The world of Monestary was one full of peace and relaxation, filled with many temples and places that Jedi would call home with ease, though on this world such a place was not her detestation. No, instead Sukai and her company would be traveling to a place were people learnt to fight, a mountain complex for martial arts training. A dojo run by quite the strong headed and sotic teacher, a place were they would spend time... drinking tea.

Slowly Sukai lead Durso up the stone steps which winded a way to the Dojo entrance, a calm cool breeze flowing through the area. The sun just peaking around what most would call 7am, a small chill hanging in the air, still yet to be taken off with the rays of warmth. "I think you will like the person who runs this place, well in time, she can be a little arrogant but that is just due to their mercenary past, be around them long enough and you will see a mellow side to them". Said person being the master of said dojo, but also Sukai's own mother, not that he needed to know that just yet, best to see how things go first.

"One thing that is sure is her ability to make good tea, almost any kind, apparently the get it from some supplier living on sanctuary I think, some Anzt Jedi believe it or not". She finished her words just as they reached the entrance, her hand going to knock on the clearly Atrisan styled door, awaiting for it to be opened.

The idea of going to a peaceful planet of beautiful temples was not one that Dusaro was against, by any means. He liked beautiful vista's and relaxing, pleasant vibes just as much as most people, perhaps a bit more given his past and his tenancy to enjoy alcohol while looking at such sites. What did surprise him was going to a dojo with doubtlessly capable and skilled practitioners, to drink tea. It was like some strange form of comedy to the former Merc-man and he felt like part of the joke.

Putting aside the Echani part of him that was miffed at a lack of combat, Dusaro took time as they slowly ascended the steps to take in the mountain's atmosphere. Clean, chilly air. He liked that kind of atmosphere, not minding the code one bit it seemed as he took a deep breath and let out a long, pleased sigh. "Not all that bad i think, this place." He said to no one in particular as he looked around, nodding as Sky spoke. "Gotcha. Well, i wouldn't really know how to handle someone who wasn't some form of confidant, arrogant or self sure so it's probably for the best." He said with a light shrug. It helped that he was used to people like that as well.

"An Anzat Jedi, huh? I guess you really can find any kind of people being a Jedi." Though it was doubtful Dusaro had much room to talk on that particular point, being raised as a Merc since he was a kid. As they waited he took a look at the fairly style, Atrisian door. He had never actually been to Atrisia, but he had seen plenty of places influenced by it's architecture and art styles. Though last he heard it had nearly been destroyed in some titanic clash between Sith and Jedi.

He thought? just from that reaction Sukai guessed Dus had never really seen an Atrisan Dojo before, in comparison the one here her mother ran was quite large, so large some people had mistaken if for a Zen temple. She couldn't get over the idea when one Sith came and pour sand on the ground and started to meditate, only for her to come our and yell at him for doing something so stupid. "Yes I would suspect with you being a former mercenary yourself that talking with someone of a similar past would be easy, most people just think she is a gummy antisocial women and not a veteran solider with bad people skills". Well she had mellowed a bit during her time in the CIS, but even still Kurenai was not really the most approachable person, nor was her personally very 'wow' or exciting.

"Really? you are pulling that thing? you a hybrid Echani with regeneration power on par with a Gen'dai, and you think and Anzt Jedi is the strangest things to exist"? It was clear she was joking but even still the point stood, these days, with the right mental attitude and skills anyone could become a Jedi. "Anyways we should let her know w-", before Sukai could knock on the wooden door it's swung open, her fist flaying at nothing as a tall, navy haired women stood, dressed in a simple blue and white Hakama a stern but not angry gaze falling upon the two Jedi.

"Hello Sukai, I was not expecting to see you today but a pleasant surprise never the least, I assume this is one of your Jedi comrades"? she queried, looking at Dus with an inquisitorial stare. Sukai quickly gave a deep bow to her not yet revealed mother, motioning towards the other visitor, "this here is [member="Dusaro Dresari"], a fellow Jedi knight, I've invited him for some tea". Kurenai stared at the two for a few seconds, giving a small nod, stepping back and keeping the door open for the due, "enter, please make your way to the main building, we can relax there".

