It had become increasingly more difficult for Lavria to follow the teachings of her master, and he sensed it. The directive was as much a test of her loyalty as it was another simple mission - kill the Queen of Naboo.
"She'll be vacationing in the Lake Country. It should be easy work for you in such an isolated place." Master Zul had said.
It should be easy enough if you were a Sith in the true sense of the word, but her heart hasn't been fully in it for a while. Not since Nar Shaddaa. She was wary of this mission, as her master's intel had been lacking for a while now - leaving her to improvise most of it and narrowly escaping capture or worse. She could not help but feel that this one will be no different. On the contrary - it was even more dangerous. But still, she complied - driven by fear. So she got in her fighter and left Dromund Kaas.
On the one side, Lavria was glad to get out of the turmoil which was Sith Space. Yet, the reason for her leaving weighed on her. But here she and Lars was, stealthily approaching Naboo nonetheless, on a mission that may very well bring down the wrath of her master if she fails.
Touching down in a secluded meadow next to a waterfall, she planned to make her way to the Royal abode on foot. As she disembarked, Lars chirped at her from where he was still scanning in his socket.
"What do you mean you don't read any comms?" she asked him, her brow furrowing.
He chirped some more.
"What?! You mean to say she's still in the Capital?!" she exclaimed, eyes flashing yellow. Her master had sent her on a suicide mission. There was no way she'd be able to pull this off alone in Theed. Anger welling up inside her, she sent an ignited lightsaber flying through a tree trunk with the Force. As the tree crashed down to the ground, she slumped back against the ship. Lars beeped at her from the top.
"We can't go back, buddy. He'll lose it." she said, her face in her hands. She was at a loss for what to do - stay with the Empire and face her master's wrath or run away?
As she sat against the ship, trying to quiet her mind so that she can see a way forward from this, she felt an odd shift in the Force. She couldn't put a finger on it, as she hadn't sensed its like before. There was some kind Force power in the vicinity.
