Corey's OOC
And where were the spiders
Marek Starchaser had a lot of work ahead of him. Luckily, he was able to make it turn into something fun. He was working on a project for the Techno Union, and really, he missed being the field tester, instead of the grand poobah of quartermasters. That was why he was exiting hyperspace right now in a rented shuttle. Sure, he rented it, and then used some of the engineers in Arakyd and Haor Chall to boost the ship a bit, engines, scanners, and sensors. A pretty ugly freighter with a whole lot of top of the line gear.
It really was going to be a work of art once they get the whole package assembled and could work on these ships. It was going to be definitely something fun to do, and hopefully he’d be impressing someone in the Confederacy. But right now too, he was also doing a bit of exploring. A shake down in the ship, as it were.
Looking over his shoulder, he called back to the rest of the ship. “So, we’re out of hyperspace, if you want to make your way up here.” After all, @Seanna Val came up to him looking for something to do. So, that was the trip to the Gamor Run, and now they were somewhere around Beris, he suspected. Maybe he’d make her fly in.
That seemed like a smart move. Besides wasn’t she part of the group he was testing these ships out for? He could go check the supplies he loaded aboard. He had a few prototypes he was trying out for the army as well. This was definitely a worthwhile trip, but he figured it might be useful to stay near the controls, even if the ship they were in was simple to fly. Compared to others.