Dusaro had never seen one, truth be told. He was taught everything he knew about hand to hand combat in the cold, confined hull of a ship and all he knew of shooting from his father came either from the same place, or in long open ranges for long distance shooting. This was truthfully, his first time ever stepping into a proper Dojo of any sort and as far as he was concerned, a Jedi Temple did not count. "Well, we both know i have no issues talking with people." Dus said with a sardonic smile. Sky had known him long enough to know he was not actually all that good with people, unless they could stand the dark humor and directness of a former Merc Man. Though to his credit, he wasn't all abrasive of razor edges on the outside either, so he did atleast have that going for him.

"I mean, not a whole lot i can say to that i suppose eh? Though to be fair i do consider myself something of a strange outlier as well, so it's not like i am not self conscious about it." Dusaro said with a light chuckle and shake of his head. Dusaro nodded in agreement with Sky as she started to speak, but then the wooden doors decided to open up all on their own. He blinked in surprise and looked through the entrance to the woman who had a stern looking gaze. Dusaro's eyebrow raised at this curious event but he said nothing.

After his introduction, Dusaro too gave a bow, one that was an Echani style form of respect to a martial senior. It might have been a slightly different kind of show of respect then she might be used to, but it was what he had been trained in and knew so it is what Dusaro did. Right hand in a first in the palm of the open left hand, head bowed. In that position he spoke. "This youngster greets senior Martial Mother!" It was a very old, much more formal style of greeting than most were accustomed to. The only reason Dusaro knew it was because his mother was a traditionalist when it came to such things. The 'Mother' in the sense of actual relation, but rather age, knowledge and skill, giving proper difference and respect to his elder. After his spirited words, Dusaro would step inside after Sky'ito herself crossed the threshold.

Kurenai looked upon the man as he gave the greeting, her face still showing a stoic and almost non emotional expression, easily able to recognize the origin of such a greeting and bow. It did come off as odd, the man before her did not seem fully Echani, it was an interesting thing to ponder, but never the least the greeting was returned. A standard 45 degree bow coming from Kurenai, hands straight at her side during the entire gesture, "certainly a pleasure to meet you". Perhaps he'd be an interesting person to fight, Echani always made the most exciting opponents, they difference in their fighting style never ceased to amaze her, no matter how many years she had walked this galaxy.

Closing the door behind Kurenai lead the duo towards the main building that sat at the back end of the Dojo, "Dusaro, do you drink tea? asking because I will be making some and don't wish to waste a cup if you will not partake of any refreshments". Her sentance ending with the opening of the door to the main home stead, the floor being out of woven bamboo, soft but also firm, "take your shoes off at the door will you, take a seat, I will be back soon". Sukai was quick to comply, already taking her shoes off, wearing her socks while walking towards a small table with kneeling cushions around it, "the tea she makes is quite good, some Jedi called Taland is the supplier, some anzt I think, quite an interesting man".

Looking at Kurenai, Dusaro was having a similar kind of thought process. From her movement, tone of voice and how she carried herself, it suggested someone who wasn't just a skilled gunslinger, but someone who had worked to take their body and technique to a different level. Not in the way of a Force User either, that was something different and Dusaro was able to distinguish that difference back when he was a Mercenary. Even though he was a Jedi, he always loved a good fight, he couldn't help it. It was in his blood. If Kurenai looked closely, she might notice one thing that could give away his Echani heritage, his hair. Two toned, blonde and that distinct Echani Silver.

"I do drink tea. Though my own ability to brew it is lacking, i will gladly accept." He said, stopping at the door as he got a good look at the inside, seeing the place for shoes about the time it was mentioned. It had been some time since he had to do that, since he was brought up on a ship his mother had never insisted on such. The metal floor of a ship gets cold after all. Even so, he took off his boots, following Sky to the table with kneeling cushions. "I rarely ever get to drink tea. My Mother used to make it, pretty good too. Never told me where she got her supply though, or teach me how to make it for that matter." He said to Sky with something of a reminscent tone, getting a good look around the room, observing his surroundings. Part of him couldn't help but count the exits, windows, light switches and check if there was a sprinkler system or similar fire fighting defense present. This was something Sky might have noticed he did whenever he entered somewhere new. "Is this a place you have trained at before?" Dus asked Sky'ito, getting a vague feeling she had a connection to this place in that kind of manner.

