No Pain, No Gain [Iella E'ron]

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
In Voss, Noon

Beep beep beep beep...

Just shut up... Let me sleep for five minutes...

Beep beep beep...

Ugghh....

Yesterday was really a tiring day, the Alchaka training was probably the most exhausting training that they had so far, but she didn't have any complaints because if there wasn't pain there wouldn't be any gain, that was the first rule of being a Jedi. She grinned of her laziness, after a long time she didn't have any want to get up from her bed. Her clock continued beeping, beeping and beeping, it was the time to get up, else Master E'ron could be mad, and definitely she didn't want to see her like that. White Dragon was a little scary after all, and today she said that their training was about lightsabers... Great!

Finally managing to wake up, she slowly got up from the bed, yawning and stretching to leave this sleepy state. Moving towards her bathroom, she splashed cold water to her face, which immediately made her shaky. But at least it opened her eyes. Finishing her job, she put on her sports clothes, and made her way to the shelf that held her lightsaber. Taking it and placing it to the hold, she looked one last time to mirror to check herself, and yes, everything was ready. Here we go, she told to herself and entered the password to the keypad, which made a clicking sound on the door.

Slowly making her way to the forests, both Master E'ron and Nima loved training there. It had lots of oxygen, free space, an ideal place for a training. And Master E'ron was there, waiting for her. With a giggle, she moved towards her. "Aww... Did I make you wait too long?" She asked, with an excited tone. Probably her Master was early, because she was sure that she made it here on time.

"Your late", she said only turning her head to look over her shoulder at Nima. Iella dressed in cream form fitting trousers, brown belt and white shirt, her light saber clipped to her hip. Finally she turned to face her Padawan, no sign of any pleasure or displeasure on her face or flowing through the force.

She began to prowl around the area, like a caged feline continually eying the Lethan, however she could not hold the pretense for too long, as a small smile turned her mouth upward.

"You ready?". The white dragon leaped to her hand, and hissed to life as it ignited, the blade at an angle pointing to the ground.

And here she was thinking that she made here on time, Master E'ron beat her again. She was always at the meeting early for the trainings, that sort of turned to a competition between two. "Just please let me win for once." She giggled, but couldn't get a similar reaction from her. Seeing her Master's emotionless face, she looked at her back with a worrying look. Was she angry with her as she thought she would be if she got to the meeting point late back in her room? She lifted her right eye brow as her Master started to move back and forth, looking towards her as she was examining her, and trying to find a weakness... Just as a predator examining its prey before attacking. Alright Nima, don't be the prey... Don't be the prey...

Watching her moves carefully, she saw the slight smile forming on her face slowly. Yeah, she was pretty straightforward today, and she didn't look as patient as yesterday. So, today's training was going to be more difficult and she was going to die from exhaustion probably, she could see it. Hearing the hiss from the activation of famous White Dragon, the voice that was coming from was different from other sabers, the energy of the crystal was so focused that she could feel the Force flowing from it.

“You know I am always ready, Master.” Giving an evil grin, she activated her lightsaber, hearing the hiss and seeing the blue energy form slowly, cutting the thin air. She took her combat stance and gave her a confident look. "So, what will we be doing today?" Standing ready for a possible attack from her, she waited her to make the first move. Because she looked like she was about to attack any second.

"I thought we might training in Sokan", she kept her circling and her eyes on Nima. It is simply all theatrics of course as her eyes would reveal but Iella was determined to arm Nima with all her skills she had acquired over the years. There is no point having these skill and no one else to benefit from them.

"It is a form that uses speed, in quick strikes aimed at the vital area of your opponent. More physical, with a blend of styles. Not a structure form as such". There is always method to Iella's madness in training, her new meditations will now come to benefit her in this, allowing her to open up and think outside a structure.

Sith do not fight with honour or set rules, they are dirty and so she must learn to be able to cope with this when the time comes, and it will.

Iella sensed her Padawan on guard which she smiled at, good for her. And Iella lunged beginning the training. Her lunge aimed for the hip from the front, low stance and powerful.

Listening her Master's words, she continued to examine her movement to determine what she would do next. She was good at concealing herself, as she continued to talk without any emotion. Her lightsaber pointing the ground, she let her guard down for a second, thinking that she wasn't going to attack. But that was the worst decision she made.

"Sokan? Hmm... Okay I am..." Just as she was going to finish her sentence, she sensed her Master's saber coming towards her hip, with a good amount of speed. "By the..." Thinking fast and with a quick reflex she moved her lightsaber between Master E'ron's lightsaber and her hip, hearing the voice of two lightsabers clashing and barely avoiding a serious wound. She looked at her, lifting her right eyebrow. "Wow..." The only word that escaped her mouth.

Yeah, the training was started, and the first attack showed that it was going to be merciless. There was no room for mistakes. So, still holding her Master's lightsaber away from touching her body, she made her left hand a fist and fastly swung it, aiming for the head, a quick but not that powerful one. A smile formed on her face, two would play that game.

Punching a Jedi Master, a Grandmaster, in the face, wouldn't be that much of a good idea of course. But she was the one started playing dirty.

Although Iella avoided the punched with a pull back of her head, she knew that her Padawan would soon make a mark. She would have to be more careful. However, the move from Nima presented an opportunity to her, as he follow through brought Nima's shoulder close to her.

