- Attani: This Cybernetic implant, like any other Attani, allows its user to convey their emotions to other people's minds. A deeper bond can be created with those of her own species as well, at which point all their knowledge and memories are exposed to each other.
- Corrupted: After her fall to the Dark Side, Nyaeli twisted her Attani and corrupted it so the mental links form more easily with those outside her own species. It enhances her ability to convey emotions, share thoughts, memories, and it allows her to break more easily through the mental barriers of others. It has become an extension of her Dark Side abilities, which largely revolve around the mind.
- Shattering Minds: Nyaeli's skills with the Dark Side revolve around illusions, inducing fear/insanity and breaking the minds of others. Her corrupted Attani serves as an enhancer for all these abilities that revolve around the mind, making it easier to break through the barriers of others, so she can attempt to manipulate or cripple them.
- Strong Minds: Jedi, trained Force-sensitives and species who are very capable at shielding their minds are still capable of protecting themselves against her mental abilities, even with the corrupted Attani. It is by no means a guarantee that she'll be able to slip through the cracks of another's mind — the Attani only makes it easier, and her abilities more potent if they were to work.
- Simple device: Attani aren't made using resilient materials, and its only real defense is the fact it's located behind the ear. So while targeting it isn't necessarily simple, a strike against it would quickly shatter the implant and render it useless.
Like any Aruzan, Nyaeli was given the Attani mind-link at a young age and for most of her younger years, it served as a way to communicate her emotions to others. But after her parents were killed for offering care to a Jedi Master who struck down a Knight of Ren on Aruza, her fall to the Dark Side began, and she used the anger and hatred she felt because of her people's weakness to corrupt the Mind-link.
This led up to the Massacre on Aruza, where she established a link with the villagers of her own hometown and drove them into such madness that they started killing each other. There were no survivors that night, and the corrupted Attani has now become her most important tool, as it aids her directly in the few skills she considers herself good at; all of which revolve around her ability to influence the minds of others.
