Judah had slept, a lot. It seemed like since he got out the bacta tank it was all he did. That was the side effect of the concussion which still lingered, or the mental trauma which had been suffered from the phobia device. His dreams were fading. The Master still saw Katara when he wanted to, but the pangs of death no longer haunted him. Judah needed to live, they had come to that conclusion, and more than ever the stubborn Lesan knew why.

He could not let the Sith have their way with the galaxy.

It had become a personal vendetta in some part. Judah had never seen it could become that way, but clearly he underestimated the ability of Sith to seek revenge. It had led Judah to the place he was now. As the empress used the one thing against the Jedi that was effective in keeping them at bay, she told Judah her reasons. He was no savior, not in the way he wanted to be. Instead, he was a broken man waiting for his old body to catch up with what the bacta was actively doing.

Judah woke up and as his vision became clear, his friend and partner was waiting for him. He smiled. The Jedi knew she would not leave his side, at least often. The mission always came first, and she would likely remind him, his mission for the moment was rest. He reached for her and closed his eyes when he realized his new arm was not attached yet.

He sighed.

“How long have you been there?”

Judah did not bring up what he had said earlier, though it was hanging over his head. Judah knew they would need to talk about it, but for now he just wanted to see his friend and know the world was going to be okay.
