It was times like these, when the Galaxy was closing in on a state of Star Peace and plans were formulating in the minds of a select few darksided individuals, that Kära reminisced of the past. One thing in particular struck her as paramount, the finding of her former Master. Tyrin Ardik had been a very influential member of the Sith Empire, even ascending to the 'throne' as Emperor. Yet long before then, when Kära was but a child, he had done something more.
He had found a wandering little Umbaran attempting to sneak into the Sith Academy on Korriban; there he had stopped her and eventually inducted her into the Order. Little did he know that in truth he was the pinnacle point, the one who had set in motion the wheel of time, that which brought Lady Vi'dreya to where she was today. Had he turned her away she would have had no choice but to seek another path, given her age at the time. Had he not stopped her and she had entered the Academy then her life would have been terminated before she could even explain herself.
Everything she had achieved, all she had attained, was a byproduct of his one minor decision. Part of her wondered if it was merely the innate kinship they held which had led him to assist her, for she was certainly too young to simply be permitted entrance without good cause. The memory still rang within her mind, even now, even eighteen years of her life later. He had been the one to solidify the Sith Code within her mind, and she'd never forgotten it.
And so it was that she sought him out; she'd had to dig deep and find the trail he left when fleeing the Empire. In the end she was led to a planet within CIS territory, Hypori. The next part would require tentative steps, she knew, unless she wanted to risk ruining the whole thing. Having sent down a request to land and a meeting with the Viceroy through a secure commlink the woman simply sat and waited in the cockpit of her ship. The real question was whether or not Tyrin would humour an old student...
