DESCRIPTION
Human Replica Droids have always been something of an enigma to the galaxy at large, always produced enough to have a handful of well-known examples of such but rare enough that manufacturers were hard to find and few between. The droid manufacturer, Onadax Droid Technologies (ODT), has been working on perfecting Human Replica Droids for the better part of the last millennia, which has culminated in a new model being released to private buyers, the ODT-ASN series of human replica droids, pre-programmed with a wide array of tasks loaded and an advanced heuristic processor to allow them to choose their decisions based on experience and choice rather than pre-loaded knowledge.
Only a handful of these droids have been manufactured, numbering in the tens, and they do not ship with weapons beyond their bare hands. Each unit is designed with strength comparable to other human replica droids, being quite a bit more substantial than normal humans, as well as other athletic and physical feats, none above normal for the average human replica droid. What truly sets this model apart from the rest is a better, somewhat more advanced, heuristic processor, vocabulator, and HUD. The introduction of an internal commlink and interchangeable Ultra Violet, Infrared, and Night Vision sensors in the droid's photoreceptors also allows for some other reasons to purchase this model over the rest.
As with most other Human Replica Droids, ion weapons are a source of weakness, while the frame of the droid below the synthskin is hardened from most normal EMPs, though higher quality and sustained bursts will get passed that and cause problems similar to ion weapons.
Each of the ODT-ASN series droid produced are manufactured with unique personalities and identities, meaning no two models are the same. They are not designed with combat in mind, though they are certainly capable of self defense or light protection for themselves or buyers, and were intended to be seen in a more relaxed role as either a form of entertainment or accompaniment. All of the ASN models are equipped with non-limited sentience programming.