Iella bunted her shoulder with her own enough to unsettle her balance a little. She grinned, with delight, not only for the fun of the fight but the fact Nima had engaged immediately in the dirty play. This was going to be fun, and Iella would not hold back, nor did she wish Nima to, just because she is Master. The Sith do not worry themselves with rank and file, or honour .. there is no honour is fighting a Sith.

Iella will lead the attack once more, the blade swinging low toward Nima's closest leg, a solid target zone to incapacitate the opponent. One hand came off her blade on impact, and she raised to give Nima a reasonable powerful force push. Enough the throw her a few meters, there is no point in full impact of her ability that would simply not be proactive.

The reason she did this however, was for Nima to learn to use all her abilities when fight, the saber is not the only weapon in a Jedi's hand.

"Throw everything at me", she said with a nod so Nima would have no doubt Iella gave her blessing.

The counter attack that she much expected from her Master, a quick shoulder to her defenseless shoulder came and made her dizzy, a big amount of energy following afterwards, pushing her with a strength she couldn't bear, that made her fall backwards, as she only regained her balance after a cut or two from the rocks that were in the way.

Cleaning the blood from her fresh wounds, she looked... a little angry. She couldn't conceal the change in her aura for a second, but then took a big breath and tried to think rationally. At the beginning she didn't take things that seriously, but an old saying told "Eye for an eye." and also her Master said that she was free to throw everything, so she started to look for something that could both distract her and create an opening, and then attack and finish the job. Easier saying than doing of course.

Looking at the same rocks that just cut her crimson skin like a razor, she got a little idea, maybe she got her distraction now. But she had to do something else too, else she would get rid of that rocks easily and attack her back, and that wouldn't be a good thing. Then, something from nearby just got her attention, the bank that was sitting just near the Master... Perfect!

She lifted the rocks with the help of the Force, and threw them towards her, all going to different directions but all going to hit her if she didn't act. And then with a quick reflex she pulled the bank towards her Master quickly with all strength she had, if the plan had worked that would cause an opening maybe, and that was a good chance for her to take.

Iella sensed the build-up of emotions within her Padawan, a good health sense of anger at the pain she had experienced as well as being caught off guard. It would directed at her, she knew this, even though her anger was internally at herself.

As the rocks formed in the air and flung toward her, Iella did have to react quickly, she had been in this situation many times, at the receiving end of Sith throwing ball bearings at her at an alarming speed, she had only turned Master at that stage, and was hit hard with them cracking ribs and a face covered in mud, but she survived. Damn Mikhail Shorn, he is good very very good and had taught her a very valuable lesson. Now however, older and wiser she raised her arm and gathered the rock through the force and immediately sent them back to Nima, much faster.

However, as she was about to move forward to lunge at Nima once more, her legs are hit by a bank from directly behind her, almost taken her legs out from under her. She smiled as she awkwardly tried to regain balance. However, the rocks Nima would need to deal with gave her time to regroup. She gave Nima a nod of approval as she moved forward to strike Nima with her blade once more, sending two strikes to her arm on the left, one aimed high on the shoulder and the second toward her wrist to disarm her.

Watching she easily reflected the stones back to her, she prepared herself for the faster rocks coming towards her, she focused to the rocks and remembered her training, maybe she could do what her Master just did and she could send it back to her faster. She held her hand up, towards the rocks to slow the rocks down. But they were really fast. She gained some time because of the strategy she created though, it was delicious to watch her trying to regain her balance.

She managed to decrease the speed of the rocks, but they were hard to control so she just swung them behind her. Just the see the energy signature really near to her, Master E'ron was attacking. She felt pain on her shoulder and then burning on her wrist, which caused her to moan in pain and lose grip of her lightsaber.

Holding her burning wrist, she jumped backwards and called her lightsaber back and activated it. Coughing, she talked out of breath. "I... suppose I would be... dead after that move if I was fighting the Sith." Still burning, she jumped towards her just to land in front of her and her hand still on the ground, she made her move to kick her legs, in order to make her lose balance. It was all about the balance after all. The way it was going, she could see that Master E'ron was in a good advantage, as she couldn't even give a good damage to her as she was bleeding all over the arm herself.

"Not necessarily", Iella said backing off to set the fight once more. "It would depend on your opponent, your ideas are good Nima don't stop them after all this is what training is about".

Iella moved once more, she would never use Vaapad on Nima that is not the point of this exercise, but Iella is quick. Years and years of training and wars has made her powerful in this skill it would take a very good jedi to best her. But she wants Nima to become as strong as her abilities will allow.

A swift strike came to Nima this time directly to the torso in a lunge, it would be the only strike for now.

Taking the damage to her torso, her breathing cut out for a second so she found herself falling to the ground in seconds. Her master was a good duelist indeed, she couldn't even hit a single blow to her, but she was still alive and it was a good thing. Now, she was understanding the pain she would get if she didn't train a lot, because this pain she was feeling right now, wouldn't be as great as the pain she would feel dueling with others, especially the Sith. She didn't wan to get up as she was pretty tired. So she extended her hand for her to help her stand up, in a submissive manner, looking at her Master as she was running out of moves. Time to act.

"I... I give up. You win. Congratulations." She talked while trying to decrease her breathing speed. "Can you lend me a hand please, I am pretty... beaten up right now." Giving a little smile, she waited her move.
