Noble Intentions

Sala'dine

Admiral of the Ghost Fleet
Location: Kelsier

The operations that they were doing here went a long way, with more work and more areas of interest they had been well developing a stronger navy for the Silver jedi. They had some things that would be able to fit the bill but they also had a large gap ship wise of well larger ships, they had plenty and the numbers could do a whole lot more compared to many others. She wanted to see what they could get and what they would be able to use to fill in the gaps of their fleets and defenses. it would also go a long way towards getting some of the older ships and things they they wanted to get. She had her eyes on the old model but still obscenely gunned MC180's thanks to the meditation chambers they they had and should be able to use. With the right command set up they could have it be for battle meditation. She knew the jedi themselves were working on something special based on technology they had discovered in one of the attacks buried deep. So behind the desk she sat on the command holo chair letting the station be an impressive and imposing manufacturing and processing center as stygium mines on the planet below were being set up.

How long had it been since she had unburied her head from her homeworld of Rendili? To be utterly honest, the head of Rendili Stardrive wasn't sure herself. For a while she had been quite content to simply handle business as quietly and small time as possible. The rest of the galaxy could go crazy without her getting herself into a frenzy trying to keep up for a change. Although she had to admit when the republic had dipped so long ago she had been tied up trying to keep tracking of what surplus never shipped to them and what ships and parts were retrievable or able to be re purposed for future sales. Not that she cared much at this point, it felt like the agreed upon market tactics to keep everyone in check had gone out the window in all this time as well.

Still, when she received contact to do some business again all the way out with someone looking out for the Silver Jedi interests, Camellia couldn't help but see for herself what was desired. After all, the Silver Jedi had kept communications with the Inner Rim worlds and their shipyards after the Sith had conquered them all for what had ended up being a far longer period a time than many would have hoped. "Station Control, this is Camellia Swift of Rendili Stardrive seeking permission to dock. Entering the system at standard course, Does my vessel have a berth to land in?" With her tail flicking behind her, the Rendili woman stared out at the station of Kelsier and wondered where this meeting was going to lead.

Sala'dine perked up when she was listening to it, she was able to hear the sounds of them alerting that someone had arrived. Then they were communicating which went a long way since they had problems. It made the destroyer that was on patrol stand down as they listened and she spoke. "That is our guest." She mmotioned and brought up the display of the station as the hulking beast of a manufacturing plant appeared ready for anyone to be able to use here in space. The admiral was looking over at more of it before her eyes flicked around to get a few of the better ideas that they had been working on, there were a few other parts ntil she motioned so that Camellia could dock with the station and come and join her.

The station was of imposing size, and so Camellia was actually incredibly happy she was getting the chance to get a view of it enroute to the docking bay. Between the approach and what she hoped to gather from moving about inside it, and perhaps if she was lucky as well to glean a peek at its structural blueprints, she'd have a much better idea of its capabilities and purpose if the reason she was invited out here involved any of the work the stationed performed. It gave her a pang though as well. Stations so often were simply built for size nowadays to pack as much manufacturing and production facilities into it, or to put as many weapon emplacements as possible. There were very few habitat types, though that was not what she cared about so much. Even if they were manufacturing or defense stations, very few were designed with a pleasing aesthetic. Not that she thought the station ahead in particular looked wrong, but places with shipyards or stations that encompassed the world to ingrain in the world's beauty like Dac or Kuat (though the world itself was dirty).

Regardless, once her shuttle entered the docking bay the Rendili woman was focused on the meeting once again. Waiting for a guide to lead her through the station, Camellia hoped the day would be fruitful.

She could see the ship was cooming in to dock with them and let her able to see through all of it. Where they were going and heading through now the massive station was being used to help refine and show off their stygium mines. The different ones across the planet that had been set up here. The patrol destroyers they had managed to make also benefited as they came fro these mines. "Once she in onboard welcome her and set it up. I'll be in the main meeting room" There were some nods and Sala'dine was working to make sure she looked properly presentable so that they would all be able o look good. THe stations hardlight projectors giving off some areas of interest and with the manufacturing droids all around it went a step or three further since they were processing the crystal into its own plates and components to use.

