STRENGTHS
- Multi Vector: The Nynir sports several weapon ports across its hull at different locations, allowing for a wide range of fire. As well, the forward mounted weapon turret is placed in a rotating mount, allowing it to fire in any direction besides directly forward.
- Rear Gunner: Along with all the forward mounted weaponry, the Nynir sports a single rear turret station, allowing for a co-pilot to protect the rear of the vessel.
- Grounded: The Nynir lacks a hyperdrive system, preventing the gunship from travelling to different systems on its own. It is forced to rely on other vessels to transport it between systems.
- Forward: Due to the engine configuration of the Nynir, it is incapable of hovering in a stationary position, and must constantly move forward. This prevents the gunship from concentrating fire on any target for prolonged periods of time, and forces it to make numerous attack runs.
The Nynir Gunship is the Mandalorian Unions first attempt at creating a close ground support attack craft. Sporting ray and particle shielding, the Nynir is an extremely durable vessel for its size, and has been constructed with the Unions highly mobile form of combat in mind. With room for three crew, a pilot, co-pilot and rear gunner, the Nynir is capable of protecting itself in different situations, and serve as a highly mobile support craft.
