---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

(+) Force User - Nyla lacks any kind of formal training in the Force, and has only within the past year discovered her abilities. Despite that, she has a natural affinity for the Force, and especially for "Dark Side" powers, fueled by rage, grief, anger, and pain. Her current Powers are, in order of proficiency: Force Fear, Dominate Mind, and Telepathy.

(+) Determined - Nyla, having grown up as a lower class inhabitant of Nar Shaddaa, is a survivor through and through. Failure does not exist, in her mind; there are only temporary setbacks. While this does have the side effect of making her seem arrogant, it is what allowed her to escape her likely fate as yet another faceless goon for the countless gangs of her homeworld.

(+/-) Street Kid - Nar Shaddaa ain't a great place to raise a kid, it turns out. It's violent, scary, and riddled with disease. On the plus side, Nyla's grown up to be a clever, resourceful, quick witted young woman with an excellent sense for danger and trickery. It's a double edged sword, though. Scraping by in life has left her ruthless, and dealing with criminals has left her paranoid and mistrusting of others.

(+/-) Highly Emotional - Maybe it was growing up surrounding by violence. Maybe she's just a bit of a loon. Maybe it's a bit of both. Regardless, Nyla is an exceptionally passionate individual, given to surges of strong emotion. She has learned, through trial and error, to control and channel her emotions, although she is still given to the rare outburst whenever she is exceptionally angry.

(-) Callousness: Nyla has a...distressingly hard time connecting to others on an emotional level. She can respect those more powerful than her, and she can understand the concepts of friendship and camaraderie, and experience them, but her affection is...off. She treats those she cares for more like pets than actual people, and will freely lie, manipulate, or harm them if she thinks that is what is best for them, or for her own personal gain. As well, if it came down to it, she would not risk her life or prosperity for her companions. This condescending attitude regarding others sometimes causes people to react...poorly to her.

(-) Lack of Education - Nyla, while by no means stupid, has very little in the way of formal education. She can read and write in Basic, and is numerate, but that is the extent of any formal schooling she ever received. Any other knowledge she gained, she gained for herself - whether by stealing it, eavesdropping, or simply paying more attention to current events than most people can be bothered to.

APPEARANCE:
Nyla Crow is a moderately tall human woman of thin build, with pale skin, dark hair, and blue eyes. Her clothing is mostly black, although her armor weave jacket bears a dark red symbol on the back, a rune of the ancient Sith language, the meaning of which roughly translates to Sith - The, predictably, Sith word for "Perfect."

BIOGRAPHY:
Nobody would ever claim that Nyla Crow was dealt a good hand in life, except maybe she herself. Born in the slums of Nar Shaddaa, Nyla was raised poor, desperate, and with the odds stacked against her. Combined with her Force Sensitivity, emotional predisposition, and the efforts of her mother to raise a daughter who would rise above the life of a common ganger, whore, or cheap laborer, Nyla was primed for the Dark Side from the beginning.

Her childhood was fairly average, although it was dotted here and there with incidents of aggression and moodiness. Other children often claimed she was "scary" when angry, which could've been an early expression of her force powers, or maybe just a result of her aforementioned aggressiveness.

Around age 16, Nyla was inducted into all female gang of gunrunners and drug dealers - mostly Zabrak, Dathomirian, and Human, although the occasional Twi'Lek found her way in as well. It was during her tenure with this second family that she gained her beloved blaster pistol and lightfoil, and also fell in love with her ship - The Crow's Beak, a heavily customized light freighter that she often used to run drugs or weaponry to off-world sites. She stayed with the gang for six years, unsatisfied with the pettiness of the work, but unwilling to leave behind her best allies.

And then it happened. At age 23, during a drug deal gone wrong, Nyla finally felt the Force, for the first time. She and her sisters were betrayed by their client, a disguised member of a rival gang. Once the creds changed hands, the trap was triggered. Bowcaster fire tore through Nyla's allies from the rooftops around the meeting point, dropping the unprepared gangers like flies. Whether due to luck or fate, the snipers missed her on their initial volley. Letting loose a scream of rage, Nyla tore her betrayer's mind to shreds. The shock of seeing their commander reduced to a gibbering pile of insanity caused most of the amateur mercenaries to hesitate, allowing Nyla to escape, although barely. Exhausted, ragged, and in pain from the sheer amount of Force energy she channeled, the newly born Dark Jedi retreated to her ship, and set course for a familiar, distant planet - Dantooine.

SHIP:
Nyla gallivants about the galaxy in a heavily customized HWK-290 Light freighter, which she has affectionately - some might say arrogantly - named The Crow's Beak. It is sleek and angular, and its coat of paint is primarily black, although the starboard side features a mural of the stars above Little Corsucant as seen from the roof of her childhood home. As for technical specifications, it boasts a Class 2 Hyperdrive system, a deflector shield generator, four laser cannons (two mounted on Port and Starboard sides each), and a life support system capable of sustaining life for up to six months, should the need arise.

KILLS:
None. So far.

BOUNTIES COLLECTED:
None.

I expect noting less from one who would be Sith.

The One Sith traces its legacy back to that of Darth Krayt, and up until recently we had a Dark Lord to guide us. However, he was found to be inadequate to the task, killed, and a council stepped in to take his place. We maintain the ways of Krayt with one alteration: Total Loyalty to the Order, not a single Dark Lord. A variation spawned by IC necessity, if you will.