A lightly muffled 'okay' could be heard from back as Kurenai went about preparing tea for 3 peoples, the chink of ceramics against each other and water boiling resonated from the kitchen area, the sound not exactly being stopped by the paper like walls. "Your mother did? hmmm interesting, then people do have hobbies outside their own job", Kurenai was a mercenary in her veeeeeeeeeeeery long youth and knew how to brew tea in her early 60s. It wasn't to hard to believe another mercenary mother could do the same, even if they were not almost immortal.

Sukai hummed a little while awaiting the drinks, tapping her kneels a little in rhythm while looking back to Dus, "no, I've not trained here just yet, the complex is kind of new, was put up not long after the CIS took control over Monastery due to some monster crisis". Something to do with Sith spawn she believed, or along those lines, the details were quite, skeptical, seemed that the CIS wanted to keep thing hush hush, or that the reason for such issue was never fully sorted out. "Though I would like to spend a few days here, would be nice to have a taste of home, both in style and food, tea isn't the only think master Kureani is good at making".

In but a few moments Kurenai returned, carrying a tray with a pot and three cups, herself placing the tray down with the force while taking a seat, turning her attention to Dus. "So, Mr Dresari, tell me about yourself, you seem like a quite unique individual".

[member="Dusaro Dresari"]

Dusaro was a bit surprised that the walls were truely that thin and made out of paper, though that would make hearing anything happening quite easy. Intruders would be in for a rude surprise, and it was quite a change from the metal hulls and temple halls he was used to. "Aye. Was never something i pursued and she only ever did it for herself, more or less." It was one of those small things that she happened to do that he had never picked up on or really asked about.

"Huh. Well, takeovers rarely go over without any hiccups so issues are not exactly uncommon even in the most diplomatic of movements." Dusaro said with a light shrug, though he was a bit surprised that the place was new. Somehow it managed to feel much older then its age, but maybe that was just him and not being used to such architecture. "If there is good food then i am right behind you, espically if there is meat." Dusaro said with a broad grin, a tone of excitement coming from him at the prospect. Sky already knew by now, just how much protein and meat he needed on a daily basis and beyond that, how much he loved meat in general.

He gave a polite nod to Kurenai as she walked in and set the tray down, rubbing his chin in thought as he decided on where to begin with that question. "Well, my father was a Firrerreo and my mother was an Echani. More or less didn't inheret anything from my mother physically, besides this." Dus said, his fingers going up and getting a lock of his silvery hair that was mixed in with the blonde, the colors evenly mixed. "Both of them were Mercenaries and i ended up inheriting the trade. My mother raised me as an Echani, the culture, the training, all of it. Though going by my own experience in having sparred with others who were brought up in the Echani arts in more normal ways, what she taught me was more practically focused. My father was something of a gunsmith and gun nut, he taught me how to shoot, how to maintain, repair and fabricate parts. Also how to make the fun stuff, homemade explosives, traps, mines. All the fun stuff that makes war a nightmare for the other side." He said with a grin at the memories he was recalling of his training. "Had my first job when i was, sixteen. It wasn't the biggest of jobs, just 'go here, watch this cargo until these people get here and make sure they take off safety'. More or less went like that, but some idiots decided to show up." There was a certain, tone to his voice and a look in his eyes. It was something unique to people who had seen war time and time again when they recalled moments that were, gruesome. "The cargo got away fine and i came out of it intact, so it was a good first mission on all accounts. After that i started going on missions with my parents and they were not afraid to send me right into the action. I never thought about complaining though and the people weren't half bad. Then again, even if you and the other guy dont speak the same language, you get friendly real quick when you are in a foxhole taking mortar shelling." Dusaro said with a chuckle and grin.

