Jake Travers
A modern myth
(OOC: Perfect idea for a new thread, or we can continue like this.)
I watched the man lift off into the night sky, disappearing fast. In hindsight, maybe I should have followed him. It would save me one massive headache. Looking at the wreckage once more, I took to the dark streets, hoping to find solace. Soon, I found myself in the undercity of Coruscant. It was dark, menacing, and closed in. But it was also quieter than the world above, and that's what I was looking for. I've heard about how jedi and sith can sense the presence of others. It was always a foreign concept to me, since I had never explored that side of the force. I sure wish I could do it right now. However, the only feeling I got was that of deja vu when a lead pipe smacked me in the back of the head. The last thing I remembered before going completely unconscious was my body being dragged somewhere, and somebody saying "Let's take him to the safehouse before he wakes up, we don't want him free to burn us all alive." It was then that the familiar feeling of unconsciousness washed over me, and I blacked out.
