Not Everything Is Black and White

Aika Kawakami

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?

Nar Shaddaa
The sumggler's moon. The largest moon of Nal Hutta. The biggest scum hole in the galaxy. Throughout years, it had been called many things. But none could deny that above all else, it was two things. One, a place where one could find nearly anything their heart desired. And two, a place where one could go to hide from whoever they didn't want to be found by. There were plenty that had done this in the past, but to think that a Jedi in this day and age would do such a thing was a crazed concept at best. Yet, here saw was, moving throughout the platforms of the moon, hands clasped behind her back. It was in these times that she was glad she chose garments far removed from the Jedi norm. The pants were a bit more form fitting than need be, she moved well in them. And jacket, well she just liked how it looked on her. Nonetheless, the more normal appearance allowed her to move more freely than other Jedi. But, everything in life had two sides to it.
While Aika could move freely. it also left her open to approach from others. Such was the case on the scruffy looking male who'd been following her for the past ten minutes. His vain attempts at gaining her attention had quickly grown tiresome. A silent sigh slipped from her lips as she continued forward, ignoring the meaningless words being throw her way. "Come on, sweetie. Your on the best planet in the system. What's a guy gotta do to get a little fun, eh?" Still, no words left her mouth. Rather than that, she continued forward, veering off around a corridor and into a small alley. Of course, the male followed without a second thought.
Her steps continued until she reached the halfway point of the alleyway, turning then to meet his lecherous gaze as he continued taking steps toward her? "Oh, one of those types, huh? No worries, I got some creds to spare." A deep exhale escaped her lips as the curved into a coy grin. "Very well then. Lets play.." As those words left her lips, she dove into his mind, bombarding him with the most disturbing thoughts and and images she could muster in the moment, but it was far more than enough. He clutched at sides of her his head, screaming as if something were clawing at his mind from the outside. The violent shaking of his body as his screams grew was all the confirmation she needed. It lasted only seconds before he stumbled into the wall to his left, hands dropping limp to his sides before sliding down to the ground, a glazed look within his eyes as he lay there. No movement, no sounds, no signs of life.
Her eyes lingered on the downed man for a few moments before shaking her head, and shuffling from the alley. As she turned to exit the alleyway, a soft chuckled slipped her lips as she merged back into the moon's normal society. As it was said, this was a place where anyone could hide, and where one could be anyone they wanted.

A ghostly figure walked through the planet of crime that day. Nar Shaddaa had always been a planet capable of hiding anything and the banshee knew nothing could ever change it. It was a planet of skyscrapers, a bit similar to Coruscant. Yet this former Hutt moon's city was a lot more full of crime. Now that Coruscant belonged to the One Sith, Malificete believed even Coruscant's undercity would become more pleasant. But Nar Shaddaa would remain the same. And that was the only reason she had come to the moon that day. She was newly resurrected and ready to start some action again with her strange new body. But first, she would get some drinks or just hang out in the outer areas of the Republic space. It was a bit fun to be there, on the lands of her enemy.

Malificete was a Sith Lord. A new one, but still a Lord. Her powers didn't speak of her rank, but they would have most likely belonged to some lesser Force users, probably an Apprentice or a Low Knight would have had her set of skills. And to be honest, she was not quite able to use all of the powers she had learned in her past, and that was due to her new unnatural body. But also because of the fact that she didn't remember learning most of them, including illusions and kinds of... magic.

While pursuing through the streets, her white dress nearly floated around her body and so did her white long hair. It was a bit strange to see a figure like this, but... what could she do if she had to have a vessel to be alive?

Stopping at a bar, or at least a building looking like one, she thought whether she should get a drink or... do something fun. She didn't remember she had had much of fun even in bars and cantinas in the past. It was a bit miserable to see how she didn't remember nearly anything about her life - only the One Sith and the Vision were still in her memories.

What a life...
