After the invasion of Coruscant, those who escaped were hunted. Many had died in the attack by the One Sith, and more were dying during their occupation. Republic supporters were being executed. Jedi who couldn't find a ride off the planet were forced to hide in the Coruscant underworld. This was why Hasjo was here. He planned to regroup supporters, soldiers, politicians and Jedi of the Galactic Republic and find them a way off the planet. He had a ticket on the planet; Lost Cause. Whether or not they'd help him ferry people off the planet was a different question, and a much higher price. He knew where to begin. He would keep his distance from the Temple, searching cantina's in the lower districts. Some Jedi may have blended themselves in down there, and it was currently his only bet. The primary challenge was getting on the planet, and he had confidence this team of smugglers could get him on the ground.

Yusan was in no seedy cantina, no crowded market place, no he was sitting with a family who were good friends of his whom he had come close to over the time he had lived in the slums. No one would search for him, and no one would care for him anyways. He held no power and was for the greater part of the past few weeks considered nothing more than a traitor to the Republic. Best part about this though is the fact he even took to murdering One Sith troops in the dead of night with a single blade to the throat and never once being caught, how how it felt nice to watch the Sith squirm with a blade in them. [Corvetta Salvo]

Corvetta kind of had an idea about what was going on at Coruscant. The news had permeated the galaxy like a roar of thunder when the Republic's capital fell. No one had seen it coming and trillions of hearts were sickened upon hearing of the invasion. Though she had never really pledged allegiance to any authority, the pilot was somewhat bothered by this turn of events. The Republic had been good to her throughout her travels and she had considered it to be--more often than not--the better side.

And if there was one thing in this galaxy that creeped her out, it was the Sith. With that in mind, she had selected a hyperspace route that ran through Protectorate space.

The Lost Cause crew had gotten a job offer to carry a large volume of the volatile Rhydonium gas from Abafar to Coruscant. Suspicious, but beggars can't be choosers and they were eager to set out on the maiden voyage. Along the way, they had managed to more than double their profit by picking up a mysterious passenger.

Their passenger seemed nice. They had not asked him too much about his business, but he seemed to have good intentions and she figured they were likely helping a good cause by smuggling him into Coruscant. Poor guy seemed like he had been condemned to live inside some metallic exoskeleton for the rest of his life, and Corvetta was sympathetic towards him and almost wished he would change his mind about risking things on the Sith-controlled world.

The control panels in the cockpit pinged, signaling to Pilot Salvo that they were about to emerge from hyperspace into Coruscanti space, just outside orbital influence. "Everything level?" she called over her headset to her crewmates. Turning to face Hasjo, she gave him a sympathetic smile and waggled a thumb. "You still locked on, buddy? I don't think anyone would blame ya if you bailed on this."

Why had any of this been possible? Where was he needed? How long did he have until the forces that had snuffed out his home found him? Nothing made sense to him at the moment. A'donari knew that survival was all he could focus on before he could help the Republic or his fellow Jedi. The only problem was each plan he made came to a halt before it could be started. Sith forces were patrolling the skies and streets alike scouring every corner for his kind. Word on the underground was that many Jedi had been killed. More had been captured.​

Dirty gritty black Jedi robes clung to his tired body while the Blue saber that he had grabbed off of the ground during the fighting within the Jedi Temple still hung on his belt. It was conveniently hidden under layers of cloth just like his force signature was hidden from the world around him. Huge black eyes held large bags underneath while his feet continued to move him through the shadows. It was a slow pace but one he been keeping since the fighting drew him into the depths of the Jedi home world. The ship yards within the world sector housing the Jedi Temple and Galactic Senate buildings was not safe. Getting to safety would mean a long walk though a world of assassins and low lives looking to make a quick buck every moment.​

If there was ever a time in the world when he needed saving, now was it.​

 

[Kohai Drenn]

Kohai was running a systematic check of the ships systems. This was their maiden voyage, and it would be so embarrassing to stumble right out of the gate. A ping sounded from the cockpit, signaling that the ship was about to fall out of hyperspace. They would be entering Coruscanti space soon.

Coruscant... She had spent almost her entire life there. Only recently did she branch out into the galaxy, and when she finally gets an opportunity to return home... When news reached her of the Republic capital's fall, Kohai had no idea what to think. It just didn't seem real to her. Apparently the Sith had come and rolled over the planet. She couldn't imagine the destruction.

