Omega Pyre (OP) was founded by Cira on Fondor some years ago. Her organisation brought order to the chaos around that planet, and she became popular. Founded as a Private Military and Security Contractor, the company grew in influence and power, expanding to several planets and utilizing the Fondor shipyards and others to create powerful ships to further their spread, eventually splitting to become the entity the Protectorate while Omega Pyre continued their PMC work.

In time, Omega Pyre grew to be an area of order and security in an otherwise chaotic universe, gaining a reputation in the galaxy at large.

Currently, the Prex of Omega Pyre as a company as a whole is [member="Aeron Kreelan"].

Through interactions with the Galactic Alliance leadership, Omega Pyre is now under contract to serve in any capacity required by the foundling government. They rule in a corporatocracy over Fondor, Thyferra, and Yag'Dhul.

Omega Pyre FAQ

So you’re not just mercenaries?
No. While Omega Pyre is a Private Military Contractor (PMC), we are also a company with resources in shipping, Bacta, fuels, ores, and technology.

What are your goals?
Our goals are to bring as much of the galaxy under our protection. However, we are not a repressive regime. All planets are free to manage their own affairs with minimal financial and legal interference by Omega Pyre. The galaxy is a dangerous place, and OP is here to prevent the ravages of pirates, isolation and oppression. We hire ourselves out to other groups when the terms are right, and also accept contracts in bounty hunting, infiltration, data acquisition and mercenary work.

Do you allow Force Users?
Absolutely! We can both train and utilize your unique talents.

What positions and roles do you need?
Any! From pilot to medic to star destroyer captain to assault trooper we can take anyone and make them a well-paid, useful asset to the Pyre. We are here as a contracted PMC for the Galactic Alliance.

What’s the pay like?
We pay at 5-15% above standard market rate depending on who it is. You will also receive a proportion of the net profits from any operation if you work as a contractor, all subject to the current contract of the Galactic Alliance and any other terms.

How do I join?

FLEETCOM is the central command for the Pyre's naval operations throughout the galaxy. The primary location for contracted FLEETCOM at the present time while under contract with the Galactic Alliance is Sullust, with plans to migrate to other worlds as required. From this location, fleet movements are coordinated, new recruits and officers are trained in the basic and advanced operations of naval warfare.

Task Forces are the smallest and most common naval formation in the Pyre's contracted navy. The typical Task Force is comprised of one light Star Destroyer, two heavy cruisers, four cruisers, six frigates, and up to ten corvettes. The total length for a Task Force is usually around 12,500 meters, though some are smaller. Task Forces are typically tasked with specific goals and operations, such a hyperspace patrol or raiding supply lines, and are commanded by a senior Captain or Commodore. They are the workhorses of the Omega Pyre fleet, and they are usually sufficient to meet any demand.

Work in progress as a Minor faction we are only capable of fulfilling within a regulated capability. Will notate what is available to the Galactic Alliance for use, but typically this is only available for Omega Pyre Employees.

This is the Pyre's armory manifest. While the items on this list might not contain the total number of vehicles and weapons produced or available to the Pyre, these are the vehicles and weapons in common use by the Pyre.

Some things might appear more than once on these lists. These lists are meant to be a representation of what items can commonly by found in use by the Pyre's in their particular fields, so a dropship that is commonly used in both space and in atmosphere might appear in both lists respectively.

Minor factions are permitted unique, PC-captained ships up to a length of 1,000 meters.

Non-combat starships where maximum length per ship = 5,000m
Combat starships where maximum length per ship = 1,666.66m
Combat starships maximum fleet length = 12,500m