Camellia had a child like grin looking over what she could see as her ship came closer to the docking bay. She was eager to see the station's inner workings, its production facilities, and anything else she could get a gander at while she was visiting. However, once her vessel touched down within the station's bay, the Rendili woman took a breathe and made sure her appearance was in order as she exited the craft composed as she met the welcome committee. The one in charge appeared to be waiting for her elsewhere in a meeting room by what they told her as she stepped off her ship. "That sounds fine. Lead the way then, I'm eager to meet with her." And to take in the sights of the station as they walked, the visible stygium processing and hardlight equipment catching the Rendili woman's eyes as she was led to her waiting host. Once there, the Croa gave her host a greeting smile as she entered the room. "It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Camellia Swift of Rendili Stardrive. I believe we have business to discuss."

"And I am Sala'fine Ori." She said it and her name wasn't much people knew.. really she preferred it that way. As a means compared to others who liked being popular or famous... she'd rather be the one moving towards the greater whole compared to all of it. She much preferred the other parts that came from things like this. With a better way to have access and get some sections put out when she was showing more things around. "We have been looking to make all of the more advanced and more practical designs here since we have a stygium mine on the planet and few others come out thiss far." No one even tried to use the research lab that was on the planet they had discovered of the jedi.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Sala'fine." Camellia flicked her tail as she gave a slight bow before moving toward a seat. The other woman seemed ready to get right to business as she began to speak about the stygium mine and other design work being done over the station they currently resided in. It left the Rendili woman yearning for the spark of drive that pushed her to work so much harder before in developing new concepts. The state of how business was conducted and honored now though left a lot to be desired. No checks or standards, just a lot of unfair market practices that didnt really encourage competition. Regardless, Camellia was content to at least be here now doing something at least. "Stygium is certainly a valuable resource, I imagine you can conduct a lot of experiments with new designs with a controlled source and the proper facilities. It's a shame no one bothered to venture out here, but it's your gain in the end so I doubt you'd complain about the lack of exploring spirit in the galaxy. Was the primary reason for this meeting something pertaining to your ongoing projects here then?"

She was looking at her and yes it was an important thing to deal with. No one came out here but she had no seen a lot from other stygium worlds in the galaxy. They just didn't seem to be making stealth ships like they used too... which could be a good thing. Few could match the patriol destroyer in terms of what it offered. That being the biot layer of the ship which added the inability to be sensed by force users on top of its normal stealth systems and stealth detection systems with a crystal grav trap. There was a small look as she crossed her arms standing over one fo the small platforms looking out upon the workers and engineers. She was going in towards the office itself so she could take a seat and offer it bringing up a small screen so they could show some of the images for ships. "With everything that has been happening, I have been going over and searching out some fo the older ships from the republic that could be of use."

At the mention of older Republic ships the Rendili women couldn't help but glance at the woman with some suspicion, though she kept her expression neutral with a touch of surprise. Rendili Stardrive had done plenty of work recovering any abandoned republic craft that was of their design. Of course some republic holdouts likely had some from when the once galactic government had broken apart, and others had certainly stolen some that were abandoned before the shipwright had managed to track them down. Still, Camellia definitely knew she had tried to mitigate rampant misuse, or the lack of use at all, for the vessels designed for the republic that had already been built. There hadn't been anyone that felt suitable to rewrite the contracts for yet, so they had been holding onto most of the ships and designs for now. "I can't speak for other companies who sold to the Republic, but Rendili Stardrive has salvaged several of our own designs that were abandoned during the Republic's fall, and we have yet to find new homes for the private contracts we had with the former government as well. I'm assuming you're aware of this and that's why you called me specifically out here."