That was why they were here. Kohai was part of a small band of smugglers, bringing people and items where they need to get. In this case they were transporting some rather volatile gas, Rhydonium, as well as a person of interest, to the former Republic center. The poor guy seemed to have been grievously injured at some point, and was encased in some kind of life-support suit. I wonder if he'd let me examine him a bit... Get focused, girl!

Rising to her feet, the young woman padded lightly into the cockpit, replacing her sullen expression with a smile. Heavy mood or no, she loved the view of hyperspace.

"Hey, girl! All's in the green!"

The world he'd called home burned before him. It hadn't been long since he'd been activated, since all he'd ever been was shown to be nothing more than an elaborate lie. As order was brought, some fires still raged, those to stubborn to see that this was the only path to peace resisted, but all those capable of being more than a mere nuisance were dead by now, accept Jedi. Filthy beings sunk through every nook and cranny, hiding from fate. Hanging at his hip were three sabers, two were remnants of a time past, his own sabers from the order, cobalt blue blades now silent. In their place, a simple no frills saber with a blood red blade now served as his weapon of choice, it like the mask he now wore, were a part of his assimilation. He'd be going into the lower levels today, part of a mission to hunt Jedi that remained down in the deep. But they couldn't hide, not from him.

[Listeri Dalane]

Sparks scattered across the cluttered floor of a burnt Cantina, a man in a overcoat and a small hat lay sitting at the scorched bar counter. He was there when the invasion happened, fighting off 2 small squadrons of Sith troopers, along with the rest of the GIA. After the Sith had overpowered the planet, along with many others, he fled to the Lower Levels, killing small patrols of soldiers. His favorite bar, The Stargazer, had been razed by the Sith, to his rage. There he was, pondering his ways to get revenge on those damn Sith.

LORD ECLIPSION

The Sith patrolled the Lower Levels, seeking to weed out any of the Republic scum that lay hiding in the underground city. Eclipsion walked down grimy alleyways, entered destroyed buildings, searched through burnt files, but still found nothing. She continued searching, hoping to find at least some of the cowards that were hiding in fear.

Underground.

He had only recently joined the ranks of the One Sith and he had decided to prove his loyalty to the One Sith by trying to weed out the Jedi upon the planet. He hadn't found any Jedi, he had yet to meet a Jedi and fight them in single combat, but he knew that when he did, whether he died, or if the Jedi died, it would be a good day for him. It would have been a day that he had employed all of his training within the Force and his own lightsaber abilities to the test. It was the day he employed Form VII upon an opponent who would fight for their life just as much as him.

But he didn't want to find a Jedi on a planet such as this, well he did, but he didn't want to strike them down with dozens of soldiers with him.

Single combat was what he wanted.

He had travelled out several times a night over the course of the week to find Jedi, he was determined. This night was no different, and with his lightsaber clipped upon his black utility belt he walked the streets of the lower city and prepared to fight anyone who would try and get in his way. He even expanded his Bogan presence out to see if he could entice some of the more arrogant Jedi out to fight.

[Robb Killian]

Coruscant was the crown jewel of the Republic, the capital of civilization, a beacon of order and justice in a dark galaxy. It was a big black joke, the greatest lie ever told.

Coruscant was pretty enough when you were up in the clouds, but when you got right down to it, it was just like Nar Shaddaa. The city smelled of smoke and fuel, of exhaust, excrement and piss, of fast living and slow decay, or at least the under city did, The real city. The true heart of the Republic. Robb chuckled at the thought. Almost reminds me of home.

In truth, Robb preferred the rough and tumble trappings of the outer rim, at least there you knew you had to tread lightly. He had only been to the galactic core twice during his short career, and both trips had left him with a firm distaste for Republic space. Needless to say, he was far from enthusiastic to be returning.

But Robb had learned to look at the sunny side of things. It could always be worse. We could be flying into a blockade or a war zone. Oh, wait. He eased back in his seat, laced his fingers behind his head, and watched the stars fly by as the Lost Cause made its way through the emptiness of space at the speed of light. Robb had no idea why he found the turret to be as relaxing as he did, but for some reason this chair made him feel at ease, must be the upholstery. Corvetta's voice brought him back to the now.

"Everything level?" she asked over the headset.

