pressed against his own to push it further away... she was impressed and was very proud of him.

Taking the moment to breathe herself she stepped to the side and allowed her own mind to alter the course of their duel and sent a force push into his leg to get him to trip up and make a mistake.....granted he has more experience now and is better with a blade it appears but even the more experienced blade masters have bad days where they can and willl mess up their own blade work.

As the Force pushed against his leg, he turned it into a half-roll, landing gracefully on his feet, one knee jabbing forward, the other stretched back as a straight leg. A saber to his side, another hand balancing, he whipped his hands together, and, leaping up and forward, brought his blade down for a hammerblow on Tarika's.

He was no experienced saber master by far, but he knew his way around a good blade. That, plus his impressive height and strength, made him definitely an opponent to reckon with. Unless, of course, you were a Master. Then you could just dribble him against the floor.

Tarika watched as his hammer blow came at her and turned her own blade to the side and stepped four inches to the right and batted his own away, she wasn't a blademaster but she did know how to handle one and with this kid hammering away she would need to keep a level head and a clear mind and need to take every advantage she would know to take.

As she studied him she slammed her foot toward his leg to try and get it to buckle, she wasn't about to injure him, just needed to make him make a mistake, so she sent her foot hammering at his leg to try and get him to stumble, or make any mistake he could so she could take the advantage.

The second blow was, admittedly, unexpected, and he decided to take things a little more seriously with her. She was, after all, a little - but only a little - less experienced than he.

"If that's how it's going to be," he said, balling Force energy in his palm. "Then that's how it's going to be," he said, shoving the ball forward. Upon impact, the compressed air would explode, with the power of a grenade, only without all the little sharp bits or the burn-y parts.

(Oh really? lol)

As he compressed the ball she stepped back several steps and summoned the force on her own, as she smirked at him she spoke clear as day with an echo to her voice Sanctus Malicious suddenly a force bubble enveloped her and she smirked at him grenade as it bounced off her bubble and to the ground, afterward she dropped the bubble when the thing exploded and sent a volley of chain lightning at his knee cap looking to numb his leg and make him stumble.

He narrowed his eyes as a Force shield grew around her, stopping his 'grenade'.

This... was going to be interesting... He decided a more direct approach.

With a little - OH GODS WHAT WAS EATING HIS LEG???

He looked down to find lightning sparking from his knee through his leg into the ground, and he thanked the gods that plants had no nerve system. And therefore felt no pain.

He decided to continue with his thought. Literally.

From Tarika's perspective, her mind would be assaulted by a massive wave of green, as Jak unleashed his (kind of pitiful) mental prowess at her.

He was hoping to smash through whatever defenses she had. Then, once her outer shell had been broken, he would shatter her concentration by sending a cacophony of mental stimuli through her systems. At least, that was the plan.

As captain dipstick of the dipstick brigade did this she smirked and seen green in front of her face but easily shrugged it off and found his attempt to be laughable as she stood there, grounding herself in the force she smirked even more this time and sighed and found he was just too cute.

Didn't your mother ever tell you its rude to try and slice into someones mind with your own, Cave Plant? she comicaly taunted as she stood there and watched him.

He grinned, a little annoyed as his efforts were in vain.

"Then Cave Plant I shall be," he said, drawing on the plant life around him. They gladly donated their Force, and he began to grow a large ball of Force energy. Using the immense energy, he placed a bubble of his own around Tarika's, and then made it explode. Inwards.

About 10000 tons of Force energy thundered into Tarika's shield.

Jak wavered, feeling drained.

Watching as he did this she smirked and pushed her shield outward to increase the volume and output, the force thundered around her and sent pain through her body, but not something that would last but it did bring her to her knees and did hurt alot.

As she was brought to her knees she smirked up at him more and rose slowly and weakly but still rose, as she did she snapped her finger and sent a flame at his plant body and held it for several seconds, from there she let if dissipate and smirked evilly at him.

I see you have been hard at work training, good to know the weakling I once trained can now stand on his own two feet
