R U N N E R
Coruscant had changed, but Rorie wouldn't really know the difference. From what she knew, everything was as it should be. Laws were often broken, and people wanted to be good but couldn't be. She had learned quickly that good intentions weren't always the right intentions. But again, what did she really know? It had only been a short time since the skies above Coruscant ripped open with the bellowing faces of the old Sith ancients. That day, while others hated it, mourned their dead…
Rorie reveled in it.
Now, it wasn't because she was a sick and twisted Sith Lord who wanted to destroy the city planet. No, she was just a girl stuck in a private laboratory being tested on like some mangy mutt. Poked and prodded all day, thrown into pits against people she wanted to consider friends…
Those days sucked… especially that day.
Her fingers moved over the small keyboard she had managed to throw together with some scrap. The cyberdeck was easily hidden in her back; no one would be able to track it… or so she hoped. A lot of times, gangs didn't like their runners having too much information or too much access to it. But for Rorie, it was her gateway. She had been sheltered to the point that just being able to read a message from someone other than the kids she grew up with was the newest thing.
The holonet opened up a whole world to her… a whole galaxy was now at her fingertips.
Today, though, she was standing on the side of a building, literally. She was using the innate abilities she was created with to stand without effort on the side of one of the branching Jedi Temples. A small scavenger hunt by the Legendary L0ck3d_G405T (
This person was a legend in the small niche community; Rorie had studied a lot of LG's work, only to enhance her own. Some bits made the pup wonder if LG was like her, if they could sense the living soul in the machines around them. Shaking her head, Rorie only laughed; why would someone like that be slumming with a group like this?

In that moment, Rorie began to close the cyberdeck until she saw a small dot moving on the small map she had created using Coruscant's CCTV. Frowning, she wondered if her precautions were easily sliced through. She had done everything she had learned from that holotube vid.
There wasn't much time; if it was just one person, she'd deal with them.
A hidden door in the side of the ruins creaked open, and Rorie slipped in and landed on the ground, her boots kicking up dust.
"Alrighty, where are you keeping the good chit, Ghost?"