Robb blinked, he assumed that the comment wasn't directed at him, especially since the last useful thing he had done was secure the cargo. Since then he had eaten, listened to Kohai go on about the hyperdrive for a while, until finally ducking out to "answer a call of nature," only to climb into the turret to relax instead. But he decided to respond anyway, he wanted to at least feel like he was of some use out here. He keyed his comm, "All's quiet on my end 'Corvy'."

[Davik Tren]

Coruscant meant home to Davik. It was here, on this bustling, noisy, polluted joke of a utopian planet that he had been taught to be yet another criminal who kills and steals for money. In his early life he remembers all of the fun he had playing with his old companion, Rukko, in the garbage filled rat heaps that littered the walkways and alleys. One always had to be careful not to tread far from home, as those that did, more often than not didn't come home for dinner. That's how the young spacer had lost his mother after all.

Now he was heading back to drop off some sorry refugee who had no doubt been cast aside in face of the giant galactic battles that were now forcing many to abandon everything they once new. And despite all of this, Davik smiled to himself and simply went back into the control interface for the communicators aboard the ship. Each link, he found, was secure which also meant he had done the job quiet and clean. With this realization, Davik leaned back in his chair and pressed the small button on the communicator as he heard the voice of Corvetta.

"I'm showing green across the board!"

Hasjo glanced over to the pilot, his facial expression masked by the helmet. Not that there would be much to look over. The Nautolans displayed emotions through their eyes, of which only amphibians could decipher. He answered [member="Corvetta Salvo"], "Take me down there." The voice was synthenized, it was in no way organic. Had it been, it would have been stern. Hasjo had lost much of his bodily functions at the price of the Sith and their invasion. He was gunned down on the steps, something he would never forget. The flames as their licked at his flesh, shearing each layer. Cooking him alive before he felt those three thuds against his chest. Dropping him. He shook his head, dispelling the memories from his mind. He only wanted to get onto the surface, to find those that remained behind. Those that hid for fear of their own lives. He was the former Jedi Temple Guard at Coruscant, it had been his duty to make sure the Temple would never fall. He had failed. This would be his key for redemption. To help those that needed it, to get them off-planet. It would be dangerous down there.

A'donari's dark cloaked silhouette moved down the alley way. Darkness clung to his body from all angles. Soft footsteps brought him closer and closer to the feeling of the dark side pulsating out to him. Each pulse sending a feeling through his body that called for him to take guard against the energy and thoughts. It was the way of fear. Did it seem like the right thing to do? A'donari knew his options were limited but this was still the Jedi home world. The people of this planet would not be punished for the ways of his people.​

The energy grew closer and closer until A'donari saw the shadow approaching down the road in front of him. A'donari remained comfortable taking each step forward knowing that his force signature was hidden to all. Soon the person was in speaking distance, "Good evening. You look lost. Can I help you find your way young friend?"​

He stopped walking down the road and looked at A'donari Cinn. He didn't know him for a Jedi, but he continued to watch him with his frosty gaze. How should he approach this? He unclipped his lightsaber in response to the man who would challenge him. "Get out of the way, civilian." He bit out, refraining from just blindly attacking the being.

He took more steps forwards towards him though, he meant to walk right past him since he didn't sense his force signature, but he would fight if he had to.

The words of the Sith in front of him fell upon deaf emotions.​

A'donari, with his arms by his side, remained perfectly still in front of the Sith. His pace showed that he was trying to walk past the pesky man refusing to mind his own business.​

"And what are you going to do if this world refuses to bend at your will? You lust after the thrill of spreading your hatred. It is you who are in the way. In the way of peace and life due to your selfish darkness that you see as your precious gift. Leave now before this world rises against you. It was not only the Jedi you hurt here. Families, friends, and allies died at your hands. Do you think this will go without retaliation by the countless individual circumstances of pain you've caused?" A'donari's words still calm and controlled. The way he would state simple facts to a child.​

He stopped walking and looked at the figure ahead of him. "How many times has this planet been attacked? If this world was going to rise, it would've when it was attacked. Peace and life? there is no peace, when a baby is born. There is suffering before life comes. New life. You say I stand in the way? And if there were no Sith, do you the galaxy would be at peace? No. There will always be that inexplicable shadow on the fringes of the light. It is only a matter of time until it overshadows the light."

His fists clenched several times. He anticipated this fight.

