R U N N E R
Urgency carried her forward. Rorie had just caught wind of something valuable and easy to strike. That was part of her job: gathering information as she wandered aimlessly through the streets of Coruscant.
It was easy to blend in; most people, despite her job, assumed the redhead was as harmless as they come. A charming little smile and a scattering of freckles often won her free food, or even a few credits to help her out.
Rorie learned quickly how to charm her way into what she needed. But that was by design; she was crafted to be unassuming, to lower someone's guard before striking. Those plans went up in smoke the day the Sith Covenant came to conquer Coruscant. A day that people often mourned as one tyrant replaced another. But for Rorie, it was a day of celebration.
She kept her step as she wove through the crowded streets. People were moving through the bustling city planet. As she brushed past a few of the better-dressed folk, her hand slipped in and out of pockets, grabbing whatever she could find of value.
Credits, jewelry, even a really nice pen. All of it treasures for the Lupo. Shoving everything into her own pocket, Rorie continued through the crowd to the alley that led to the entrance to one of the underground pathways. It was a vast network the Jedi had once used to disperse their order into the streets during wartime. She had remembered learning about the older Jedi Orders, how they functioned and their history with the galaxy. She knew things, but didn't understand them as a whole.
Learning and experiencing were two different things.
Still, knowing the labyrinth and its path made Rorie one of the faster runners for the Dead Shens. Her nose also helped, but she didn't want to give that little trick away too soon. Others would get jealous.
Rorie thought quietly as she moved through the sewers; she could give this to one of the lieutenants or even one of their bosses. But giving it to one of them would mean she'd lose out on the praise that would follow.
Shaking her head, she decided to take it to the new boss; she seemed more approachable… maybe?
It didn't take long for her to pivot and head toward where the new boss was supposed to be stationed. She climbed up to the surface and shimmied her way out of the gutterhole.
Heading into the building, she went looking for Lily, and when she found her, she grinned and dropped everything she stole… minus the really nice pen.
And the comm device that lit up with a rather interesting background.
"I lifted it from some white-haired girl; she smelled nice — like roses and honey…" Rorie mused happily where she stood; she swayed slightly, buzzing, waiting for the praise.
"I heard people talking; she's from the Sith Order, someone high up… important." She paused.
"You think she has nuna drumsticks in her fridge?"
