PHYSICAL APPEARANCE //

Norra is a tall Cathar woman whose appearance leaves little doubt about her feline ancestry. Standing at approximately 190 centimetres, she possesses a naturally athletic figure, with long limbs, a flexible spine and the graceful posture characteristic of her species. Her fur is predominantly black, interrupted by irregular white patches scattered across her face, shoulders, arms, torso and legs. The unusual pattern gives her an immediately recognisable appearance.

Her golden eyes possess distinctly feline pupils, narrowing into thin vertical slits under bright light and widening considerably in darkness. Two pointed ears rise above her long, dark hair, constantly reacting to nearby sounds. A slender, black-and-white tail extends behind her, providing balance and often revealing emotions she would rather keep hidden.

Norra generally favours practical clothing in black and deep blue. She dislikes unnecessarily complicated equipment, preferring comfortable outfits that allow unrestricted movement. Her feline nature occasionally reveals itself through small, almost unconscious habits. Her ears turn toward interesting conversations, her tail flicks when irritated, and she has a tendency to seek elevated places from which to observe her surroundings. FELINE AGILITY

Norra possesses the natural flexibility, coordination and reflexes associated with the Cathar species. She can navigate difficult terrain, change direction rapidly and maintain her balance in situations that would challenge most Humans. Her powerful legs allow her to leap considerably higher than an average Human, reaching elevated platforms, clearing tall obstacles and climbing structures with impressive ease. With a running start, she can cover substantial distances in a single bound, while her claws provide additional grip when climbing. On occasion, she can instinctively draw upon the Force to enhance a jump beyond her normal physical capabilities, though doing so requires focus and is not always reliable. Despite these advantages, she remains subject to physical limitations and can still be injured by falls or poorly judged movements.

HEIGHTENED SENSES

Norra's feline eyes are particularly effective in low-light environments, allowing her to navigate dim corridors and poorly illuminated surroundings more comfortably than most Humans. Her mobile ears provide excellent directional hearing, helping her identify approaching footsteps and subtle environmental sounds. Her senses are biological rather than supernatural, and complete darkness or excessive noise can still present serious difficulties.

She can tolerate shallow water and ordinary bathing, but travelling across open seas or entering deep water can trigger considerable anxiety. THE RED DOT PROBLEM

One of Norra's more embarrassing weaknesses is her instinctive reaction to small, rapidly moving points of light. A laser pointer projected onto a nearby surface can trigger an almost irresistible urge to chase and pounce on the elusive dot. Despite being fully aware that the light is harmless and that pursuing it serves absolutely no purpose, her feline instincts sometimes overwhelm her better judgement. Her ears perk up, her pupils widen and her attention becomes fixed on the moving light. If sufficiently distracted, she may suddenly leap after it before realising what she is doing. Norra finds this behaviour deeply humiliating and will strongly deny having any such weakness. Unfortunately, anyone who has witnessed it knows otherwise.

SENSITIVE HEARING

Her excellent hearing comes with a significant disadvantage. Sudden explosions, high-frequency noises and powerful sonic disturbances can overwhelm her senses, causing pain, disorientation and temporary difficulty concentrating.

LIMITED FORCE TRAINING

Norra's connection to the Force is genuine, but her knowledge remains incomplete. Without a teacher, she has developed habits that are not always efficient or reliable. She lacks advanced lightsaber training, sophisticated Force techniques and a proper understanding of many aspects of the Force. Her instinctive abilities cannot reliably compensate for the experience of a trained Jedi or Sith.

FELINE DISTRACTIONS

HISTORY //

Norra was born and raised on Cathar, the ancestral homeworld of her species, where she enjoyed a perfectly ordinary upbringing. Her family was neither particularly wealthy nor especially important. They lived a comfortable enough life, and Norra spent her childhood much like any other young Cathar: playing with friends, exploring the surrounding countryside, climbing trees and occasionally getting herself into trouble. She was an energetic and curious child, with a particular fondness for fish and a tendency to wander further from home than she was supposed to.

Her sensitivity to the Force manifested gradually during her adolescence. Small objects occasionally moved when she concentrated on them, and she sometimes experienced unusual intuitions about her surroundings. Rather than seeking out the Jedi or another Force tradition, Norra chose to explore these strange abilities herself. Through patience, experimentation and plenty of failed attempts, she eventually developed a modest degree of control over her connection to the Force. Her abilities remained largely instinctive, and she never considered herself a Jedi.

As she grew older, Norra began to feel increasingly curious about life beyond her homeworld. There was no tragedy forcing her departure, no enemy pursuing her and no grand destiny calling her away. She simply wanted to see more of the galaxy. After leaving Cathar, Norra began taking whatever legitimate or reasonably manageable work she could find. Her first assignments were relatively simple: transporting small shipments, delivering packages between settlements and assisting independent traders with routine cargo runs.

Over time, she expanded into more demanding work. She accepted escort contracts, helped protect merchant vessels and occasionally worked as hired muscle when a client needed someone capable of handling trouble. Throughout her travels, Norra has continued experimenting with the Force in her spare time, developing her abilities at her own pace without seeking the guidance of any established order. She has no particular interest in becoming a Jedi, and the Sith philosophy holds even less appeal. For Norra, independence is not a political statement or a grand philosophical conviction. It is simply the freedom to decide where she goes, what work she accepts and what kind of life she wants to live.

Today, she continues travelling between systems, accepting deliveries, escort assignments, security work and occasional mercenary contracts whenever the opportunity presents itself. She prefers reasonably paid jobs, clients who do not ask too many unnecessary questions and assignments that do not involve crossing enormous oceans. Dogs are also best kept at a respectable distance, and anyone attempting to distract her with a laser pointer should probably reconsider.
