On Your Way to the Beak Leagues...I Mean Big!

othawui-On Board a Supremeus-Class Star Yacht

Gilamar had been planning this for weeks. A trip to Bothawui, home of Daw Motors. He and begun to see them around quite a bit and had even purchased a large shipment of the company's landspeeders. They weren't the most pleasing to the eye, but hey, if it worked it worked! With a chuckle he was reminded of the Star yacht he was in now. He wasn't usually one for such...luxuries but other large share holders...the non-Mandalorian ones, had wanted to make an impression. He compromised with this vessel and a light guard. He did have quite a few bounties on his head now, being a driving force in the momentum the Mandalorians had. It was an unnecessary precaution...

But that was another issue. As the ship came in for a landing at Drev'starn Starport Gilamar grabbed his backpack, holstered his Woebringer heavy blaster pistol he made his way to the headquarters of Daw Motors with an offer that he knew Shai Daw couldn't refuse.

@Shai Daw

Shai Daw stood in the ground floor foyer of the building. he wanted to give a good first impression to his new client, so he was now waiting at the end of the entrance hall, his arms crossed and a young bothan, his secretary standing beside him.

the building was leased to many companies, Dow motors offices operating out of the 22 story. through the bustle of people heading to and from work, Shai Daw could see @Gilamar Skirata and his companions walk in. he walked calmly up to the group.

"greeting, greeting" he nodded politely "i do apologise, i go not know the customary greeting of you people. Gilamr Skirata i presume, im Shai Daw. please follow me up to our offices where we can better discus business".

Nodding to the Ishi Tib known as Shai Daw. The smaller...man led him through the building to his own office. Honestly, Gilamar thought that he would have had his own office building with the amount of merchandise he had thought the man was selling. He saw his speeders everywhere now but modesty was always a good trait. Maybe it would keep him from turning out like the shebbs that held stock in MandalMotors. He inwardly cringed at the thought.

Entering Shai Daw's office he took a seat and from his back produced a bottle of ne'tra gal and set it on the table in front of him. "You drink?" he asked curtly.

Shai Daw looked at the bottle as he sat on the opposite side of the table "um no thank you"
he immediately regretted saying no, was it rude to refuse a drink from a mandalorian, he hoped he hadn't ruined everything.

the Ishi Tib took the glass of water which had been sitting next to him on the table and tipped it over his face. that felt so much better. he had started to dry out and now he was calm and could concentrate.
"so. business"

His eyebrow raised at Shai Daw when he splashed the water onto his own face. It was hard to remember that species like his needed to be...watered from time to time. Scratching his head he shrugged at the refusal. "No problem, more for me." he said before opening the bottle and taking a swig right from the bottle. "Ahhh...That's better. Nothing like a little alcohol to warm the system." He crossed his arms and nodded wisely. "Yes, now bushiness Let me be frank."Moving his legs to the floor he leaned forward, hand to bearded chin. "I want to bring Daw Motors to Mandalore. I'm willing to allow the use of some of our factories and atmospheric shipyards. I only have three requests. Keep doing what you are doing, and allow a discounted bulk price for the Mandalorian armed forces."

His offer was simple, and honestly it was...really good. At least, Gil thought it was. "And last but not least, allow us to sell your vehicles outside of Mandalorian Space. You could keep 70% of the profit from those sales and we use the other 30% however we wish. No questions asked."

Shai Daw thought long and hard about this. possibly longer then necessary. this deal would spread Daw motors on the other side of the galaxy. the offer really could not be refused. but Shai Daw still had a query on his mined.
"i except your most generous offer. but you must be aware that Daw motors is not a military compony. we will never produce military hardware."
when Shai Daw had started the compony he had pledged he would never produce arms, many of his products had been modified to carry cannons and other armaments but he would never build them into his designs.

With a chuckle Gil sat back in his chair. With a nod he spoke again, "That is completley fine with me. I honestly just wanted an easier way to get to your products. It saves you money not having to travel to us, and it saves me time, not having to wait. I can agree to no military hardware." After all, he had MandalTech, MandalMotors, and MCA to get him the guns, ships, and other things he needed to wage war...Not that war was his favorite thing to do. But he understood Shai Daw's concerns. The Mandalorians were often seen as violent war and warmongering and people have been roped into doing things they didn't want to for a long time, many times over.

the Ishi Tib nodded. the mandalorians deal was more then fair and would be very profitable.
Shai Daw looked up at @Gilamar Skirata in what could almost be described as a smile. "i hate stuffy offices, may we continue our business on the move. i would be honored to give you a tour of our facilities here on bothawui." he stood up and gestured to the door. "i think you will get a better feel for what my compony is about if you see it in action"

Shai Daw lead @Gilamar Skirata and his group back down to the front of the building where 4 SP land speeders were waiting.
"the speeder only holds two people" he waled to the drivers side of the speeder before continuing "you can ride with me, if your guards do not mined ?"

Looking over to the two Mandalorians that shadowed the man they both shrugged. They knew he could handle himself. The only reason they were there was to pretend that MandalMotors cared what the stock holders thought...But he wouldn't say that out loud. With a nod, Gilamar clapped a hand on the shoulder of Shai Daw and smiled. "I would love to."

"excellent" it was hard to tell if the Ishi Tib was smiling or not, or evan if he could smile, but ether way, he was clearly happy as he ran to the drivers side of the speeder.

after @[member='Gilamar Skirata'] was insider Shai Daw looked at him, mischief filling his eyes "here we go". the speeder took off with surprising speed, throwing Gilamar, who had yet to put if seat belt on, back against his seat. they made their way onto a main roadway, shai Daw weaved and swerved in and out of traffic. Shia Daw turned casually at the mandalorian as he finally buckled himself in "this is the SP, it is the fastest speeder we have developed and is marketed to the upper classes" with one hand on the wheel he maundered the speeder with such grace and skill as their speed increased "what do you think"

With a grin and his body pressed into the back of the plush seat he nodded to the Ishi Tib. "Great!" he said loudly. He didn't want to offend his soon to be buisness partner but the man's driving...was horrid. Just in those few seconds they had nearly died several times over. This was part of the reason he hated flying fighters and small craft now. The things were so fast, he couldn't keep up anymore!

the speeder made its way onto one of the small side streets, large factories flanked it on both sides. they stopped infront of al shed, the sounds of machines echoed from it and filled the street. already waiting was the two other SP speeders, Gilamar's guards and Shai Daw's secretary who stood their shaking his head. the bothan thought Shai Daw was a grate man, but he also felt like the Ishi Tib needed full time supervision or he would do something stupid again.

"this is our main factory on Bothawui. the offices are where all the boring stuff happens, this is where all the fun happens" Shai Daw looked like a little kid. he radiated his excitement about showing someone his factory. he was so proud of the place where is dream had started to become a reality. now his dream was growing and expanding. his secretary just rolled his eyes as he followed the rest into the shed.

inside, the loud buzzing and zapping echoed around them. their eyes fell on a line of droids constructing frames of cargo skifs