Kurenai silently listened to Dusaro's short back story, nodding periodically to the man while sipping from her own cup, every now and then cocking her head to the side in a slight amount of interest. Firrerreo were a race she'd met a few times in the past, once when really drunk she had a 'regeneration contest' with on, needless to say she overestimated her vampire powers and went on a feeding spree the next day, leading to her faking her death to avoid the Jedi. The rest of his story, while interesting to hear wasn't that new, many children these days grew up learning to fight and do jobs at a young age, heck she had raised a orphaned child a few years back in the same way, the constant state of war in the galaxy now made it as such.

Her cup hand touched the table, now empty as she gazed over Dusaro one last time, giving a small smile, "well Sukai, you have certainly picked a spry one, and being a Firrerreo he will live a decent time, so, how far have you progressed in the relationship"? The sudden change in topic and Kurenai's insinuation of their relationship caused Sukai to choke, coughing uncontrollably as the tea went down her wind pipe, face going a shade of red which was quite the contrast against her pale skin, "M-Mother! what are you saying! Kuchi o tojite, baka"! The reaction got a small chuckle from Kurenai a hand going to her mouth to keep it covered as she watched her daughter hide her face, spouting off mumbled Riben Jin words. "I suppose the cat is out of the bag".

He omitted the darker parts and a few other things, but it did get the general point across. While he didn't mind sharing all of that, it wasn't exactly a good idea to start out your first meeting with someone with that kind of talk. Even Dus knew that, in spite of being as bankrupt as he was when it came to conversing with people on normal topics, or discussing anything of actual importance on a personal level with people for that matter. But hey, no one was perfect so that was fine, right?

Dus blinked in surprise as Kurenai's words, raising a brow and looking between the two as they started to go back and forth. To try and conceal a mysterious smile he took the final drink of his tea with a good deal of patience before setting it back down, unfortunately the tactic failed utterly, that greatly amused smile was still most definitely there. "Hmmm... Well, i have been teaching her Echani Martial Arts. We have gone out a few times just for the fun of it, not just for business or Jedi related matters." Dusaro said with a still unconcealed grin, fully planning on teasing Sky while he had the chance to do so, just a bit at least. After he got his composure and thoughts back he paused and looked at her mother. "I had heard a good deal about you from your Daughter, it is most certainly good to meet you now. Though, i feel that makes my greeting of 'Martial Mother' carry a bit of a different tone now." He said, Dusaro making a wry and amused look at that realization.

Kurenai neatly folded her arms observing Dusaro's reaction, giving a small 'hmmm'. "Not the reaction I was fully expecting though I suppose it will have to do, perhaps you already had suspicion that I was Sukai's mother"? They did look similar, and not just because they were Atrisian. "Also it is nice to see you two are getting along, I heard how you to met, your fangs fully healed Sukai"? The daughter still flustered a little giving a small nod, pushing her lips up to show her sharp teeth where in full working order, "yes they are fine, sharp and deadly". Another nod came from Kurenai before sliding attention back to their guest, "Mother hu, are you already thinking about marrige? at such a young age to, children these days, quite eager, though it is not my place to decide what you do with your life, with in reason of crouse". She wasn't about to let her fammily members go on massive rampages of destruction or somthing else as stpuid.

[member="Dusaro Dresari"]

"Mmm, a little bit." Dusaro nodded lightly, looking between the two. "I felt you two were similar. Not a feeling in the force, more a gut feeling." Dusaro had very strong natural instincts. Even if it it was not something he consciously connected, subconsciously a connection was made so when the reveal was done, he was not as surprised as he might have otherwise been. Dus had not heard about her fangs being damaged, but he could most certainly see how that could cause some serious issues. "Hah, i didn't mean it quite like that." Dusaro said, he was seriously not someone who could so easily deal with such emotional, touchy topics. But neither was he a indecisive man so after an awkward look he spoke a bit more seriously. "Well, regardless, life is rather short and i am a decisive man and i will not deny i have such feelings. If that is what it leads to, i would have no complaints!" He said simply with a firm nod. It was after he said this that he realized, saying so in front of Sky'ito might, not have been the best of ideas. But he said it and his expression showed no dishonesty, or plans on changing his mind.

