Oh Jarven Where Art Thou?

On the twe'lik home world Patricia had moved her family into their new home, a rather large and spacious house with a few trees near a hillside.

To be honest it was nice to be out of the cramped and crowded apartments of antecedent and this would be Patricia's first time owning a real house. But this sadly wasn't a time to be happy, she had lost her job with the Ravens and was now working with her friends over at the rebellion. She wasn't going to get down with selectivism or whatever the hell it was called anytime soon but it was nice just to have security on this planet. Outside the house were dozens of War Dogs all patrolling the perimeter, everything was pretty damn secure.

She hadn't seen her husband in over a week and she had been frantically blowing up his phone to check up on him, but had gotten nothing in return. Was he hurt? Was he ok? She needed to know and she had to find out one way or the other.

"Erika baby can you get Kincaid ready for dinner? I have to call dad!" Patricia shouted to the other room for her daughter

"Sure thing mom! Erika's voice shouted back to her mother.

Patricia sighed and sat down on their plushy red couch where she had her first date with Jarven, hell the stitching from the knife was still there. So she picked up her comm link and quickly phoned her husband [member="Jarven Zexxel"] she hoped he answered this time.

On the planet Siskeen, Jarven stood on the ledge of a high building. He stared at the ground far below, commputer in hand. He was incredibly dirty, his face having the evidence of multiple unwiped tear trails. His eyes were bloodshot and his posture was hunched in defeat. Looking down at the datapad in hand, he stared at it. Nothing came to the screen for the five minutes that he stared, so he casually let it slip out of his grip and fall to the ground.

Halfway down, a call came in from Patricia. Soon after, the commputer hit a garbage can and clattered to the ground. Although quite damaged, the commputer accepted the call for 5 seconds before dying. At the point of the commputer reaching critical condition, a distress beacon pinged out his location for the amount of time that the commputer was operational. With these two leads, [member="Patricia Susan Garter"] could find out where he was.

Jarven continued to stare dead-eyed at the ground below.

Patricia threw down her commlink in frustration and let out a light sound of frustration as she rolled her eyes clearly upset over her husband not taking her calls. So she did what any pissed off ex republic agent would do, she was going to track down her husband, slap him, then kiss him harder than she ever had once she knew he was safe. So she quickly took the data she was quickly given from her data logger and began to run the trace on what the signal had pinpointed.

"Alright, we can play that game." she said having a heading of where to go.

She picked up her phone and quickly dialed a number of her assistant who she promptly had come over to baby sit the kids for a bit. Patricia talked to the kids gave them all goodnight kisses then promptly left.

In her Katar class frigate she loaded up the coordinates of the planet and let out a sigh of frustration, Jarven more than likely wouldn't be at that spot but it would be a good place to start looking. The frigate made the jump and in a few hours found itself outside of Siskeen's orbit. It was going to be tricky to find her husband but she would think of something.

He didn't have the guts to jump. Maybe something was holding him back or maybe he didn't deserve to end it all so fast. Maybe a slow, painful death was what he deserved for some tragedy he had caused in the past. Besides, if he jumped, he might land on someone, and he didn't want to cause anything like that. He stepped off of the ledge and lay on the ground against the wall. He simply gave up, dehydration and hunger clawing at his pitiful existence.

He fell asleep right there. The inside of his armor would do a good enough job for a bed. When it was time to wake up, he wasn't motivated enough to get up. So, he would stay and lay there until the sun came out. Then, he got up and walked to another piece of shade on top of the rooftop...waiting....

Patricia moved to her personal shuttle in the hanger of the corvette and wore her classic little red dress and heels that made her two inches taller than she really was. She liked to have her profile read as five foot two but in reality out of the heels and armor she was barely five feet tall. And really only her husband knew that and she was quite intent on finding the man and taking him back home.

The shuttle dusted off and pushed into the blackness of space, but that was quickly out of their way as they broke atmosphere. The hull of the ship rocked and the shuttle moved down into the fresh air to find Jarven. A good place to start was the last known point of the datapad. Patricia linked up her ARC units and pinpointed where the signal last came from on a map. She sighed and the ship touched down on the roof top across from Jarven. Patricia looked around and down at the street bellow, using tbd fire escape she climbed down and began to look through the alleyway.