"Lust after hatred? You don't know me, Jidai. There will be people who retaliate, they are called dead people."

[Corvetta Salvo]

All responses from her mates were in the affirmative, and Corvetta gripped the yoke in preparation of their emergence from hyperspace. The pilot chuckled upon hearing 'Corvy'. It had been a long time since anyone else had called her that.

"Well, if you're sure, then you're sure, I guess," she murmured to Hasjo, still thinking he was playing things a little too risky. Then again, she was used to risky, herself, and supposed he just might know what he was doing. She shrugged and placed her focus on flying.

The inky blue light distortions that had wrapped around Lost Cause dissipated as the Corellian freighter exited its faster-than-light track and reentered realspace. Corvetta kicked in the sublight thrusters and set course for the hazy blue 'star' in the distance that was the planet Coruscant. As they drew nearer, the refraction of the atmosphere became less influential visually and they began to clearly see the world's true rust-iron coloration. She had visited Coruscant scores of times and memorized the view from orbit. Maybe it was just her imagination, but it seemed the red hues were a little more prominent than usual.

Almost with the proficiency of a chameleon, Corvetta visually scanned Coruscanti space while eying the scopes, watching for military cruisers. The orbital radius seemed mostly clear, but she detected a few signals. One of them was pretty big. "Frakkin' Sithspit," she muttered over the headset, spacer lingo running thick, "I've sniffed about five strobes to the ten o' and I don't know what that Krayt-sized son-of-a-banshee is to our two."

His words have given him away. It had been a risk that came with trying to sway the mind of the corrupt being before him. A continuous tremble pulsing into A'donari's spine grew in speed and pace due to the Dark Side wielder standing in front of him. The Sith was beginning to show his anger already just from the single question that A'donari had put forth. Tenacity and aggression were in control. Still a fight could be avoided if A'donari could remain calm.

"These are all lies that you have adopted. Throwing them at lonely citizens of the underground will do little for you and what you wish to accomplish here. The world that has rejected the peace within is given the chance to see what true peace is each and every day an infant is born. Peace is not something handed out to the masses. It is not an easy way but when the way of Peace is chosen then great things can happen. Your ideas of darkness seeking out the light bring you personal pride. You seek to control the emotions of pain that have consumed you. You don't see that there was never anything to control besides yourself. Those who caused you to turn into this were not worth this. They hurt you and yet you gave them everything. Your entire entity as a person. What you seek is still somewhere hidden deep within. You will never find it while continuing down the path you are on. Change your ways and take control of the person you are. Accept a life worth living as the man you are and not the idea you have become."

A'donari's right boot hit the ground again sounding out the step he had just taken forward towards the Sith. Another followed by another moved him through the dark air towards the man less than ten feet from him.

No civilian would stand up to a Sith how this man was, no civilian would be able to hide their presence from the Force. For the sole fact that this man didn't have a force present, triggered in his mind that he was a Jedi, a powerful one to have done such a thing in close proximity. Not to mention how he spoke.

Aeon tilted his head to the side with an amused glint in his eyes. "You assume...That you know who I am, know what I've gone through, you even think that you know why I became Sith. You do not, do not pretend that you do. You say I sought to rule everyone, and yet, I do not understand that I am the only one I can control? I understand, I also understand that that is false. You can control the ways of life of thousands, if not millions of people. Just look at the Republic that you fight for." There was a grin on his face.

"You yourself just said peace is not an easy path, and yet...You persist in arguing? What do you hope to accomplish, tell me. I'm truly interested."

A'donari's blank expression underneath his cloak didn't change. This was the reason Sith and Jedi could never see eye to eye. The beliefs were to estranged. Different in every way except for one. They were prepared to fight for what they believed in.​

"I want to protect your safety. Leave this world. Run away; and never return."​

The connection he lived in reconnected with the last word that rolled off of his tongue. Hot white light shot from his eyes from within his cloak. It would be all that the Sith could see from underneath the hood. The physical sign of the depth of A'donari's force signature.​

He frowned when he saw the light, in the darkness it blinded him for a few moments, and he took a step back as the light shot out at him. "i'm glad you care so much." He replied drily and stood his ground.

Jedi were tricky sometimes; they would tell you why you can't win. Aggravate you, keep calm while you're burning up, and egg you on until you fought.

"No."
