BACKGROUND

Born on Butler's Cove, Novac is the son of a Thasspian father and a Ssither mother. He lived a fairly normal life, though often a lonely one. He never had much luck making friends with other people, instead forming bonds with the local wildlife. Unknown to him at the time, he was unconsciously using the Force to calm and befriend many of the creatures around him. From a young age, he developed a strong love for alien animals and droids.

His life changed when an elderly Chelidae Jedi named Cinia visited Butler's Cove and sensed his connection to the Force. After some convincing, Novac agreed to become her apprentice. Because Butler's Cove is a secretive world known to very few, he was discovered much later than most Jedi. Cinia often claimed she found the planet through the will of the Force rather than chance.

For several years, Cinia trained Novac in the ways of the Force. Eventually, believing she had taught him all she could, she retired to Chandrila and gifted him her old frigate, which he later modified to better suit his needs.

Since then, Novac has traveled the galaxy, taking odd jobs and salvaging useful parts from junkyards to earn credits. His goal is simple: explore new worlds, learn about the life that inhabits them, and continue growing as a Jedi. He travels alongside several droids he considers friends rather than machines, as well as a collection of beloved pets.

At heart, Novac is a Jedi and remains loyal to the Order, though he does not always agree with every tradition or belief they hold. While he has no interest in Sith teachings, he is often more practical than many Jedi and is not afraid to get his hands dirty when necessary.

PERSONALITY

Novac tries to follow Jedi ideals, though he never fully agreed with all of their teachings, especially regarding attachments and relationships. He is more pragmatic than most Jedi and is willing to take on "dirty" or underground work when needed, as long as it feels justified. He avoids Sith practices entirely.

He has a strong love for droids and is constantly tinkering with them, salvaging parts or attempting to build his own. He also adores alien wildlife across the galaxy, especially reptilian species like Varactyls. His curiosity about the galaxy—its cultures, species, flora, fauna, and technology—can sometimes get the better of him.

One thing he absolutely hates is oceans.

Novac is generally shy and doesn't often start conversations, not from dislike but because he's far more used to speaking with droids, animals, or his master, Cinia Manar.

He travels with a large ship mainly to transport his droids and pets, and he frequently visits scrapyards and old battlefields to salvage useful tech, weapons, and droid parts.

Fun facts:

• Can unhinge his jaw and eat large prey.
• Thasspians prefer raw meat and sometimes live prey, though he never does this in front of others.
• Sleeps only 3–4 hours a night and meditates before resting.
• Enjoys heavy music.
• Often "liberates" useful tech from enemies if it can be repurposed.

STRENGTHS

2 pairs of arms = 4 hands. + prehensile tail, lot of grabbing stuff. fairly strong in the force

lightsaber combat: novac, not only having 4 amrs and 4 sabers, has spent a lot of time training with his sabers, finding new ways to use them other 2 armed species wouldn't be able to

animal taming: using the force to calm animals and potentially tame them/make them his pet(doesn't work on all creatures)

tail: not only is it prehensile but like his father(and other thisspians) his tail is mostly if not fully muscle

the force: thisspians and ssither are naturally better with the force.

warm climates: due to being warm blooded he is very comfortable in warm/hot environments

reaction speed: he has a very fast reaction speed due to often sparring with cinia who was a master of force speed

physical strength: both thisspians

WEAKNESSES

Moral Ambiguity(not really sith stuff but will do things other jedi might frown upon)

seats(snake body makes sitting hard in some ships/speeders

oceans/lakes - fear of large nature bodys of water

cold - his reptilian nature makes the cold a problem. his long body doesn't help as its hard to keep warm

i've been looking it up, getting the length and weight is a pain to get, if someone smarter then me can calculate that i'd appreciate it SO much. been trying to figure it out but im not to sure, i've seen equations that would but him over 450 kilograms(992 pounds) that doesn't feel right, but i dont know