She went through a garbage can where the signal had cut off and found Jarven's datapad. It was dead but the tech's could get their hands on it and fix it up and maybe track any other electronics Jarven had on him. She clutched the filth covered datapad close to her and began to cry loudly.

"Jarven!!" she shouted to no one in particular as hit tears ran down her pretty blonde face.

He didn't know how long he had been up here. His life was lethargic. He had no will. He faintly thought that he could hear [member="Patricia Susan Garter"] saying his name. He chalked it up to delirium, but the thought that Patricia actually wanted him and had come here to find him tugged at his broken heart. He involuntarily said in as loud a voice he could manage, "Patricia..." His voice, of course, broke and sounded garbled and the chance of her hearing him was slim.

She just couldn't hold in the pain anymore, all her life she had been told to not cry and to just deal with it. But this was something she just couldn't do, she missed Jarven more than anything in the world and she just broke down. She fell to her knees and began to sob hysterically as she clutched the filth covered datapad to her chest. Tears overwhelmed her her angelic blue eyes and ran down her face, some dropping and rippling into puddles. She wasn't exactly quiet, and she hadn't cried like this since Romeo died.

"Jarven come back to me!!" she let out another sob and slammed her tiny fist into a dumpster near her letting it clang.

She took a moment to sit down in the dirt and look at her wedding ring that was a symbol of their eternal love, no one had ever said losing someone as close to you as he was would hurt this much. Patricia just huddled back in a ball against the durasteel building and cried hoping that this was all just a nightmare that she would soon wake up from.

Jarven heard her voice again. Could this be reality? Is she really here?...What do I have to lose if she's not?...Jarven weakly tried to pull his torso on top of the ledge. His head hanging over the side, he yelled with as much strength as he could manage, "PATRICIA!!!"

He then fell backwards and slumped to the ground once more. This time, he fell unconscious.

Like a gunshot Patricia heard her name being called out by a voice that was as familiar to her than the back of her hand, she looked up and there he was for a split second before falling back. Feelings of both joy and terror shot through her heart as various thoughts came to her mind, she had gotten this position sent to her almost yesterday, he'd been up there for almost a full day. He could of been hurt, really hurt. Patricia quickly began to run up to the fire escape and move up it.

"Jarven!" Patricia exclaimed his name and moved up the stair until she reached the roof.

Once there she found her husband and the ship on the other side of the building touched down and a few medical droids rushed out. As the blackness took Jarven a feeling of warm soft lips would press down on his forehead and small but gentle hands running through his messy black hair. The Silly Sally medical droids were at work hydrating Jarven with an IV and running scans on his vitals. His head was elevated and settled comfortably on his wife's lap.

Jarven slowly regained consciousness on a couch. He was wearing a clean bath robe and he felt a lot cleaner than he had previously. He lethargically cast his gaze around the room. It was a nice place, a really nice place, but he had no idea how he'd gotten there. He tried to get up so that he could get his bearings and see if he was in danger. However, as soon as he extended over the side, his body gave out and he fell to the floor with a loud thud.

With a sigh of discouragement, he just laid there.

Hooked up to Jarven was an elevated IV on a stand, slowly it dripped electrolytes and other nourishing fluids into Jarven's blood stream to help him recover, there were a few bacta patches placed here or there on his body to help him along. There was a foul scent in the air, it smelt of burnt toast and other food. On antecedent Jarven did most of the cooking, and on days he wasn't around Patricia had just ordered out. But since this was a remote house outside of the capital city there was no ordering out and Patricia had to learn how to cook or at least buy more take and bake meals.

"Oh son of bit-" Patricia cut herself off then let out a loud groan of frustration.

She sighed and grabbed what she could of the food she had prepared for her husband, once she had grabbed his breakfast she walked into the den where Jarven had been placed and saw that he was on the floor still weak with fatigue. Patricia quickly bolted to him as fast as she could only spilling a little bit of eggs on the way.

"Jarven!" she yelled and crouched down next to him.

