  • Canon Link: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Primary Source: Cortosis
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: Jedi, Sith, Force Users
  • Affiliation: Anyone
  • Market Status: Open-Market
  • Model: Non-dimetris circuits
  • Modularity: Mass-Produced
  • Material: circuits
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Surge Protection - Limits the voltage supplied to the Lightsaber to a certain threshold, by absorbing the spike when a transient occurs, thus avoiding damage to the components connected to it.
STRENGTHS
  • No feedback - Non-dimetris circuits prevents the lightsabers activation loop receiving a feedback crash that runs through the system upon hitting the material Cortosis. This means that your blade remains active on contact.
WEAKNESSES
  • Not all powerful - These circuits do not allow you to cut through Cortosis like most common materials.
DESCRIPTION
A simple lightsaber component that can replace the more common dimetris circuits within the activation loop. Unlike its common counterpart this circuit protects the Lightsaber blades shorting out upon coming into contact with Cortosis. Though this component takes up a little more space, it is worth it for the surge protection it offers. The means to create these exist publicly within the holonet and in scriptures of specialty components within many orders of force users.
