Strengths:
  • Durasteel: The durasteel plating offers more defense than the typical Duraplast armor employed by the rest of the Octarchy Forces
  • Armorweave Undersuit: The underarmor is comprised of Armorweave, adding an additional layer of protection against blasters
Weaknesses:
  • Heavy: The armor is quite heavy compared to the typical armor
  • Low Lightsaber Defense: Durasteel and Armorweave are unfortunately not resistant to lightsabers, meaning that someone wielding one could carve through this armor like hot butter
DESCRIPTION
The Commando armor was requested by Voph to protect his Commando units, and he took special interest in the design, aiding in the preliminary design himself. The result is an above average armor that excels at anti-blaster, but offers no defense against lightsabers. Voph deemed this an acceptable tradeoff as the Commandos are typically not force sensitive, and thus are not expected to go up against Jedi or Sith. Based on old Stormtrooper designs, the armor is meant to offer increased protection for the Octarchy's specialty units, while still matching the visual design of the existing armors.