"Ah, that gut feeling, yes I understand, something that you just get, more so when you are in that line of business". She herself knew quite well how such a feeling worked, it was hard to explain, and everyone had their own way of knowing it. What mattered was it could be trusted, sometimes more then the force or other powers she had on hand. It was rather interesting to talk to another force user that had a mercenary background before entering an order, even if the two's lives were very different, in both experience and life span. Kurenai slowly refilled her cup, listening to Dus some more, outwardly not really changing her outward emotion, keeping a calm aura at all times. "I can see that, in our line or work unfortunate things can happen, even if people like us can take a lot of punishment, if you two do continue to see one another and get closer I can say that you will have me best wishes". A small smirk came across her face as she looked Dus in the eyes, "still I believe there was another reason for your visit, this is a Dojo after all and if this was to just be a mother visit such could have been done at home, so [member="Dusaro Dresari"], would you be interested in a sparing match"?

[member="Dusaro Dresari"]

"Aye, that." Dusaro said with a simple, short nod. It wasn't exactly something that needed explained more, they both knew what was meant after all. Initially Dusaro had thought that feeling was from the force when he first became a Jedi and started training, but in recent times he had found that was not the case. It was entirely separate and unrelated, something he found very interesting. As for her approval, Dusaro had actually gotten ahead of himself. It wasn't that he didn't mean what he said, he just hadn't meant to actually say that much. But, he did, though he didn't regret doing it either. She had approved after all and Dus could not help looking curiously at Sky'ito, wondering what kind of expression she had at what her mother just said. Then the mention of a sparring match was brought up and his head snapped back immediately with a large grin. "I am always ready for a sparring session. Any particular rules, unarmed only or anything like that?"

Another small smirk came from Kurenai as she stood up, her head turning towards Sukai, "would I get you to do the dishes daughter"? The still flustered Jedi gave a small nod, giving both a short bow before levitating the cups and pot into the small kitchen to the side, Kurenai giving a small nod before turning to the doors, beckoning Dus to follow. "We can do unarmed if you wish or we can use training weapons, I have quite the variety at my disposal, rules are just as flexible, we can go until one person has so many touches or, since we both have healing capabilities a more heavy contact variant". Even if her regeneration wasn't on par with the Jedi's her high pain tolerance would be able to bridge the gap. "We can spar out here in the court yard or the acutal Dojo to the side, no real difference besides a bit more space and a soft floor if that is your preference".

[member="Dusaro Dresari"]

Dusaro got up in a smooth motion, stretching for a moment before following Kurenai on out. "In that case, i think hand to hand full contact. Courtyard for a bit of extra room, the ground won't bother me. Beyond a crushing my brain or damaging my heart enough to make it stop beating, not much is going to take me down. Though i would ask that you don't break my spine, that takes a while to heal properly." He had it happen, once. It had taken four months and several medical surgeries to get it all back in place properly. He didn't really want to go there again. "If you do not mind me asking you ahead of time, what have you trained in? I was brought up with Echani Martial Arts and the very basics of Teras Kasi. Learned a bit here and there from other people, but that is it." It had been quite a long time since he had gotten to talk to someone else about this kind of topic and definitely a first for someone who was this much more experienced than he was.

[member="Kurenai Yumi"]

Kurenai's hands neatly slipped into the sleeves of her attire as the two walked out into the yard, her head turning back to Dus slightly. "Hmm I will see, though I can not promise that one of my strikes may cause some back damage, that is if you are letting me go all out". Something she didn't often do unless in a life of death situation and even then she tried to restrain herself, but against someone with high regeneration and proper hand to hand training perhaps it would be okay. "I am quite skilled in Teras Kasi and have also developed my own form of your races fighting style, that being I can notice muscle movements as well as use my naturally faster perception to have an idea of your next moves, not anywhere near your own style but it gives me the edge against others". "I've combined it with judo and other grappling/holding martial arts to produce what I simply refer to as CQC". "Lastly I know another more brutal art of fighting used by some law enforcement on certain planets, the type that involves kicking men in certain area's and other more hash actions to quickly pacify them, but I will refrain from doing that... after all I wouldn't mind grand children". Her joke coming with a small smirk before she fully turned around upon entering the center of the yard, her hands going to the front of her attire as she quickly disrobed. Under neath she wore a comfortable and form fitting sports bar of sorts, pants being a jet black pair of military like jeans, "just tell me when you are ready to begin Dusaro".

