Nova Corp was once a company that mined in various planets, earning hundreds of millions of credits from its profits. On one unfortunate day however, a mistake by its CEO made the company lose millions of credits, and enter in a state of bankruptcy.
That was, until Krayzen arrived.
Deciding to use a hostile takeover to earn 50 % of the company, the Nova family would maintain its other 50 % under its heir, Astril Nova. The company would experience return to prominence, now expanding its mining operations in the hopes of becoming the galaxy's preeminent mining corporation.

RATIONALE
Astril Nova inherited Nova Corp, although it was a shell of what it was once. It's other shareholder, Krayzen, took over the company via a hostile takeover. He convincing the minority shareholders to sell their stake to him. The company now serves as a subsidiary of Drakos Systems, supplying it with phrik, an so forth. Just like other subsidiaries, it continues to be independent, working also to get its own profits.
