Strengths |
- The greatest strength of Null's armor is the Void Stone it was designed around that is embedded into his chest that protects Null from the powers used by Force Users that often appear in his line of work. It provides protection to abilities he would normally be defenseless against.
- Layered Plating allows Null a greater range of motion and allows for him to extend his limbs due to his physiology while being fully protected once returned to its normal non-extended length. The layered duraplast plates also provides additional protection from lightsabers by making it more difficult for glancing blows to simply slice through.
- The armor's design and materials make it an all-around excellent piece of equipment, providing a wide range of protection for Null for a number of occupational hazards he may run into and a number of useful features while on the hunt for his prey.
- When Null extends his limbs out, the layered armor only encases the areas it was designed around, leaving extended corded muscle wide open and vulnerable to attack, easily being cut through by lightsabers and vibroblades or shot at.
- The armor provides no protection against weapons or devices capable of vaporizing such as thermal detonators or disruptors. It also provides limited protection against elements that would go beyond environmental temperature extremes; ie lava, direct lightsaber contact, etc
DESCRIPTION
Null's armor is designed around his body' physiology to give him a humanoid form like most Gen'Dai do. The helmet's design is similar to that of Durge from the Clone Wars over 800 years ago and forged from Durasteel; it features two slots for the eyes, with straight vertical 'scars' on the upper part while the lower featured a curved pair and six slits over where the mouth would be. The armor itself features several hardpoints for which a number of different equipment can be mounted to for versatility on the job.
Most of the armor is constructed from layered duraplast plates to provide protection from blaster bolts and kinetic weapons as well as making glancing lightsaber blows less effective, though a direct blow from a lightsaber with adequate force behind the swing will still slice through. The armor covers the entirety of the body and comes in segments rather than a full on body suit, and at its center, much like a heart is a Void Stone embedded into Null's chest, protected behind a transparisteel cover, though the Void Stone could be swallowed into Null's mass at any time to protect it should the cover or armor be compromised.
The forearms are where a majority of Null's equipment and offensive/defensive gear can be found. The forearms are covered with MV-18 'Force' Class vambraces, house a sword and shield type function; an energy shield that can cover a small area, slightly larger than that of a buckler shield that can deflect/block blaster bolts and lightsabers but ineffective against projectiles, and a knuckle plate vibro blade that is efficient at slicing through targets. The hands are covered with shock gloves that can pass a powerful electric shock through whatever it comes into contact with to incapacitate targets, though prolonged contact may result in death.
The feet are equipped with spiked Greitis Class Combat Boots from Jaeger Solutions for a steadfast grip on both terrestrial terrain as well as improved mobility, and can also function as a weapon if he chooses to step on or kick anyone. Around the waist is a kama made from Wookie leather, to provide protection against low flying debris/shrapnel as well as the downdraft from jetpack thrusters. The entirety of Null's armor has a layer of armorweave beneath the plates to provide protection, though it is in segments to allow for the Gen'Dai to extend his limbs.