Placing the food near him if he turned his head he would be able to see a plate of over cooked eggs, burnt toast, and blackened bacon. It was a pretty depressing breakfast but she tried her best, let no one say she wasn't capable of trying. She quickly elevated his head on her lap and grabbed one of his hands holding it tight as she lifted it up towards her face and nuzzled her cheek against it.

"Why did you run off like that? Didn't you get my messages?" she asked in a worried tone

Jarven had been given enough hydration to, ONCE AGAIN, start crying.

He spoke through fresh tears and a trembling voice. "Me?...RUN??...You!...You ran!...Left Ravens!..." He started to get silent hiccups now, his body jumping and twitching at intervals. "Left me!...Why'd YOU run from ME?!?...." He couldn't see now. There were too many tears. Even though Jarven's demeanor was angry, his hand started to lovingly caress her face. He could never bring himself to hurt [member="Patricia Susan Garter"]...at least, he hoped.

He was still very upset, though, and his breathing came out in short gasps of frustration. His legs started to chaff as he resisted the urge to kick something by aggressively grinding them against each other.

Patricia sighed deeply at Jarven's words and could tell he was very confused about why she had left the Red Ravens, and well she was removed from the equation and sticking around Antecedent with their family just wasn't a very good idea whatsoever. So she just let her husband caress her as she did the same for him gently running her hand back and forth against his left pectoral.

"Jarven, Chiasa and I had a falling out and things just weren't working. She killed innocent people and I couldn't be a part of that so if was removed as Vice President and came here to the rebellion so our children could be safe. You know I love you and would never leave you." she said still running her hand against him.

"I was going to send you a message as soon as we got here, and I did and you just never picked up. I'm your wife, I am yours always and forever but staying on antecedent was not a very good idea." she said in a darker tone of sorrow.

She quickly moved from Jarven and laid down next to him, her small feet barely reaching Jarven's shins as they laid together. She placed her hands over her stomach and stared up at the ceiling of their new home.

"I don't know what I'm doing Jarven, hell I don't know if going like that was right, I don't even know if I'm a good person anymore." she said looking up at the ceiling

"But you know what I do know?" she said her head turning to look Jarven in the eyes, her piercing angelic blues gazing at her love.

"I know I want to grow old with you." she said with a small hint of fear in her face.

Patricia had always been young and beautiful, she was always the pretty girl in the room and the thought of losing that was frightening to her. But knowing Jarven was going to be there every step of the way gave her the strength to leap forward with him at her side.

Jarven was emotionally drained. He tried to speak up, but his voice could only manage a whisper after what he'd been through. "Honey?...Ganks age faster than humans...My old age is going to happen before your old age...Why do you think I bang you every night like there's no tomorrow?...That and the fact that we seem to not be able to have kids together....Anyway, I'm with you to the end...I'm the one who should be afraid of becoming old and useless, not you...."

He couldn't think of any more words to say. So, he let his love do the talking. He slipped his hands down the front and back end of her skirt and did whatever he wanted to. "I'm sorry for what I did to you...Please forgive me....I love you & the kids and you & the kids alone...If there was any way I could be with you for eternity, I'd take it...There's so much out there for us to do in the galaxy, I just know it!...If only we could stay young forever...Oh, and please take that needle out, honey. I hate needles. I wouldn't want something to happen while I make up for lost time...."

Patricia let out a little sharp gasp of air and arched her hips up for her husband, she quivered a bit at his touch and it felt heavenly. It had been a while since they had been together and she missed Jarven more than anything in the world, he was her better half and she loved him with all her heart and wanted to be with him forever and always. She had half the mind to slap him and deny him the joys of married life, but she would be a liar if the thought hadn't crossed her mind as well.

"I see someone is feeling better." she said with a little giggle the kissed her husband heavily.

"Kincaid should be waking up soon so be quiet." she said with another little giggle before taking his IV out and letting it happen.

One gratuitous sex scene later

Patricia sprawled out on the floor of their den had a glassy look in her eyes and was laying with her limbs sprawled out in every direction. She let out a sigh of relief and slipped her little red dress back on. Looking over at her husband she giggled again and in her afterglow and smiled at him brightly.

"Well, that was great." she said with a smile that could melt the hearts of the coldest of men.