[member="Dusaro Dresari"]

"Mmm... Fair. Ah well, whats a few months of recovery compared to a proper fight? All out." He said fearlessly in response, if it happened it happened and he would deal with it then. He would rather risk the potential damage and recovery time than holding back if he was being honest and he was. It was important to know, he wasn't underestimating Kurenai by saying to not hold back. That was just how he was. With his time with the Jedi though and how long he had trained with them, he nearly forgot that way of thinking and attitude. He took a moment to consider what his opponent knew and what he might expect while taking off a few extraneous items that he wouldn't be needing, lightsaber and a pair of pistols along with his jacket. Dusaro didn't make the rookie mistake of assuming what her plan would be just from what information he had, but he got the feeling that he would loose if the match was decided by grappling so he made a mental note to watch out for any grabs. As for his attire, it was the usual loose and easy to move in pants, with a tightly knitted t-shirt. "Ready." Dusaro replied, his face clearing up and taking on a very calm, relaxed look that was not focused anywhere in particular on his opponent, but still gave a slightly oppressive feeling.

After saying ready, in spite of being in a neutral stance he didn't seem interested in being defensive. Instead he pushed forward and lashed out with a pair of fast jabs at her face, making sure to not let her get a grip on him while he did so.

[member="Kurenai Yumi"]

As Dus prepared himself for the coming bout Kurenai lowered herself into a fighting stance, a simple one with her left leg slightly forward, left arm raised and up while her right one was closer to her body. A stance that was somewhere between defensive and offensive, one that allowed quick change depending on the situation without being to complicated. For a moment she waited, eyeing up her opponent, not sure if she was the one to make the first move or him, though the Echani Hybrid seemed more then eager to start things off. As Dus rushed forward Kurenai held her left hand up, keeping it close to her face to block and parry the jabs, "trying to block my vision are you, interesting and effective tactic against most people". With her left hand blocking Kurenai pushed herself to the offensive, shooting a firm jab aimed at his stomach followed up with a headbutt, deliberately aiming for two separate areas.

[member="Dusaro Dresari"]

Dusaro was a very aggressive person, in general terms at least. This most certainly carried over to how he fought as well, being a person who very much believed in the concept of 'take and hold'. The kind of person who would take a blow somewhere less important, if it meant dealing a lethal blow in return. And with his body, he had a lot of room to play with when it came to taking damaging blows. But what about when dealing with someone else like that? Only one way to find out. He would take the jab at his stomach, his abs already tightened to take the blow. It was not much of a surprise that he only lightly bent forward at the blow as he braced himself for it, and it was clear he took the blow on purpose. Dus wanted to judge his opponent. The headbutt he would make sure to dodge, using one hand to press against Kurenai's right that had punched his stomach to one side while quickly side stepping in the other direction, while aiming a quick jab at her kidneys in order to get in a single, painful blow. Or what would be painful for most people at least. For all he knew, Energy Vampires might not even -have- kidneys in that area, so it might not even be a vital spot. But he was about to find out. On the power of his own punch, it was more than what most people would expect out of a human looking species. Firrereo had a great deal of natural strength compared to the humans they closely resembled and this natural feature was compounded by a through workout regiment. With that said, it was more focused on speed than outright stopping power, as he was planning to strike a vital zone that would make up for the lack of power behind the blow.

When it came to speaking, he was like most Echani tended to be while fighting, silent. His thoughts were expressed through his actions. 'I felt what you can do, now it's your turn.'
